It's one of the few drive-through car washes in the area that I can use because I have a rear luggage rack on my vehicle that bans me from other car washes in the area. The problem is, this car wash is usually OUT OF SERVICE. I've checked every day this week and see it's still closed. This is so frustrating as I have two car wash coupons that will expire soon if I can't use them. Other than a non-working car wash, though, customer service here is great, the place is kept clean, and they are normally well-stocked. The hot breakfast and lunch food items run out early, though.

Yes, the Putin invasion has made it much worse. Despite the obscenely higher prices of everything, this convenience store is my favorite in Sierra Vista. For one reason, the variety of soft drinks, all sizes of which WERE less than a dollar, though, like everything else these days, they're higher now. For another, gasoline here is usually the lowest-priced in town. First reason, though, is the courtesy of the personnel. Friendliness and courtesy is the norm in Sierra Vista, even at convenience stores, but the nice folks here usually are number one in those aspects. For anyone in this part of town, East Fry Boulevard, I strongly recommend this Speedway. And I suggest you get a loyalty card to save even more. Speedway corporation has spread widely across these United States. I've shopped in Speedways in Indiana and Tennessee previously, but this one is my favorite. This is one of the better locations which is clean and well lit with a good selection of convenience items. Located just outside the Fort Huachuca main gate, it's a very convenient store near the intersection of Fry Boulevard and Highway 90. The store is open 24 hours a day, every day of the week. If you're staying at the Garden Place Suites accross the street it's great since there isn't much else in the area and it's nice to be able to walk over and get what you need at any time of the day or night. The staff is enjoyable to talk with and are very friendly and fun. The store offers a good selection of snacks, beverages, hot, cold, and frozen food items, and a good selection of beer, wine, and liquor. There is also a gas station at this location with better prices than other locations on the larger intersections. It's never too busy and always quick and convenient.

I get that you have to "stretch" popular items, but there comes a point where you either serve coffee or the coffee substitute. But that isn't even the biggest issue. We go in at 8 to 8:15 Sunday mornings. Have for a good long while and eat before the church rush comes in. But for the last 3 months we had to find somewhere else because more and more tables are marked RESERVED as if this were a Michelin restaurant and not a diner. You used to see one or two tables with a card on it. Last time we went in, there were six. Now in a small establishment where you seat yourself, this is a big turnoff! The ONE time we did find a table, we were there for well over an hour as we had to wait for our food from the kitchen and don't you know, no one ever came in and sat at those reserved tables. Not one! Now the wait staff is still very nice and friendly and they seem disappointed when we have to turn around and leave. But that's the only bright spot. Well, that and this has caused us to go searching for another local breakfast restaurant to become regulars at. Thankfully we have!
