My go to store for all my fresh produce, I can find anything and everything. Their customer service is awesome, Huge shoutout to Scott who works in Self-Checkout he always has a smile underneath that mask and never forgets to wish me a great day. I love all the deli meats they sell here for a quick sandwich on the go. I always get the Boars head meats because they are worth the price. You can always find deals on their meats as well. They also have a "Western Union" which can be handy for anyone sending money like I do. Overall very clean environment inside and out. Can I just say right now how much I hate grocery shopping even before the pandemic hit and how much I love their curbside pickup? The staff members who have helped me this year were beyond amazing. I hope they do not ever stop this service. I mean one time I even got free sample gift bags. Woohoo! While not criticisms, I do have some suggestions for them. One time for some reason they were training someone and for some reason they pre-cashed out my order before the worker got to my car. She could not accept my coupons. That was weird but only happened once so I think a fluke. I could have come back but it was not worth it to me. Speaking of coupons. I love the coupons they send me in the mail. This Fry's was beautifully decorated for Thanksgiving. Today, on Veteran's Day, Fry's let vets have a donation table. The cinnamon scented pine cones filled the air with holiday spice. They had blueberries and raspberries on sale. All their produce was beautifully displayed. I loved their seafood counter. They have fresh oysters from Virginia ready to be shucked. I bought stuffed clams for a dollar each. They baked up beautifully. Next time I have a party, I am buying these bad boys to serve up as a dip with crackers. The credit/debit check out was a slight disappointment. Whenever I needed customer support, they were a little slow, but overall, I did not mind shopping at this Fry's. read more

I prefer to shop at Frys for the simple fact that they are smart enough to have childcare for parents while grocery shopping. It's called the Kids Corner and brilliant idea. The staff is all CPR and First Aid certified!! How great is that?!! I can actually grocery shop in peace without my kids grabbing random things from the shelves. The Scan, Bag, Go is great for making a quick trip to grab a few things and makes it fast and easy. If you haven't yet tried it you should! I still haven't tried Clicklist but I've heard it's super convenient. I've noticed there are additional savings/coupons when you use Clicklist. Be sure you have a Frys VIP card and for additional savings download the app to digitally load coupons and view weekly ad. Don't forget to ur the Free Friday downloads! read more

This is a very easy place to shop. The aisles are very well organized but most of all they have the option for Scan Bag and Go. This makes shopping very easy. You scan your items along the way and are able to bag your groceries immediately. When you are done shopping, you scan the barcode code at self check out. Self check out will auto populate everything that you purchased and ready to insert a credit card. No need to wait for someone to scan each item at the end. In addition, gas points is an added benefit and the shell station is right across the street. There was a good variety of fruits and vegetables that were reasonably priced too. Recently stopped here looking for Himalayan Pink Salt on the recommendation of a friend. I ended up at the deli counter. The prepared food deli counter that is! Oh my!! This place is awesome! They have fresh, delicious entrees, salads and desserts! A large selection. Since Big Blond Man needs to eat and I have to work more than I have time to cook, this is just the place to get something for him. The counter service is good. You take a number, which I like. No old ladies cutting in front of you. They had several people working, so the wait was short. Staff is pleasant. Prices look a little high at first, but are comparable to what I've spent elsewhere for prepared food. Tried the lasagna and chicken parmesan so far. Two thumbs up for both! The store itself is clean, well lit and organized. I found the Himalayan Pink Salt and a few other things. Bakery area has a large selection as well. Noticed in the grocery area that they carry a larger variety of brands and items than most stores. Will be back! read more

I guess during a national emergency is a hard core review opportunity- sink or swim, right?! I was actually impressed. Other stores I've been at have stupid arbitrary limits on how much you can buy during these panicked times- and capping at 5 (or none!) is pointless because people will quickly hoard and make it a waste of a trip for others. Since you can only buy one of high volume items at this location you're assured a chance of getting some of what you need along with the other less drama inspiring stuff. Cuts down on wasted gas and trips for sure! That being said if I was someone who liked regular pasta and flour I'd be ticked off, since no limits on those meant a number of naked shelves. Luckily I was seeking chickpea flour and brown rice pasta, which apparently is of no interest to your average Fry's shopper. I have a feeling it is a far different story at Sprouts! Interesting times. Good store. Fellow shoppers were polite and they actually had more than 2 lines open, far superior to the jerks at my local Safeway. ;) Will most likely be back, definitely won't go out of my way to avoid! read more

I bought a box of wine with a reduced tag on it. When I opened it at home a fly came out of the pour spout. I brought it back to return the contaminated product and had a terrible experience. The manager yelled at me, yes yelled, telling me all items marked at a reduced price are non-refundable and sold as is. I tried to tell her there are no signs stating "no returns" she just kept yelling it's store policy, no returns. I still gave her the box of wine and asked for her to throw it away because I'm not going to drink it after a fly came out of the spout, I don't know what else is in that box. She throw it in the trash behind her and walked away from me. Absolutely terrible customer service. I double checked the area I had grabbed the box from and confirmed the signs had no warning of "no returns" or "buy as is." Terrible Secret policy and terrible customer service. read more

I am very disappointed with Fry's as they are not mandating wearing masks. As a food store I would this it would be required by law however when I pointed out a man not wearing a mask, I was told Fry's does not enforce mask wearing. I called the store and spoke with a different person and was told the same thing. This does not seem safe and Fry's should do better to protect their staff and customers. If we all must we are masks at a gym, why not a store that sells food. read more

The attitude & incompetence that was once a big part of Fry's looks like it is FINALLY coming to an end. They got rid of the problem: a very rude, contagiously miserable employee. Yaaay! But enough of that. I am proud of Fry's for recognizing that there was a problem and fixing it! This store has the potential to ROCK! Everyone in there is now so upbeat and cool to talk to. They have a great selection of organic foods. This is my to go to spot when I am in a jam or need to make a quick trip. Fry's is by far THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO GET ORGANIC PRODUCTS. They have great prices and even greater SALES!!! The produce is mostly always fresh and they even have sales on it too. Just about every isle you go down has organic products to offer: go down the baking isle and find organic sugar, spice and oil; canned foods isle? get organic beans and rice; the frozen section? get organic veggies and fruit, even ice cream!!!.... and more. If you need an organic product be sure to look here too (don't just rule them out). They are coming around pretty quickly. The best part is they don't charge you an "arm & a leg" for it. The organics are close in price to the conventional products. That totally rocks! I guess it is because they are a big chain based mainly out of CA so they can offer the most competitive prices?! Idk, all I do know is that they offer smoken' deals over everyone else! They could offer more though. I have not seen organic meats yet, but I am hoping they will stock them soon. And I would really like to see them stock some organic cleaning products. Some of the conventional items to highlight are baked goods. They make great rolls for subs, but they sell out quickly. Their bagels are great too! You can even place an order to pick up the next day. Fry's is a great place to shop at now: great, cheap organics and no miserable, looser guy to bring the mood down. Stopped by this Fry's location on my way home on a busy weekend. I was so disappointed to see the dirty plastic screens still up at the checkout. Obviously this prevents airflow in the most crowded area of the store-all other locations I go to have long since removed then. Fry's has stopped disinfecting carts and since doing so have also run out of sanitizing wipes at this location at least twice in the past week. While visiting the deli, there were 2 customers waiting while one was being helped. There were 3 employees behind the counter, the one helping a customer, one cleaning in the back and one at a computer/machine with her back facing the customers. The girl working asked for the girl at the computer to assist customers waiting. The girl at the computer didn't move for another 5.30 minutes timed. Then sauntered over and asked the customers who was next. One had 58 and the machine was on 45. She slowly proceeded to assist as the other person was focused with the large order she was handling quickly. As a customer it was frustrating to see, as hard working employees I bet it's even more frustrating to have to pick up the slack. Additionally, her hair net was covering the slightest amount of her long hair. Very disappointed. read more

To all the shoppers. Please read your food and drink for EXPIRED DATE before you buy for you and your family. I just happened bought the expired Coke bottle from the store today Nov -29-2020 I didn't check the expired date. Who does on coke ? So I drink it and teased supper funny so l look the bottle is was already expired on nov/09/20. So i went back to the store and talk to store manager I said the bottle is expired. First things he told me is go to service and get your refund. Seems like is happened very often the way how he said it. It make me worry every more.I didn't go back to store get my money $1.29 back. All I want is to make sure nobody else will have to eat or drink expired food like me. Selling expired food or drink is not okay with Health violation at all. That is a very very big NoNo. I'm not sure if they even care for shoppers who depend on this grocery store every day of their life. I really hope that they see this review and fixed the issue before somebody else eat and drink and got sick from it. That will do no good anybody. I have been going to this frys for a couple years now and about half the time we wind up having to bag our own groceries. We get it, the workers are busy, so we never make a fuss about doing it ourselves. At the end of the day we all want to get our stuff and be done. Tonight was a COMPLETELY different story. We saw one of our regular cashiers. He's a sweet man. He asked the girl to our right MULTIPLE times "Madison, I need help". She completely ignored him three separate times as she proceeded to fold bags onto the plastic bag holder. She literally stood there ignoring the cashier as we bagged things ourselves. She never offered to help. He finally raised his voice louder and said again that he needed help. She finally says "help with what?" She then comes over and scans two large items at the bottom of the cart. She gave the scanner back and said "have a good day". As she walked away (to the checkout line right next to us to continue folding bags) the cashier said again " Madison, I needed help bagging groceries". Again, she ignored him. I asked for the manager, Cody, and politely explained what happened. I'm not one to make a big deal but I had to let the manager know. He looked me dead in the eye, said she is his responsibility, and said "he can talk to her about it". I can't speak for how issues get corrected at this location but I'm almost 99% sure he won't do anything about her performance. Again, I don't have an issue doing what I can to get things done and go but I just could not believe her disrespect for the co worker, the company, and the customer...not to mention the appearance of laziness. This has been one occasion out of so many that I've been neglected (usually due to not enough staff, which I understand) to bag my own groceries so I guess if you take anything from this review it's, I guess, don't expect much from the employees that bag. From this evening it's starting to become more of them not wanting to than not being able to and the manager doesn't seem to care. Also, don't expect much from Madison. I've seen her before at self checkout and she isn't the most polite. Maybe it's a fluke. Maybe not. I'm still figuring out if I'll be back to that location. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. This has been one of the most awful experiences i have ever had with any retailer, actually, it is the worst experience with retail i've ever had. I placed an online order at 1125am waited around all day for it. tried contacting 1-800-576-4377 5 times only to be disconnected 4 times and then when i finally get someone she hung up on me without ever assisting me. So i call the store directly that was fulfilling my order and get told i have to talk to instacart and get hung up on. SO i finally get a hold of instacart and am told there are no delivery drivers available. WTF! What is troubling about this, had i not called instacart i would have not known this. All my money is tied up in this order so if I cancel I wont have the money to eat tonight. NO one thought hey maybe we should call the customer and let them know. Nope no contact they were going to keep letting me wonder. Wasted my whole day waiting for something that is not coming. WHAT makes this even better . . . I wanted to change it to a pickup order, oh sorry we cant do that. If it were possible to give negative stars I would. Dropped the ball this time Kroger. Ridiculous. All i got was migraine and pass the buck no one wants any accountability for f*cking up, but when we as the customers do, we are supposed to apologize profusely. read more

I was in town for a few days and needed some supplies. I have a broken arm right now so getting food and other things can be a pain, literally! This location was alright. What makes the difference from 3 stars to 5 stars was the employee that helped me. A young man named Cody. He helped me out to my car and even helped load the items in.. actually, he did it all. "Helped" would imply that I did some of it to, but he did it all!! Super friendly and kind. I normally always say no to the help because of how awkward it can be, but I'm glad I said yes. I offered him a tip and he completely turned it down. I really tried to force it on him but to no avail! This store is our "GO TO" store! All the staff remembers us at every visit and the Kids Korner is such a great part! The girls in the kids Korner are so nice (the kids Korner manager is the sweetest girl ever). They know my kids' names by heart and the little ones look forward to going. They do arts and crafts with the kids and play along with them as well. The Starbucks inside is super convenient and always clean and the staff is friendly and personable. I LOVE the new scan shop and go option!! Saves so much time! I tried it with both the App and the scanner. I prefer the scanner. Using the app takes to long to scan. I bring my own bags and I can sort everything as I shop! I now drive 10 miles to do my shopping at this location just to use the scan feature.
