We walked into CVS Pharmacy to get our annual prescription list from 2025. I myself have not had a reason to shop inside but today I was doing some browsing and as the norm nowadays some items are locked up and spoils any shopping experience. I do get and then I don't. I feel some what bad for the employees in some sense as they have always been helpful at least when I needed their assistance. Plus the online ordering has completely changed everything and items that are now two or three times what they used to be. To be honest I pretty much pick up my prescriptions at their drive through and that's about it. I know CVS was bought out and the employees have no control over that. This is a big reason why some stores close and we are left to shop online. I'm only giving the store four stars only because of the employees and because of the store. read more

Maria in the pharmacy has NO customer service skills. When she returns phone calls she is rude & short tempered. This has been the situation repeatedly, almost yelling at me that "I have explained this already". She is repeatedly rude and lacks people-skills. I do not recommend Cvs. They always give me my medication's late every month. All of my medicines are over a day or two late on the refills. And very slow drive-through supposed to go to lunch from 130 to 2 but they never come back from lunch on time. Also the lines are ridiculous. They have plenty of employees but always a long line at the drive-through along line inside the pharmacy and the lines are just ridiculous. No one goes here to buy anything because there's never a line at the Cvs store, the pharmacy is ridiculous. You expect to stay an hour. read more

There is a worker there named Michelle that was wonderful and taught me about this cvs membership and its benefits then she showed me some deals I had no idea was going on. I can't even tell you how horrible this store is... it's between this location and the location at 1850 W. Dunlap... it's twin. They have my prescriptions under 2 profiles they have YET to merge. So when prescriptions are called in... they pick one. What does this do to my prescriptions? They get lost! I can't see that's been called in... I have duplicates... the list goes on. I've asked them to merge these profiles. They're so backed up and busy I can't get them on the phone. When I go in I'm shuffled out the door. I'm done with both locations. The lines are long. Let's not even mention the drive-thru. The drive thru is like the Starbucks drive-thru but moves 10x slower. Then to get someone on the phone??? You will almost always have an issue getting your prescriptions here. I realize you can't blame the store or location, it's CVS in general. I know this area is pretty rough these days - A LOT of homeless coming in and stealing but that should drive the company to do something about it. You can't really buy anything there the racks in cosmetics...always empty! I just buy those kind of things elsewhere and I've been going to "mom n pop" type pharmacy for my medication. This decision was a huge positive impact on my life - I no longer waste weeks worrying and waiting for my prescription to be available. read more

This is my favorite CVS store. I have been there at all hours, picking up Rx's late in the evening and have always had great customer service. In the early morning hours when people are usually very tired, I've had to ask employees for help and I've always gotten help right away with smiles that were awesome!! Let me start by saying I stoped by at 3am for a random trip to store for some essentials I like about 5 minutes away and I prefer shopping late night due to covid and the fact that most stores are just too busy during the day. I didn't expect much since it's 3am but as soon as I walked in I noticed one employee I would assume was the manger cleaning and doing upkeep. I asked him if the hand soap was still locked up, I also asked for directions to the correct aisle for hand soap. He was pretty happy to assist and also helped me get to the pet section as I had to get some essentials for my hairless cats.after my shopping I went to the cashier to check out. Cindy was very knowledgeable and assisted during check out she even helped me update my phone number for the cvs rewards and was very upbeat and happily helped me with updating my info.In conclusion I will definitely come back I loved the customer service and got in and out quickly thanks to the employee that helped me get to the right place.Much love read more

The audacity of this location at 3440 W Glendale Ave, to treat patients and customers they way that they do. You call the pharmacy and they refuse to pick up the phone, and when they do, they pick it up ,say nothing and hang up on you. Today I finally got through, after three tries and a total combined wait time, of 1hr 15min, she answers without any professionalism at all, takes my info, and then acts like I'm not in the system, and then finds it, and without explanation or apology she simply says , " they will be ready after 3pm" and slams.the phone down, basically hangs up on me. Now I was quite patient and pleasant with her, given I just got out of surgery a few hours prior. But the audacity of this center at this location to get away with treating there customers with hatred, disregard and disrespect for almost three years now, without repercussions from there district manager, regional or corporate offices is obscene. Now my employer uses CVS Caremark for prescription insurance, and we have no choice but to use their mail service or go into their stores, which is upsetting, since I have never seen Walgreens treat people the way CVS does, and if I choose to pick up a script, at Walgreens CVS will send threatening letters saying they will drop coverage, it is outlandish and outrageous that CVs forces upon their customers the opportunity to deal with their unprofessional employees at there pharmacy stores. I have walked into this store and stood in line atvthe pharamcy and watched their employee's entertain screaming matches with patients in line, cuss in front of children, let the phone ring and hang up on callers, not acknowledge customers existence, and treat the customers with indifference and annoyance when assisting them. I understand how CVS gets away with this. And frankly if the are not into their jobs then they should quit, or get better training, and be held accountable. read more

This CVS is the absolute worst! The only reason why it gets one start is because the pharm techs are usually nice. But there is one Pharmacist that's an absolute jerk. There's a big difference when it come between the actual store clerks and the pharmacy department. The front end store employees aren't usually the most pleasant to deal with. I understand they get many coming in that are not what one would consider model customers and that could stress the employees out a bit. But that's something they need to cope with to provide other good model customers with a great shopping experience. On the other hand, the back end pharmacy are always surprisingly calm and friendly even tho they are one of the most busiest locations I've seen. One pharmacist in mind is Mark. I've picked up many scripts and the times that Mark is there I've witnessed rude people going off and Mark always handles the situation very professionally. This review is solely based on the Pharmacy. Now this was the 1st time that I went here and the guy at the counter was... I don't want to say Rude but he was definitely not happy. Maybe he was mad that he was working on a Friday but he had a really shitty IDGAF attitude. I was there at about 1pm and he said Weren't filling prescriptions until after 8pm I was like yea ok yea no problem I can stop by tomorrow. Last thing I wanted to do was piss off the person filling up my prescription LOL I think that in the future I will look elsewhere. Also it's a sketchy place. It sucks that their drive-thru takes forever. There's a large sign at the Drive-Thru that says "out of respect to those in line, we cannot fill up your prescriptions as you wait". However, everytime I go, it looks like they are barely filling the prescriptions for the vehicle in front as we all wait. My mom went to pick up a prescription today 5/17 @ 35th Ave and Glendale. She understand a little bit of English, but she is not able to speak it. She called yesterday regarding the prescription for my brother, she was helped by a lady who speaks Spanish which let my mom know that the medicine was going to be ready the same day at night. She went today to pick it up and the prescription was not ready, she was trying to communicate with one of the pharmacists but none of them spoke Spanish. The woman who helped her was already heading out. My mom in a very polite way, asked her if she was able to help her tell the pharmacist that she was going to pick up the prescription. The lady who speak Spanish, yelled at her in front of the other costumers that "she was not able to help her, that she never told my mom that the prescription was going to be ready the same day, and that she was leaving already". It causes me a feeling of anger and impotence that I was not with my mom to defend her and help her. This "woman" lacks respect, manners, and customer service skills. I think people with that attitude should be fired for the rude comment and the way that she treated my mom. I am not sure what her name is, but she clearly needs to learn about respect, empathy, and professionalism. read more

Worse customer service ever. It doesn't matter what time of day you call, you'll always be on hold for over 10mins. When someone does pick up it's to place you back on hold or to hang up on you. The employees here are generally helpful but this is a rather ghetto location. I've gotten into verbal altercations with customers on 2 separate occasions. One time, I called a person out for being mean to the employees and we went back and forth. The second, it was just completely unprovoked. Normally, I dont complain but this pharmacy has the worst service! Mind you this review is solely based on the pharmacy and its process. For starters, the pharmacist are very rude, transactional, and not very engaging or willing to fix mistakes they've made. They're always behind on the prescriptions, I had to wait 9 days for my dads diabetic/high blood pressure meds to be filled, when the dr sent order in a timely manner! Now, I have to refill my dad's meds at least 3 weeks in advance for it to be ready on time! Absolutely ridiculous! I cant call the pharmacy to make sure a prescription is ready because they never answer. I'm not sure if this pharmacy needs more help but its completely unorthodox. My dad is very ill and they have given him the wrong medication and dosage more than once! The most recent mistake, they eneded up mixing a medication that was for another patient with depression/ bipolar and my dad has high blood pressure/ diabetes. What an error!!! After filing multiple complaints and speaking to every manager available, the issue still proceeds! We already transferred to another location where the service is better, efficient, and reasonable but its a bit of a drive unfortunately. If cooperate sees this (I doubt they will), they need to address the issues at this location and fix it. read more

i had the worst sore throat of my life.--on Saturday . the automated thing said i would not get prescriptions until Thursday .. so i drove back over there-- the tech and the pharmacist found another pharmacy for me .. i appreciate that. The tech was nice.. . the funny part is i was freaking out that i couldn't get the drugs but i ended up just taking vitamins I got the prescriptions at another CVS but i used vitamins instead and i think its going away... never liked big pharma anyway but i appreciate the people who helped me thank you I recommend vitamins to anyone who is sick.. they work better without side effects.. I heard one lady could not get her diabetic medicine until mid Sept .. i think there are ways to heal diabetes.. i would research it but then i dont know about her case..i had seen ads for things online i dont know if they would work.. but hope she gets help.. Love their 24 hour drive thru pharmacy! If you are not familiar with this particular cvs your in for a treat. There are two different drive thru lines: 1 is for drop off and the other for pick up. The staff is always friendly and offer you advice and answer all of you questions. The only reason i deducted a star was because of the the bums that are usuall there :/ besides that its a convenient pharmacy ! read more

After Walmart was completely incompetent in attempting to fill our disabled son's prescriptions, we returned to doing business with CVS. We were changing to another pharmacy because it was closer to his new home. However, CVS's customer service is so superior that we went back. The cvs pharmacy refused to allow me to purchase syringes for my diabetic cat because I didn't have medical prescription which I would never have because the medicine is order directly through the vet, so there will never be a prescription.
