I can't even tell you how horrible this store is... it's between this location and the location at 1850 W. Dunlap... it's twin. They have my prescriptions under 2 profiles they have YET to merge. So when prescriptions are called in... they pick one. What does this do to my prescriptions? They get lost! I can't see that's been called in... I have duplicates... the list goes on. I've asked them to merge these profiles. They're so backed up and busy I can't get them on the phone. When I go in I'm shuffled out the door. I'm done with both locations. The lines are long. Let's not even mention the drive-thru. The drive thru is like the Starbucks drive-thru but moves 10x slower. Then to get someone on the phone??? OMG I was on hold for an hour... just to see how long the hold was going to take... yeah, IDC if it is 24/7. I need to actually get my medications.

I come from a part of the country where the ubiquity of a CVS pharmacy is unhallowed legend, and the prescriptions come at the cost of visiting less desirable franchises. So many times I have wished for the friendly, helpful smile greeting me at the door where I shop, and I'm glad I found this place.

Honestly I'd expect better from a 24 hr store it should not take this long for someone in pharmacy to answer. I get they might be really busy that's why I gave them two stars. I've worked in pharmacy before and we wouldn't leave someone on hold longer than 7 min. I am still on hold while writing this review.

Terrible service. CVS does NOT care about people. Only money. I'll be switching my prescriptions ASAP.

Come on, Walgreens, get your act together and do better. So I had a heart attack last month. I was…read morein the hospital for a week. I was given a whole bunch of medication to take to my pharmacy upon discharge, to get filled. When I got to the Walgreens, there was a sign saying they were closed for the day because the pharmacist was out. really? They only have one pharmacist on staff? I was told to drive really far away to get my prescriptions. This is extremely inconvenient for someone who just had a heart attack and lives in over 100 degree weather. I went ahead and told the pharmacist at the other place that I only wanted it for one month and that the other location was my main location, and they said no worries. Fast forward till today. I called in plenty of time to fill one of my prescriptions. All wrong info GIVEN to me over the phone about my refills. I was told it would be ready at 2 o'clock. Ha! it's already a 100° in Phoenix and I'm not feeling that great to begin with. Remember, I had a heart attack a month ago. Be sympathetic health care workers. So I drive all the way there at 3pm. I AM waiting in a long line and they don't have my prescription ready. They tell me it's a mistake it is at other location. 3 hour wait if I want it there. "Why,I asked? "I called here. No answer given. The pharmacist then comes over and argues with me about one of my other prescriptions and how I'm taking it wrong. Grrrreat. I TOLD her the bottle said this and she says no it does not..Ummmm.yes it does. Verified again. She pretty much called me a.liar. Sheesh waaaa? Last Pharmacist was very rude too. I am going to fax her a photo of the bottle. She continued to say it did not. GUESS WHAT Lady? IT DOES. I drive all the way over to the other location with no AC in my car. During my wait I get sick and am not feeling well. I have to wait again in line to get my prescription barely able to stand up to be told that my prescription cannot be transferred back to the other store for next time. It has to stay on file at both locations and is my responsibility to make sure I am calling the correct one. Ummmmmm!. I was. smdh The person then tries to argue with me when I told him I never even called this location. Treats me like a 5-year-old. Says, "make sure you tell them it's at the other location,"Dude how did you even get involved, you are not my store? Again, tells me it cannot be deleted out and is my responsibility.ummm????? I did not even call this store. i am still upset that the pharmacist was totally calling me a liar about what my medication bottle says. I'm actually going to be sending her a copy of the directions on the medication bottle. Listen Walgreens. I get you are busy and people are phallable, but really? This is not the way to treat somebody who's sick. Or anyone for that matter. I am educated and an ex Health care professional. Imagine a person who is not aware or illiterate? People are sick and not at their best. Do better it is literally your job to help sick people. Stop being jerks. Onto finding a new pharmacy. By the time I got home, I was having chest pains and had a hard time breathing shameful!

On the shelf nearby, I spotted a bright red nail polish called Sally Hansen Insta-Dry 'ASAP Apple'. I was looking for this bright color for a while but chose to skip this brand due to price and was waiting for a sale instead. The night cashier was polite and used his registered phone number for me for any further discounts after the sale on the 2 lip gloss. Later that week, I was in the neighborhood again and decided to stop by to grab that red nail polish (there was only 1 in stock) before it's too late, along with 2 other colors of the same brand: darker pink 'Sleek-a-boo' and 'Espresso'. Day cashier "Blake" [dumb name for the poor guy, no wonder] gave me $1.00 off upon my request, but he messed up when he failed to print a receipt unbeknownst to me and handed me the bag with a slight uncomfortable look. Suspicious, I opened the bag outside and lo & behold- no receipt with my purchase! I walked back in and sternly demanded the receipt. He went in the back room to print out a copy. I noticed that it didn't look attractive like the in-store plus other valuable info. He didn't know a better way to resolve what I paid for, so I did his job and advised him to refund my purchase and then checkout so I could get the exact receipt that I was supposed to have had(!) He didn't know how to do that esp when he asked for my ID, and I had to tell him it's not required with a credit card purchase. He also said he thought the receipt was being e-mailed, and I told him I didn't pick that option and was not registered with Walgreens online(!) Got my receipt= mission accomplished. What a big fool he was :( However, I get to enjoy my new pretty nail polish :)

This CVS is immediately attached to the garage so I decided to ask the nice cashier for some guidance as to where this restaurant was because the GPS on my iPhone had me bypassing it! So basically we learned that if you're parking in the Cityscape garage to go to the Cityscape there's a secret path to the Cityscape minus signage! Once you park there's a shortcut you can take if you walk through the CVS to the other side, then bam you'll magically appear in the Cityscape! Oh how easy a few signs for guidance could make our lives a little less frustrating but thanks to nice cashiers we figured out how to get to the Cityscape!

Items were easy to find but I got weird vibes inside the store. Staff seemed on edge, I think they have unsavory clientele because they seemed very guarded with me. I came in to buy toothpaste ya'll, come on now... An entire entrance to the store is cornered off and many registers are not in use, this gave me even more of an eerie vibe. I'd like to see what this place is like during the day, at night it seems like a no-go. As for the good, this CVS has an amazing inventory of souvenirs, shirts, and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The location is clean and tidy, I was able to locate my items fairly quickly. Additionally, this location is pretty sizable. I had a lot of space to walk around and explore.

Food shopping is like getting gas to me. it is one of those necessary life evils one has to do and I hate. So double listen, I do not care one bit where I go and usually get the delivery option now from anyplace that can get me food when I am home at midnight. lol which is very nice but obviously can get kind of expensive. Since Covid I have discovered I love the delivery options on chores I have always hated my entire life. For the times I do need something right away, today, or have to go inside the store this is my neighborhood Fry's and I go every now and again. Lately, closest and convenient and open hours is more my jam since I work a lot and have weird work hours so it might not always be them. I also have been trying to give my business to those who are good community partners and align with my values system. Frys had always been good to me when I still taught. They often sent gift cards for my inner city kiddos. But yeah, grocery shopping is definitely not a high priority for me. Stores seem all the same to me except maybe in varied options of supplies, parking, and or size of aisles. It is not a battle I need or have right now to worry about and I am not usually picky on what is in my house to eat. I am more so when I eat out. I do beg the exception of the Frys in downtown Phoenix near the Chase field, which is the bomb! I will write a separate review on that gem. So, I am not the type of person to over worrying if my cheese is packed two inches too close to my ham. The things one sees in line at a store. Sigh and SMDH !I have other life battles to worry about besides how someone working a low wage job all day on their feet bags my groceries. I usually do it myself for them and end up throwing smaller items in my purse and rushing out the door. If a store has a non self check out I will go there and I am good. So I digressed and now back to this location. The Marketplace version of Frys are so much nicer and calmer to shop at than the regular fry's in my opinion. They are those larger types versions of grocers that often throw in a few aisles of distraction gotcha sale items we all obviously need on a grocery food run like clothes, patio furniture, and other things you can just pick up and need on your weekly food run. lol. Where is that sarcasm mark emoji when you need it? Okay, I admit i do like looking at the wares, if I have time. i usually do not find them cheaper but they ofter have very nice items out. The aisles are larger for the kids running around unsupervised and they have more variety than other smaller Fry's. In my opinion Fry's has a tad better price option on their brands of food than other stores I go to. If you are on a very tight budget Fry's might be a beter option for you than say the other major grocers in town if you do not haver to worry about gas price factoring in. I think price comparison studies show that to be pretty spot on analysis. I heard Corporate mergers might change that but for now that seems true. They have a Large parking lot of course that I have ever had any issues with almost getting killed at. This location has a gas station too if you gas up here. I have never been treated with anything but kindness by the staff. If I had an issue I would call direct and not ding the store on Yelp.
