Okay so last Monday I went here for the first time. I was not impressed. The set up is weird with the whole order at the counter and add everything you want yourself. I'm sure some people like the option but I don't want to eat condiments that are sitting out in the open and being breathed on by the general public. Nice restaurant and good service. I called in a large order 30mns before closing, and the order was ready when I arrived.

Why did I give this 4 stars? I had started the review and was going to do 2 but then something happened and I had to re-write it. But I stopped there last night and this time its 4 stars, almost 5. Ordered online for pickup. When I went in, a few different people working, All were great, helpful and were smiling. It was close to closing and there was a few people in line which made me happy. I can confirm now, that I again ordered a 1/2 pound. The one I got the other time, was not a 1/2 pound. The girl working the counter had her head someplace other than work. Shame shame shame. But great burger, cooked perfectly and no one does Frings better than Fudd... If you have not been to a Fudd in a while, go, enjoy, hope you have a great experience and help keep Fudd around. This restaurant is worth the visit and worth saving. :-) read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years with my kids and have had fairly positive experiences but today's was not one of them. Specifically I ordered the chicken strip kid's meal for one of my kids and what I got wasn't the amount of food we were used to getting. I even asked a member of the kitchen staff if 2 tenders was the usual amount and she said yes but I clearly remember the tenders being bigger and the amount of fries received was more. In fact all the meals got a really small amount of fries vs what we were used to. There are a lot of burger options in Ashburn. We like it here since it's a family friendly place, and I hope this was a fluke but if it happens again we will have to find a new place. When I pay over $30 to feed me and 2 kids, I expect more for my money. read more

Unlocked core memories for me. Did not know these still exist. Service food and ambiance is just as good as I remembered. Got the Oreo milkshake with a 1/2 lb burger and fries. Drenched them with toppings and you can't forget the processed cheese!!! My wife is always skeptical about coming here. However we always leave here satisfied and full. I would 1000% recommend to bring your families here for nostalgic memories and to introduce kids to our childhood memories. read more

We hadn't been to a Fuddruckers in years. There used to be one in Herndon that we frequented often when our daughter was growing up. Fudd's is a kid centric place with a kid-friendly menu. Thus, they attract kids' sport teams for celebratory meals where everybody gets a trophy. One day, the Herndon one closed. It took us a while to discover this. Despite my husband frequenting the Starbucks next door, he never noticed that Fudd's was gone. One day, he finally decided to take a look. Due to the layout of the place, if you just go to Starbucks, you won't notice that Fudd's was gone. There is going to be a Mellow Mushroom in its place---and I plan to check it out. But I digress... So...we went to the one in Ashburn shortly before 5 p.m. on a Saturday. This is a good time to go since there are few people there. That changed as our meal progressed, and sure enough, families with kids dressed in sports uniforms started showing up. We both got the 1/3 lb. burger. I added American cheese and bacon to mine, while my husband got a plain burger. Both of us ordered our burgers medium. His came out properly cooked while mine was more medium-well. I didn't mind this as the burger wasn't dried out. I got fries while my husband got onion rings. I like Fudd's fixings station. My favorite item in it is the pico de gallo. It has good spice and flavor to it. It's an item not often seen in burger joints. As usual, the burger was decent---not the best we've had but certainly far from the worst. The only drawback I found was that the bacon used wasn't very good quality. The fries have some nice flavoring to them. I'm not sure what they add to the fries, other than salt, but they are good. My husband liked his onion rings but, again, he has had better. So, in conclusion, it's a good place to take kids and the adults with them will always find something they like on the menu. We're in no rush to return but it is a decent and reliable place to eat if you are in the area and crave a burger. read more

Fuddruckers i was in ur restaurant four weeks ago. The place was fairly crowded. Good mix of people looked like you were doing well. The food was great. We kept remarking how reasonably priced the hamburgers, etc. were and we'd be coming back. Well, we went back... Place wasn't so crowded... training new people was not going well at all.... On top of that shrinkage has sat in no Fuddruckers not you too!! you were doing so well don't make me have to strike you off my list. I put the meat in the middle of the hamburger bun and had an inch and a half to 2 inches of hamburger bun and no meat Fuddruckers you're better than this you want to stay in business you gotta keep them in the door. read more

Have always been a big fan of Fuddruckers and this location does not disappoint. Service was quick and food was great! Can't go wrong!

There are two places in Ashburn to get your burgers: Red Robin (just up the street) and this Fuddruckers. The place is clean (including the restrooms), there is enough tables to sit (including outdoor patio) ... too bad they didn't have more booths inside, the fixings bar is always stocked with fresh items (most of the time), the staff is always friendly, and the burgers have always been good when I come (since this place opened a few years ago). I can confidently say that I haven't had a bad burger here since they opened. They need to bring the ostrich burger back. I recommend this place if you are looking for a good burger. The kids menu is great and the place even has a little arcade area (a few games) to keep the kids occupied so you can enjoy your burger. read more

I am pleasantly surprised Fuddruckers hasn't changed since I was a kid! I used to go to the location near my house in CA all the time and have fond memories of going after softball games with my friends or with my family. Coming to this location is new to me and I haven't been in a loooong time, but this doesn't disappoint. I ordered a 2/3 burger thinking they would smash the flavor out of it, but nope! Fuddruckers is like an elevated Five Guys; you get to order a hamburger and then add condiments to it at an island near where you pick up your order. The toppings bar was good with fresh produce to choose from to add to the hamburgers. One of the first things that I noticed was that the bun has more shape to it than a lot of other burger places, which is nice and prevents the burger from being too limp. Although our order was messed up a few times, they went through efforts to try to remedy it as quickly as possible. The milkshake was good, but next time I would prefer it without whip cream as too much is added and tends to overwhelm. The fries are cut on the larger side if you prefer that but they're pretty salty. read more

Amazing. This is a little further than the Woodbridge one from me in Burke but so worth it. They were really fast, very clean. Everything was cooked perfect. We went here, my husband me and our toddler and all ordered the cheeseburger. My toddler was excited to eat the burger but stopped eating after finishing only a quarter of her burger. My husband and I finished ours and immediately my toddler started to throw up right in her seat. It was a horrible sight. My husband ran straight to the restroom as he was sick as well. When prompted with the question of "Where should our engine and ambulance go for a crew dinner?" I was thinking something light. Say... Robek's or Wegman's or something, where I could get a salad or smoothie. I'm not sure whom, but someone else chimed in, "I could go for Fudd's." End of story. Being a first time Fudd-er, it took a couple moments to understand how the system worked. Apparently one orders at the cashier counter first, picks up one's milkshake (if they got one, and you -should- get one), then waits around with buzzer in hand for your burger to come off the manufacturing line. That's fine. I went and snagged my shake first, and immediately discovered that I apparently couldn't generate enough vacuum to get at it through the straw. More on this later. After grabbing my basic burger (mine was just a bun and a patty of medium cooked meat), I went over to the self-serve toppings bar, which was really kind of sad. The ketchup dispenser was apparently out. This was at the time of the salmonella scare, so there were no tomatoes. I slapped on some lettuce and pickles and called it "good enough." All in all, not an awful burger, but not worth whatever $6-$7 I paid for it. About halfway through, we got punched out for an inside gas leak call. An hour later, after we had checked out our patients and they declined a luxurious trip in the back of our bus to the local hospital, I finally got back to my milkshake, which had been sitting, patiently sweating for me in the ambulance cup-holder. Perfect. Consistency! Chocolate-y and fudge-y, smooth and frosty, with sporadic clumps of extra-cold remnants, I was in dairy-induced bliss. Lesson learned: the burgers might not be special, but a Fudd's milkshake defrosted in the cab of an ambulance for an hour is a wonder of culinary pleasure. read more

I've never been to a Fuddruckers before and so the entire layout of the place just confused me a bit. This is a family-oriented restaurant where you order up at the counter and given a buzzer to pick up your food when it's ready. Dress your burgers to your liking with the toppings bar and seat yourself. The toppings bar looked pretty fresh and I like how you can dress your burger up to your liking. Fudd's offers a few exotic burger meats and this Ashburn location only offers Elk, Bison, and Wild Boar (they don't do ostrich anymore). SX tried the wild boar and I had the elk. You can cook to order, but I found that my burger arrived overcooked. The wild boar had a lot more flavor and was a lot more tastier than the elk. Both of these burgers came on wheat buns, which I really enjoyed too. These burgers are pretty hefty in weight and size. In addition to the toppings bar, you can order your burger with specialty set toppings for about 99 cents more (like bacon, gauc, cheeses). Poker was being played in half the restaurant. read more

We're in love with Fuddruckers!!! Our parents are big OG fan of this burger franchise not only because the big meaty burger its offer but also the 70s vibes. We came in today got 4 burgers, one adult chicken tenders, one onions rings and some wedge fries with normal French fries as well. The 2/3 burger are an decent size for hunger who craving for the in n out taste in VA. You can cut it in half and will fill up 2 people. I can't even finish the 2/3 meat ugh so good but too large!!! The medium rare beef is so comforting and earthy, and besides the buns are insanely soft!!! I'm not overrated this but THIS IS GOOD STUFF! They also offer side veggies like lettuce, tomato, onion or tons of pickle/salsa more and more. They have many condiments like others burger but in big container instead of sauce packages. We heard they're closing the business and feel really bad about such a good burger and environment. Will forever support this and yes they do offer tons of coupons and senior discount! First time to a Fuddruckers since the one in Herndon closed many years ago. Came across this one (Ashburn) and had to try it for old time's sake. All I can say is SENSATIONAL!!! I don't usually post on Yelp, but this was the BEST burger restaurant experience I've EVER had. First, we had the fried mozzerella sticks which were battered in delicious herbed breadcrumbs. Only one small marinara dip sprinkles with grated parmesan, but not enough for whole serving - ask for extra. The cheeseburger called THE WORKS - so delicious, hot, juicy, nice slices of bacon. Homemade butter buns toasted nicely and delicious! Onion rings and fries were equally fantastic! Thick, creamy chocolate shake delivered to the table with extra in mixing container. Excellent service from the super-friendly staff. This Fuddy's is going to be a weekly regular from now on!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! A+++ read more

I ordered a 1/3 lb. cheeseburger and skinny fries. The burger was cooked exactly as I requested and was complemented by the many fresh items on the fixings bar. The portion of the fries was ample. I'd give the food a 4.5 stars. HOWEVER...as much as I tried to overlook the loud, hard-driving music, I could not. I didn't expect to hear classical instrumental music (!) but the near-screaming, electric guitar music was relentless. As a result, I did not enjoy my meal. I asked one of the attendants who was clearing a nearby table if they had other music or if this selection was the usual. He said the current music was what is always played. I use to go yo Fuddruckers all the time when I was in high school. I've recently rekindled my fondness for the chain. The burgers are consistently good, if a touch bland.
