Found this place by accident looking for a bougie cup of coffee... this is not that place. Instead we found a simply delicious home cooked breakfast at a reasonable price and friendly atmosphere. Immediately walked in, greeted with a smile and conversation. A booth opened up and we ordered: Two coffees, waters, a breakfast burrito, hashbrowns and bacon, egg and cheese on wheat toast. We are so so full and it cost about $24. Stop in and eat at Joe's. If your business, military service, law enforcement etc trades coins/patches- their walls are covered in patches and coins. My sister and I went here for the first time. Right away we noticed the super friendly staff and lots of regulars. The atmosphere is like an old fashioned diner. The menu is large which is typical of diner fare. I couldn't resist getting the Philly cheesesteak but also had to try their tuna fish. I had a side of cole slaw too. We both had coffee which was excellent. The cheesesteak was excellent, hot, tasty and juicy. The coleslaw had a nice blend of crunch and tang. The tuna salad had a deli feel to it. Not the everyday tuna out of a can. My sister got two eggs over easy, lots of perfectly cooked bacon, buttered toast and grits. All delicious. Loved this place! read more

Look up the definition of a Diner in the dictionary??? There's a picture of Joe's Cafe. My local buddy's favorite breakfast place and HALLELUJAH, what a gem! I wish we had a Joe's in Reno, but I would end up weighing 300 pounds! First of all, thanks to Helen and the incredibly helpful and friendly staff for enhancing the experience and making my breakfast just that much better. Just walking in you knew you would be leaving full, content and happy (and ready for a mid morning nap)! The food was exactly what I was hoping for and actually expected. My buddy Mike had a Denver Omelette with Hash Browns and Rye Toast and I had a Cheddar Cheese, Mushroom and Bacon Omelette, also with Rye. I also got a side of Sausage Gravy for my Crispy Browns. Pure yummalishous! We all have our favorite "type" of Omelette and this was mine. Thin, not fluffy eggs, LOTS of fixins' and gooey melted cheese. I forgot we also got a side of pancakes and some scrapple! Yes, we literally pigged out! Cant wait to say hi to the crew next month when I return... and enjoy another great meal! My wife and I had brunch there on 6/28/2026. She had bacon, eggs and pancakes. Bacon nice and crispy, eggs perfectly cooked. Pancakes nice and fluffy. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage. I loved it. It's very flavorful, great balance between the eggs and other ingredients. I had the breakfast potatoes and sausage in mine. There are other options. I also had the corned beef hash. It had a nice texture from the grill, the corned beef added some saltiness to the dish. A very good meal. I recommend the breakfast burrito. Im not sure I'd recommend the corned beef hash, it was tasty but not homemade. They dont advertise it as being homemade. read more

Real honest fare, real people, local family business. Not a franchise with trendy names for menu items or corporate kitchen created food that's passed through a focus group. (Bronzed bread instead of toast?). Sign on the wall says "No WiFi. Talk to each other!" On busy weekends Joe is at the door handling the wait list with and dishing out wisecracks. Breakfast all day. If this place is always this busy, it's for a good reason. I've been defeated by the weekend crowds at this restaurant too many times! But a Monday morning visit proved the hype is real. Even though it was busy, we were seated within 15 minutes The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The whole place was spotlessly clean as the staff would ensure to clean tables immediately clients left. The food was truly fresh and delicious. Came for breakfast and I ordered the country fried steak($13). The eggs were cooked to over medium and the potatoes were crispy. The country fried steak had a nice and savory gravy to it. The dinner had a really good breakfast vibes and ended up getting much busier as I left. For a spot in Nova, I was quite surprised that the prices were actually cheaper compared to other spots in the area. Definitely a great brunch and dinner spot to check out!! Another great meal!!! We make a tradition every year to visit Joe's. We come to the DC area and with all the choices, Joe's is our favorite for breakfast!!! The service is always excellent , the food is delicious and dependable! We've been coming to Joes for 5 years now and although it's a 5 hour drive it's worth it! We typically get the same thing I get the Nora breakfast and my husband will get an omelette of some kind . This last time he got the Greek and he loved it ! This is the kind of diner and breakfast I'm always looking for. I had a feeling I might be in the right place when I walked in at 9:45 on a Friday and the place was full. I heard waitstaff greeting regulars by name. I went with my usual 2-egg breakfast. Lots of places have good bacon and/or eggs. A fair number have good bread. But perfect home fries are hard to come by. These we the exact right combination of tender inside and crispy outside. There was some well-cooked onion adding flavor. Stopped here yesterday, for the first time, for breakfast. Everyone was so welcoming and sweet. I ordered French toast with bananas, sausage links, and scrambled eggs. I enjoyed them all, and thought the portions were very generous. My only critique would be to serve warm syrup instead of the square packaged syrup. The coffee was very good as well. My SO thought his waffle was tasty. I think they only serve breakfast and lunch. The restaurant feels like a neighborhood coffee shop. Lots of local touches in the decor. I've been here a couple of times. Both times I went here, I went at not peak eating times. It was busy both times. When I walked in the (what I assume to be) owner kind of harshly asked how many in my group. The inside and menu reminded me of an old timey diner. I like the open kitchen so if you have a close enough seat you can see them cooking your food. I love me a good breakfast. I am also a sucker for a really good eggs Benedict. So the first time I went here I tried it. I was disappointed with the eggs bene. The sauce was just not good. I also ordered a pancake, instead of the potato side, and was not a fan. The pancake mix obviously has cinnamon in it and I'm not a big cinnamon fan. If you like cinnamon you'll like the pancakes for sure. It's just not my thing. The second time I went here I ordered an omelet with no substitutions. It was actually really good. I guess next time I'll stick to the more plain items. The service can get slow at times. Both times I was here I had to wait quite a while to get a refill on both coffee and water. I guess this should be expected though because of the volume of customers. One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to would have someone walk around with a coffee pot and pitcher of water like every 5 minutes. This place is a gem! If you're looking for solid, home-cooked meals, this is the spot. What makes me give a full star review? Excellent customer service! We walked in today being a busy Saturday and expected a long wait. We were promptly acknowledged and seated in less than 10 minutes. Prompt service, and staff is so attentive anticipating my needs which I deeply appreciate as a customer. I love diners like this but they're hard to find. Rami the owner is an absolute delight to meet, first time here at Joe's (Rami's uncle) Cafe. You can tell this place that opened in 2019, offers what others come back time and time again - long line of wait at 9:30am on a Saturday. Rami makes sure that he calls his customers by name, engages them while waiting. Now how's the food? Definitely everything is delicious! I wanted a birthday breakfast out, and we hadn't tried Joe's yet, so we showed up around 8:30 on a Sunday morning. Although it was pretty full already, we were seated quickly in a booth as opposed to one of the long tables, which I was grateful for. I prefer the coziness of a booth. Hubs went for his usual fare of eggs, bacon, hash browns, and some French toast, which I tried and it was delicious. He was happy with his meal. The iced tea tasted like coffee (even made hubs try it to be sure I wasn't imagining things) and then I guess all the staff was tasting it too. They apologized and I got a Diet Pepsi instead while they re-made their iced tea. They didn't know how that happened, but I'm assuming that's not an every day occurrence. I had the huevos rancheros, and enjoyed the potatoes with it. Everything was delicious, and the prices were par with most diners these days. I will definitely be back at some point soon! read more

Just minutes from Dulles Airport, we needed breakfast after taking a red eye from Phoenix. Local Yelpers to the rescue! Joe's Cafe came highly rated. We pulled in about 9:30 to find they were pretty busy. We were seated in a minute and enjoyed much needed coffee while viewing the menu. I settled on one of my old stand bys, a breakfast burrito. Breakfast burritos vary greatly from place to place, so I was curious to see how this one measured up. I was not disappointed. This is made with scrambled eggs, potatoes and cheese, choice of chorizo, bacon, ham, or sausage. I chose hashbrowns for the potato and chorizo for the meat. This was all nicely wrapped in a flour tortilla and slightly grilled. They provided a homemade salsa, which was flavourful and respects a sensitive palate. This breakfast burrito really hit the spot. The only negative is that it was a little greasy from the chorizo. If some of that could have been removed, that would have been the perfect breakfast burrito. read more

We were looking for a place to eat a late breakfast in the Sterling/Ashburn area and heard good things about Joe's Cafe. It's located in a non descript shopping center, plenty of parking. Walking in, this looks exactly like what your typical diner looks like. It was late lunch in the afternoon, yet there was a short wait. Luckily, we got a couple of seats at the bar. Despite being a little slammed, they got to us quickly to take our order. We got a Nora's Combo (with a pecan waffle, sausage, and hash browns) and Huevos Rancheros. Food came out quick and looked great, again what you would expect from a diner. Food was solid all around, no complaints, especially the waffle. Of course the stuff needed a little hot sauce but it was good. Bill was very reasonable so that alone makes me want to come back but the food is solid as well. Definitely get a waffle! read more

The atmosphere reminds me of those old comfy diners back in the day where everyone knew each other and strangers are warmly greeted and welcomed. The down side is the parking. This little gem shares the parking lot with several other businesses in a strip mall type of area and it is normally packed all the time. I don't have enough words or even the ability to really express how amazing this cafe is. I placed a really large order with Joe's Cafe for one of the data centers nearby. Rami, the owner, was telling me about how as much as he would love to take my order, it was just too large. And he was right, so I condensed it down as much as possible & Rami took my order. Not only was he so amazing to work with, I got to visit the cafe when I was dropping off our payment. The cafe is constantly busy, to the point of people waiting for a seat even on a weekday! The servers were on another level; they were so friendly and personable. They smiled at everyone & took the time to greet them. Some people were regulars because you could just tell based on the way they interacted. Rami, himself, was delivering orders or even taking orders. This small cafe is such a well oiled machine, I honestly couldn't wait for them to deliver the 250 sandwiches, 250 burritos and 10 large trays of chorizo eggs with cheese. (which I'm sure has been mentioned several times, their chorizo is made in house) When the food arrived & we started setting up, some of the guys were a little curious as to what we bought. I had one guy ask me where we purchased breakfast from today & when I told him Joe's Cafe, his eyes lit up. Rami set us up with a plethora of sandwiches and burritos with different fillings & bread types. I had some guys try to grab several at once!! The chorizo eggs with cheese was such a huge hit, we went through trays and trays of the eggs.
