They have a great selection of burgers and hot dogs with options to customize your bun, toppings, and doneness. We ordered two classic cheeseburgers on brioche rolls and split an order of the loaded fries. The food quality was great! The ingredients were fresh and much better than you would get at a chain restaurant. The loaded fries were filling and delicious too! Stumbled upon this spot after a coffee run and exploration day in the area. I immediately went to yelp and saw they had 1k reviews so thought why not give it a try. And we needed something quick as traveling with a baby equals time crunch. So let's get to it. There's a small parking lot and seating inside and out (picnic style tables). I got sliders and my significant other got a personalized burger. In addition we also got chili cheese fries and tater tots. We had to get this to go so I was quite happy with the temperature and taste when we got home. Surprisingly all the food maintained its quality and warmth on a 20 min ride. We both really enjoyed the burgers and I was surprised by the sliders. Most sliders don't fill me and I feel it's always missing something. These mini burgers were super filling and felt like I didn't have to miss eating a big burger. We both enjoyed our sides. I think my significant other heated up the fries later in the evening and said it was still pretty good. Went to the burger shack for a quick lunch while on break from work. It definitely hit the spot for a solid burger, the food came out quick and fresh and tasted great. Would def go back as they have overall good food. I was not impressed by the burger shack. It was overpriced and the food was mediocre. The lettuce on my burger was incredibly soggy. The burger was also incredibly greasy and oily. My girlfriend ordered a hot dog which was not cooked well and had poor flavor. The service was ok. The restaurant itself is incredibly tiny and they did not have the heat on. I have read all previous reviews. I did the build your own burger and got the 10oz beef patty, medium, with a few toppings and a gluten free bun. I do not feel that the burger was bland as previous reviews mentioned, but it wasn't the best burger/melt in your mouth burger/with lots of flavor either. For the price, it was not worth it to me. But I am not saying that the burger was bad. It was cooked as requested. I also ordered macaroni bites. It was interesting. Not oily or a bad taste. It was a decent size for a few pieces but I don't think it is something I would pay for again as much as I paid for. The staff is nice and appear to be hard working. Establishment was clean with a decent size seating area. I can agree that the parking lot is super tight and in a congested area as far as roads go. Loved this place so much the first time, that I had to go back. Unfortunately I wish I had just quit at the first visit. This past visit I was left disappointed and unlikely to return. I typically love Parmesan Garlic fries. But I was left disgusted with the soggy fries with garlic (literally) seeping out. I also think they mixed up my boyfriend and my burger. He orders his medium with pink, while I am more a well done with no pink. We both received burgers that were not cooked to our requests. My last time I visited I got my same order but they had served it without the jalapeño cheddar bun (which is the best part of the burger) and I asked why there was no jalapeño cheddar bun and they said they didn't have it which I said okay to. I just visited today to find out that they don't serve the jalapeño cheddar bun at all anymore! Our family go-to for burgers! In a historic building, the indoor dining is pretty small. Only about 6-7 tables. But they have some outdoor tables as well which is great for a nice day.
