The hamburgers here are really good. The buns are cooked fresh and they have fresh ingredients laid out. One thing I don't like is they have all the sauces laid out for you to Access except for Ranch you have to go ask for it every time it's annoying. Their onion rings and baked potatoes are great! Their iced tea is a little weak for my taste. My least favorite thing about Fuddruckers is the price. They charge you for every little thing. This was my first visit to a Fuddruckers and a great overall experience. Warning - the 2/3 burger is huge, please review the patty sizes beneath the menu. I did not - I was not dissappointed, but I was past full before I finished. The concept of a topping bar is amazing and why don't more places do something like it? I loved the ability to customize my burger past the basic "veggies" that most places toss on every burger they make. They even had options for white and red onions, and diced or sliced. I generally have problems with sliced onions, so being able to put diced made my whole day right there. Everything was very fresh, crisp and tasted amazing. They were constantly upkeeping the toppings while we were there to make sure nothing got low. Really enjoyed the (hand cut?) potato wedges, and with cheese sauce part of the buffet that was a nice treat. We sat down with a view of their dessert area, and I am still sad that I didn't have room left for a piece of pie, or milk shake. I was facinated to discover that they bake all their own buns and bread there, and you could buy a loaf, or baker's dozen buns if you were so inclined. I might consider it based on how excellent everything tasted, if I lived nearby anyway. At the end of our meal when our dishes were being cleared we were offered to-go cups for our soda (refills were self serve and free to start with), and he brought cups over for us right away. Stopped here when we were in town for an event. Had a table full of kids and feeding them, didn't notice until half way through my burger it was completely raw. The chicken strips were so hard it was difficult to break through the breading with my teeth. Showed the kitchen my burger, they said, "huh, do you want another one?" This location never ceases to impress. The staff is always friendly and courteous and the food is consistently good. We often grab takeout from here instead of eating at the restaurant since we live close by, but the restaurant has ample seating and even an arcade area to entertain the kiddos. The burgers are always great but I also really enjoy the chicken Caesar salad and the nachos. The veggie toppings bar is always fresh and has a great selection of items for your burger or whatever you might order. They have a full bakery that offers sweet treats as well as ice cream and milkshakes. The restaurant also has a cabaret license so you can enjoy a beer or glass of wine with your meal. Immediately upon walking in you could feel the tension in the air. all the employees in the kitchen screaming, arguing, and swearing. The assistant manager was yelling at everyone and telling them they don't get bathroom breaks anymore. They were all mad at each other. It's was so distracting I couldn't even read the menu to decide what to order. What a crap show! Also, the assistant manager seemed to be itching the inside of his nose and then cooking food. No hair nets being worn...and lots of sweating. Almost half of the tables were dirty. Food was ok but incorrect. Onion Rings we're not even warm. I wouldn't recommend coming here with this team here. Disappointed with milkshakes. It used to be that customer received a milkshake poured into a glass, with the extra as a bonus in the metal container. No more. Now it's just the metal container half full, which is quite a bit less. Very poor value for $7. I asked the attendant if we could get the whip cream and cherry on top, and She said they had no clean glasses. Very lame excuse. She also said that the smaller portion was a management decision, as they were giving away too much ice cream. Hard to believe that the $7 cost wouldn't justify a little more ice cream. It's no secret that Fudruckers is a massive chain. Meanwhile, we found more value in this location than many on the West Coast that seem average. Where else (at a chain) can you get a quality elk or bison burger? Or a thick half-pound beef patty? For someone looking for a burger you can expect several things from this chain: to pay more than the fast-food restaurants, expect quality beef and game meat, premium toppings and to wait 15 minutes for the meal to be ready. To me, none of those are bad things. Sure, you're going to pay more here, but you'll also get a larger burger packed with flavor and strong premium toppings. The fries are average. It's simple: if you want to go someplace for dinner with the family there will be plenty of burgers waiting for you here, and they'll taste good. The restaurant is a spacious place that also makes good (and big portioned) desserts. Even though it's a large chain there's few negatives that stick out, perhaps only big, juicy burgers that tend to make you so stuffed that you can't finish your fries. This is not fast food, this is not saving your money. You pay for what you get and its well worth it! Don't read the negative reviews , they are haters and their taste buds are only toward peasant fast food lol. The best time to come here is for lunch. Service is very quick and there is a lot of tables available to eat at. The elk and bison buffalo burgers are the bomb. The beef steak noodle soup is a real tasty bite here as well. The chocolate pie is also to die for. This is a great place to bring your family. There is a wonderful atmosphere here for all ages. There is alcohol for adults, games for the kids, music and tv entertainment, and outstanding food and dessert for everyone. The cashier was very nice and gave my family two complimentary cups of coffee. There are very sweet people that work here. As a local beef rancher I'm pretty picky with my burgers. Fuds makes a good one. The buns are made in house and are dense but don't overwhelm the burger/bun ratio. The toppings are varied, always cold, and the area around them clean. Nothing worse than seeing toppings strewn around the area and spoons in the sauces. Not so here. Have probably eaten over 30 beef burgers there but had my first elk burger today. My favorite is the hangover but lately I've just been getting the plain 1/2lb and enjoying the complimentary A1 sauce with different toppings. To do a good job of cooking the burgers to requested "doneness" a rare thing in the meat industry anymore Todd The general manager checked us out today. Big portions- burgers are great but my favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich, or the fish sandwich. Needed a quick lunch between appointments and this place was convenient. Have eaten here a few times over the years, and it always satisfies. I really like the way they cook your burger to order...in my case slightly pink in the middle. I had 1/2 pound Bacon Cheddar Burger with Wedge Fries. My poor wife just had a tooth pulled and I had to downplay how good it was as she wistfully watched me devour my lunch. My guilt abounded. She had a Wilcoxon milk shake for her lunch and moaned for hours over my talents as a torturer. My guilt elevated as the day progressed. I felt so bad, I almost regretted my awesome lunch... almost. The burger was moist, flavorful, and perfectly pink. The accompanying wedge fries were properly seasoned and a great addition to my burger. The clean condiment bar was laden with fresh veggies and allows you to customize your sandwich as desired. Good tasting food, however I believe they use fillers or possibly sugar in the patty. We had been driving across the Northwest US, sticking with McDonald's burgers for our lunches. I'm on a low carb diet, as I have metabolic syndrome. McD's burgers never triggered a reaction while we were driving, 2 Angus burgers would keep me going for 8-10 hours (no bun, mayo, etc. I just eat the meat). We decided to try Fudd's in Great Falls because they promise 100% beef as does McD's. But ten minutes after eating 2/3 lb burger (no bun, condiments, etc, just the patty), I had a pretty strong carb reaction. The burger was quite tasty, but if you are like me or you are on Atkins or some other low carb diet, you should stick to McD's beef which is just beef. (fyi McD's does add salt and pepper when cooking though, but no sugar or any carbie stuff). read more

I love a good messy hamburger and this place has it. The restaurant is clean and they keep it up with bus boys working hard. The dress your burger bar is fresh and kept filled, has everything you could imagine to put on a burger. They also have a dessert/bakery to get ice cream, cookies etc. Salads are available and look delicious, if I could get past the great burger. Great food as usual, but I wanted to comment on the exceptional service we received from Kenneth. I was impressed by how helpful he was by filling our drinks and taking our finished baskets. I am fairly certain this has never happened to me at any restaurant that didn't have waiter service. He had incredible customer service skills!! Right after we finished eating I took my daughter to the arcade portion and my daughter played the crane game and won a stuffed animal, but it got stuck in the crane. I tried bumping the machine and the animal wouldn't drop. Kenneth came over and got the stuffed animal out and my daughter was thrilled! My family and I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago and we were not impressed. I make a better burger than this place does! The meat wasn't seasoned and the fries were bland. Everything was great staff was friendly and the food was great. The chocolate shakes are amazing they have an arcade for the kids. It is expensive (I think) but I think u get what u pay for. My hamburger was so juicy & flavorful, yummy!! The best hamburger I've ever had & I've eaten spot if hamburgers :) even the chain hamburger place Red Robin can't top the burger I had here. My onion rings were nice & crispy, the staff at the counter was very helpful & friendly & the guy who refilled my drink & cleaned up the tables was very friendly & personable.
