We also got four large pizzas to go--Thai, Sequoia, Hot Hawaiian, and another I can't quite recall--but the Thai pizza was the star. Sorry to give a bad review I know it's sad to give a bad review in a town that doesn't have very many good choices and I love Great Falls and many ways but the restaurants here have a lot to be desired The service was perfect, I will let at least admit that the server was very attentive I think a restaurant that specializes in pizza should do a much better job The crust basically had no flavor and the sauce had an aftertaste I could not describe. Absolutely the best thin crust pizza I have ever had. After driving by this place numerous times we decided to have dinner there. Wise decision. Sage was our server, very friendly and efficient. Oh this is one of those menus where we want to try one of everything. We started with the beet salad, which we shared. It was very good. Then we ordered the Brussels sprouts. They actually came to our table after our pizzas, and our server talked to the manager who comped them for us. We had mixed reactions to the sprouts - the Hubbs loved the char on the edges, which I disliked. I'm not sure the sauce added value. But the pizza! Oh we loved those! We ended up with a large - 1/2 Polynesian and 1/2 Stockman. Both were delicious! And we still had plenty to take home. Our server was very helpful - and patient on a very busy night. In the past year or so we've started getting food from here again, but only for takeout. The food is excellent and the staff we encounter are very friendly. The menu has changed since they reopened (pandemic) and prices have gone up a bit. Make sure you order to give yourself an extra 15 minutes before you need to pick up; orders are rarely ready at the time requested. The app works well and we like the random offers that pop up. You can earn points toward free food, too. My wife went for dine-in at lunchtime about a month ago with a group of colleagues. It was during a conference so there were lots of other attendees who also dined here as well. Several tables that were seated after they ordered were served first and they ended up being there over an hour. The server never offered any explanation or apology for the delay. The menu is SUPER extensive and everything is really good - with solid portion sizes -- you won't leave hungry. I would probably go here once a week if I lived in the area. I cannot recommend this place highly enough if you like pizza and beer. They have many different types of vinaigrettes to try. It was delicious! The portions were huge and they were not skimpy with all the toppings! You can order either a large or small salad, if you're not hungry I would recommend the small. The service was pretty quick and the ambiance was pretty dark. Traveling from Dallas, Texas to Fairbanks Alaska allowed us to sample restaurants in our overnight stays. This was day four. The drive had been a good one, but we were ready to return to the hotel, get some sleep and head for the border the following day. The reason, and only reason, this is a four star and not a five star rating is that the hostess seemed miffed when I asked not to be sat at the very front of the restaurant's entry. She had everyone cramped into booths that were a bit dark near the kitchen and would not sit folks by the lovely windows that overlooked the river. Pity. We ordered a house salad and nachos to share. The salad had a wide range of choices of unique dressings and we opted to try the Greek feta and the white balsamic vinegar dressings on the side. I still cannot tell you which was the best! The unusual house salad with grape nuts and pears is a repeat experience for sure. Our waitress was helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and the area. She was the right amount of attentive--not hard to find when drinks needed refilling nor hovering. Perfect. Our nachos were topped with pulled pork and made A complete meal for the two of us. A true Montana landmark even though it is a local chain. Only place I've ever been where they serve fresh, wild-caught trout on pizza! I've made a point to try a different salad each time and I couldn't come up with a favorite as they were all superb! Their sauce is not authentic- Italia, but it's way better than the revolting sauce at Pizza Hut, Domino's, etc... Decor is old time Montana with modern accents. My Wife and her friend spoke highly of this spot and we stopped here for a dinner late and it was surprisingly busy for it being late and on a weekday evening. The table shared an order of Lodgepoles which is basically breadsticks with cheese on top. It says they're served with marinara, but our server also brought a side of ranch. We all thought they were a decent breadstick. They were cheesy, soft, and had a hint of garlic which I liked. My Wife ordered the chicken Caesar wrap that came with a side of blue tortilla chips. The wrap itself was tasty and my Wife said she'd happily order it again. Our friend went with the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich which was a nice sized sandwich packed with turkey. She said that that's her go-to and she's always enjoyed it. I went with the Rancher pizza (ground beef, pepperoni, red onions, and peppers). You can get the pies with their usual house crust or a thin crust and our server suggested the thin. The pizza overall was a good pie. They didn't skimp with the toppings and I really liked how they used red onions instead of the usual white. It added a nice contrast that made their pizza a bit different. My biggest gripe is that the thin crust had an unusual texture that I didn't care for. In particular, when you reached the back crust of the pizza, it broke apart almost like a cracker and that's the only thing I wasn't a fan of. I'd go back, but I'd want to try the regular crust to see if I like that better. I had the Mack Lovin' for dessert, which is a chocolate chip cookie in a skillet with vanilla ice cream on top. In the words of Ralph Wiggum, it "tasted like burning" as the cookie and skillet were extremely hot. I hold myself responsible for that since it's advertised as being 'piping hot'. That isn't a lie. The cookie was pretty generic, but a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream on it doesn't need to be fancy in order to taste good. My Wife and I both would easily stop back here and they may be a good spot if you're in a larger group since they offer pizza, wraps, pasta, flatbread, and salads. They also have a pretty big range of pizza types such as a BBQ pork, Thai, jalapeño popper, and the like. read more

We love the chain, but this location doesn't make the cut. The chicken flatbread was buried in ranch dressing, and the bread was more like a cracker. My Caesar salad w chicken was just as drenched in dressing, the chicken was dry and some of the lettuce was wilted. The server was actually unfriendly. Bread stick was super dry with a lot of flour on the outside. I give two stars bc the Greek salad was just as good as we find it at other locations. read more

MacKenzie River pizza was a memorable meal for us on our visit to Great Falls this week. We enjoyed very delicious thin and regular crust pizzas including their Good Ol Boy (pepperoni), margarita and the MacKenzie River combos.
