I see lots of wood and reeds, carefully arranged to give the impression that I have walked in off the street of small town Iowa and into someone's private hunting club. Frankly, it's a quirky ambiance. With that said, while it wasn't my cup of tea, the food was actually pretty tasty if not particularly special. I had the ribs and wings combo (bourbon sauce on both) and the soup of the day: chicken tortilla. The soup was actually quite good, but the wings were a tad dry. The ribs were fine--reminded me of Famous Dave's. The wait staff were friendly but not all that attentive. We waited a long time for the bill and drink refills. Give it a try if you are passing through and want to skip the 100th Pizza Ranch seen on the trip.
