I called over the waitress, who immediately retrieved the plate and brought me another. It was just as bad. I had to saw through all the fat to retrieve a small portion of meat. The worst money I've ever spent. When the waitress asked me how everything was, I told her it was horrible and that I wished I'd ordered something else. She was indifferent. I would have thought she would have offered some reduction from our $400 family bill, but nope. I won't ever eat there again. If you do, regardless of their hype, stay away from their "speciality," the beef rib.

It is about a five minute walk to or from the busy beach area where all of the popular beach clubs are located. The restaurant ambiance is awesome at night; fantastic lighting in an open air dinning environment. They also have chill live entertainment. Regarding the food, it was delicious. We ordered the rib eye steak plate, which came with vegetables and thinly sliced potatoes. We also ordered a lobster tail. House bread was complimentary, and it was very good. Our order was enough for us to share. Both the steak and lobster were cooked perfectly. Chamuyo also has a full bar, Mexican beers, and a few IPA selections. Regarding the service, it was excellent.
