Like the other reviews you must meet Eduardo he is great at what he does. He recommended the meat platter for two, it consisted of rib eye, chorizo, skirt steak, NY steak and Argentina sausage. INCREDIBLE meal! The portions are beyond generous and expertly seasoned. The chimichurri was even tastier the following day. The food was superb but the added gem was Eduardo. Ordered the meat platter. Very underwhelming. The meat was not seasoned and was just grilled. So a few things to note... if you have a fatty cut. It's better to do medium to medium well so the fat could melt into the meat. If it's a lean cut then it's better to do rare. When you ask them for best ways to cook it. They throw a blanket rare statement on it. Which is far from true. 2 stars cause staff is nice and good vibes. But not worth visiting. An all you can eat steak place in the US would be better. read more

This steak house was fantastic! Coming from our all-inclusive resort with old food, Patagonia's food was such a relief. We got a "meal for 2" and it ended up being enough for 4 people + an appetizer + 6 water bottles for $53 US Dollars. This is well worth the trip and we WILL come back next time we are in Cabo. Only negative for me was the women's bathroom: the top of it is open to the restaurant. Not enough to drop it down to 5 stars, though. Thank you for the great service! This place is hidden in a residential neighborhood so it doesn't get a lot of traffic compared to the other restaurants by the pier. Nevertheless the quality is excellent. My party of four ordered the Grilled Gran Patagonia and a grilled veggies for two from the menu. We're thinking we just want to taste some Argentinian steaks and we can eat else where if we're still hungry. But the portions were so big that we had to pack the leftover to go. The food and service was superb. After dinner the waiter offered tequila shots on the house. We couldn't say no. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in Cabo again. read more

If you want a great steak, this is a place to get one. We really enjoyed our grilled steak and order of grilled vegetables, chased down with a pleasant house wine and a beer for the wife. The service was excellent. Everyone spoke English and Spanish with good humor in both. The cook took pride in his work making the steak to perfection. We were excited when we saw the raw steak come out from behind the counter so we went over to the BBQ area, and he let us take some awesome photos together with his knife and the steak we were about to eat cooking in the background. My fiance and I ordered the 2 lbs steak dinner for 2 people rare. We love steak and can eat a lot of it. The steak for two came with enough meat that we were forced to take some home in a box. Stopped by this restaurant when my friends and I were in Cabo. My friends was very intrigued to try this spot out because the pictures on yelp looks delicious! We ordered the parillada gran Patagonia and it was a mixture of steak, sausage and short ribs and a side of fries. We also ordered the empanada. The empanada was not good and was not really appetizing, but their chimichurri and white sauce made it taste better. When the parillada gran Patagonia arrived, it came out on a sizzling stove. Some of the meats were amazing, but what made this experienced bad was because there was a meat in the sizzling plate that had probably gone bad. The reason for that is because when we ate the steak it had a very foul odor/stench. After we took a bite of that, we just stopped eating. We went back to our resort after and a few hours later our stomach was killing us (probably food poisoning). read more

This is literally the best steak/meat I've eaten in my 25 years of life. Although it is quite possible that I've just had really bad meat thus far, I'd like to think otherwise. I think my friends and I initially found this restaurant through another site which claimed it was pricey (with $$$) but if you order correctly, which we did thanks to our wonderful waiter, you pay so much less for the best tasting meat ever! We tipped heavily (and I rarely do that) because we thought everything was SO worth it. We went to Patagonia to celebrate the end of our Cabo trip. We were sick of eating tacos, so we decided to end with a bang and we were all so glad we chose this place. We left with our stomachs and souls so very satisfied. I first tried this amazing place as I had been told it was as good or better than Ruths Chris, and with a much better price! Boy, it is amazing! It has become one of my "must do" dinners when I am in Cabo! It is small, cozy, with great service and amazing food! If you want something special-this is a must do when you are there! Most of their meals are very large, but I have discovered I can actually finish the filet! Anything else and I have a to go box for the next day! You must ask for Eduardo to serve you. He is the best. He helped us score a parking space and advised us on our steaks. The music is very LOUD 60's tunes but Eddy turned it down so we were able to have a convo. The other waiter continually turned it up LOUD again and again. But Eddy was our main man. I am a regular here having moved to Cabo San Lucas 6 months ago. This is the best place in town for a wonderful steak or anything else. My favourite is the fillet with pepper sauce and the veggie platter. Great personal service and good entertainment drops into the restaurant frequently..Its a must up the hill near Pedregal. My husband and I went to Cabo on our honeymoon this past October. We ended up chatting with a couple at the hotel we were staying at. They had told us that they visit the area often, and recommended Patagonia for dinner. Their description sounded like it was right up our alley! We took a short cab ride to the restaurant, where we were promptly greeted by two very polite and professional men who sat us in a quaint small restaurant and Recommended drinks and food dishes. ( this place is known for its enormous and delicious steaks!) the waiter pAired a bottle of wine with two steak dishes of our choice. Both came with salad and a baked potato and bread. They cook the steaks on an open rotating flame, In view of your table! Quite neat! Our dishes were brought out promptly and cooked to perfection! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was on par! The folks who reccomeded this to us, told us to ask the waiter to " take a shot of tequila with us!" - we asked and we received! Great place for some great food! My husband orders the short ribs and the order came with two and they were so large, he could only eat one (he took the other to the hotel and ate it for breakfast the next day). I had a delicious milanesa and would love to try many other dishes on this menu. It can be one of your more expensive meals on vacation, but careful ordering and not letting your eyes be larger than your stomach are all you need to do to keep the price in check. Delicious food, with giant serving sizes. Second time here, first time was a few years ago. Steak, grilled vegetables, salad, soup, and tequila were all fantastic, with reasonable prices.
