These guys do not care about you, your community or your time. They simply care about your dollars going into their pockets. Unless you need a specific or unique item i would not recommend this spot even if they were the only gas station for 5-10 miles.

The owner is always abrupt and unfriendly to cyclists, but will still try to rip us off for overpriced and often overripe bananas which he always suggests to buy at the checkout. He has a different bowl full of his older fruit which he puts on the counter instead of the regular ones before we walk in, just for cyclists. One time he insisted that my own Oakley sunglasses were from his own display stand and insisted on charging me $9.99 for them! His wife sits on a chair in the middle of the store perfectly positioned to observe people using the fountain drink machine at the back, just to check that you are not "stealing" too much ice for your bike bottles. No free refills here! She reminds me of an elementary school lunchtime monitor who doesn't trust any of the 7 year old kids. The cans of soda that used to be 99cents have gone up to $1.49 then $1.79 since COVID, and nothing has a price marked on it so he can (and does) charge us as high a price as he thinks he can get away with. He knows he has a captive city audience with expensive bikes, too much money and not caring about being ripped off with an attitude, as they keep coming back. Other stores are much cheaper by comparison. Today was the final straw for me. The outside temperature was mid 90s and our group of 20 or so cyclists visited the store for hydration and energy bars etc. I chose one of the few priced items which was a large soda fountain drink for $1.99 as I spend as little as possible here nowadays for obvious reasons. When I went to pay with my debit card, he asked me "Do you have cash?". I didn't and he pointed to a small dog eared sign on the counter that said "Minimum $3 card purchase". He insisted on the new soda price being $3 so I left the drink on the cash desk and started to walk out. He shouted after me to come back and pay for it, at which point I gave him a long overdue piece of my mind, then walked out. My colleagues still in there told me he had a foul mouthed rant, including mother****** about me after I left. The good news is that I am now "banned" from the store so I don't have to put up with this pushy, rude, thieving individual who hates all cyclists (but will gladly take all their money) ever again. Maybe we should all rethink our routes to avoid this place? We are not welcome, trust me.

I've complained about it but apparently they don't care. It's extremely annoying and invasive to have these ads screaming at you while you're pumping gas. I find this type of captive advertising unacceptable and I will no longer be getting gas or shopping there. They've lost my business.

They always have plenty of paper towels and squeegees available on both sides of every trash receptacle at every gas pump throughout their Texaco top tier gasoline and diesel pump stations. I like the sheer professionalism and quick checkout when you're short on time for chit chat. If you need a receipt for gas or diesel and if your pump doesn't have printer paper out at your pump outside, just go back inside with your pump number and the dollar amount of your purchase, whether you prepay inside or pay with a debit, credit, company, or prepaid cash card, the cashier inside the store will quickly print out a paper receipt for your purchase records. Oh what a feeling when employees really care about their customer's needs. They really come to work everyday starting at 6 a.m. with a smile on their faces, great work ethics, and superb dedication when doing a fine job for each and every customer because they really do care about a job well done!!

Drink some as we wait for our food to be made. The two people behind the actual chevron counter wanted to charge us for the original drinks (no big deal) and the additional refill charge like we brought in our own cups. I would understand if left and brought cups back. But I am not paying a refill fee for sitting there 5 minutes sipping my drink. I mean we even fill up there once a week in our 40 gallon van. They wait till we were trying to leave to then yell across the store even, just embarrassing for them. I feel sorry to no longer eat there but those two men behind the counter cost themselves customers who spend 300$ a week there over 1.50$ refills.
