I recently chose PAI Automotive for a needed car repair after posting a request online. PAI Automotive was the first to send a response and offered the best price. Francisco and his team diagnosed the problem and provided a thorough report to me that I could understand describing the issues and the recommended parts and procedures that were needed. I gave my approval, and they actually provide the courtesy to pick up the car at your home and then deliver it back to you at no additional fee! They called me to let me know how the repair job was going and provided the estimated time of completion. The also provide inspection services to pass the emission tests for your car registration. It was perfect timing as my car had failed a recent inspection. They diagnosed the emission sensor that was needed and had my car reinspected and provided the documentation I needed to get my new sticker. Other mechanics I had tried could not figure out what was needed.!!! So, my car was delivered to my home with the repairs completed and the inspection passed document to get my new tag. I will now continue to use PAI Automotive for all of my vehicle repair and maintenance and highly recommend them. read more

2nd review here. Had some parts changed on a subaru and then a BMW X5. They were good, efficient , timely and less expensive than the dealer of course. They are not gonna quote you rock bottom pricing but they are mid priced and they do the work . I had break fluid change and lower control arms replaced with solid rubber bushings and not the crappy hydraulic BMW Lower control arms that failed before. Get the parts and head here . read more

The headlights in my car was all oxidized and had poor light visibility. It was time for a change (yes I'd use kits unsuccessfully to clean them) I made the request for quotes for the work to be done. They reached back with a great cost..and I wanted an oil change. Drove there and found them to be friendly and got to work fast. I used yelp to find this business and sought a quote for a simple oil change for my BMW. They sent me a quote back for the oil change at under $70. I made an appointment for the next day they got me right in as no one else was ahead of me. After about an hour of waiting the service guy kept coming in and getting on the computer while talking to someone on the phone about my car. More than 2 hours went by before they told me they couldn't figure the oil filter out. After all the waiting, they finally gave me my bill and it was almost $110 which was 50% more than the quote. They tried to justify the 50% increase by claiming they had to use 7 quarts of oil instead of the 5 quarts they quoted that it would need. It was a horrible experience and a rip off. I could not recommend this place for anything. read more

My car was due for registration renewal. The new Texas "One Sticker" rules had me a little confused as I thought I had to get my car inspected prior to renewal. I stopped into Pflugerville Automotive the other day to get my car inspected. I I was greeted immediately and was told it would be about a twenty minute wait. After about fifteen minutes the inspector came out to get my car. He quickly informed me that I did not need an inspection. He said because it was new it was originally given a two year inspection sticker and that Travis Co. would have the record of such in their computers. Stopped by to get an oil change and inspection done. They wouldn't give me a price until I told them how many quarts of oil and what kind it took. I'm sure it's in the manual but shouldn't they be able to figure that out? I walked out as fast as I could. They didn't seem trustworthy to me. I showed up for a state Inspection and they tried to tell me my Windshield wipers were bad and that they were out of all but the most Expensive wipers, plus a couple of other things. I ran out the Door to another Inspection place and they told me my wipers were fine. Its a real Shady Operation they've got going on there. read more

I've been here several times and never decided to give them a review. But this time I had to because they did a pretty DARN GOOD JOB! Mr. Jon M. you missed out of not getting screwed over! Why? because they asked you a simple question because they have different brands and prices of oil so your price will depend on YOUR selection! They could go ahead and select for you the most expensive one and charge you an arm and a leg but they let there customers make that decision. Plus if your vehicle takes more qourtes of oil then what there base fee is for oil change then that will also increase your price. SEE MR JON sometimes you need to think first before you judge. Anyways, everytime I go there I get anything but good, trustworthy, and fast service. And they have already done several services on all my vehicles and I have never had a problem!! Needless to say I've noticed that they are extremely cheap too!! I got a super deal for my breaks compared to what I had paid before. I think they are GREAT!! They were able to get us the parts we needed (on a saturday!) also went and picked them up personally. They drove us to get new tires and out to lunch! We were more than impressed!
