Either way that's mainly what I wanted to omit from the peanut butter bowl, add hemp seed and honey. And I got to the car there was no granola. Lovely little place with a lot of different dishes. There are vegan/vegetarian and omnivore options as well which is great. We had a superfood quinoa bowl, a salmon wrap and a choc chip brownie and everything was really delicious, the brownie was absolutely heavenly. I don't understand other reviewers complaining about the portion sizes as both mine and my husband's food was more than enough, and I also saw a few other people ordering other stuff and those seemed quite big too. I thought I was going to get a hearty salad. The toppings and dressing are so minimal. I asked for tomatoes and received 5 tomatoes... I asked for carrots and it's less than a smidget on my salad. Delivery took about 30 minutes with UberEats, which is shorter than the other reviews I've seen but I also live about a 4 minute car ride from Fuel. It's nice to see healthier options in the neighborhood but that being said, the food is just ok. The salmon was over cooked and surprisingly under seasoned, especially given the extensive ingredient list they have on the menu. I don't usually leave reviews online but ordering from here was a terrible experience. My work spent over $300 here over the course of 2 days. On the second day they forgot one sandwich from our order. I called to politely let them know, and asked them to just send the missing sandwich. The man on the phone insisted that the sandwich had been sent, claimed I was lying when I said it wasn't in the bag, and refused to do anything to solve the problem of one person missing their lunch. It was a hot mess in a bowl and couldn't eat it. When I called to complain, the guy became very defensive. The first time I let it slide, and the second -- after a reasonable request for a refund was denied by the restaurant -- I'm taking to Yelp. The only reason they get any stars at all is because the food is good once you finally do get it, but from a customer service standpoint they need a complete overhaul. I have ordered from here quite frequently in the past because there are not many comparable healthy shops in the neighborhood. That truly needs to change because this business is trash. All around. The staff is so unfriendly, unhelpful and just rude. Even if you're friendly. My order has been incorrect more than once and if you order for delivery, prepare for a hefty delivery fee ($2.99) on top of them expecting a tip. But the worst part? The deliveries are ALWAYS late. My last (and final) order from them was over an hour late. When there was no order update, I called the business to track my order. Their response? "It will be there soon...yeah" that was it. 20 minutes later there was still no delivery and there never was a delivery. Please do not waste your time or money at this place. It needs to be shut down so a new management team and staff can build a business here that can provide at minimum decent service. read more

This place is incredible! They have a great vegan food menu that has healthy but also really tasty and filling options. I think I have previously overlooked this place for food because of the name but it's way more than just a juice bar. All the vegan stuff is clearly labeled on the menu for stress free ordering! I had the BLAT and the sandwich was delicious and filling, worth the price to me. The tempeh bacon was great but the chipotle mayo tasted house made and really put it over the top. It's sometimes a struggle to find quick, tasty, and filling vegan eats in this area but this hits the spot so well! read more

Mixed feelings here. I was so excited to come home and write my five star review after such great customer service. I found Fuel on seamless as a new listing and checked out the menu. I noticed they had nutritional yeast as an ingredient, so I called in my order for a customized salad, In case they didn't get the instructions right on seamless. Jennifer, tells me that the delivery time was going to be over an hour, so I decided to give her my order and pick it up since it was only 11 minutes away(which is still painful given it was -1 degrees out)walk there instead, since it was only 11 minutes away and I really wanted my nutritional yeast! I called in my way over to alert them I was coming and make sure they hadn't thrown out the salad, and Brian tells me "we've been waiting for you.." So I rushed there. Once I got inside my hand was literally frost bitten and I was yelling in pain. Brian and Jennifer felt bad about my hand and were nice enough to thrown in a complimentary soup and two pressed juices that are valued at 7$ each. I was so grateful and started talking them--so this is how I found out everyone's names, and I even found out that Jennifer is the sister of the owner, George. When I got home, i was going to write a stellar review until I noticed there was NO nutritional yeast, black pepper or lemon in my salad :( So despite my gratitude for their compassion w the extra food, I basically walked all the way over and suffered from from frostbite, because I wanted my nutritional yeast! It's strange because I was even talking to Jennifer about it and asked her where they get there nutritional yeast. Today is Halloween so, of course parents are taking their children out to trick- or- treat. I had my twins & my grandson with me. As we entered the juice bar we see a family getting candy from a bowl at the counter. Now, it's our turn. As I was reaching in to grab some candy to put in my grandson bag the woman behind the counter (she had glasses on)tells me "don't take a lot because I have other children that's going to come" I responded " I have very small hands I can't take but so much". I wasn't bothered by what she said but, it was what she did next. I reached in to get some to place in my son's bag ( I have 3 children w/me) she had the audacity to aggressively snatched the candy bowl away from me. This was very disturbing to me. What kind of person would do something like that on a day like this? The disrespect. SHAME ON YOU!!!! I told her" ppl are dying out here and all you can think about is how much candy ppl are taking". When this juice bar first opened I was one of their first customers. I've been in this neighborhood for 40 years. I am a homeowner just around the corner from this establishment. I will never patronize them again. If an establishment cannot come into a community and support the people & families of the community then they should not be allowed to do business. I will never step foot into this place again. I will spread the word through social media and by word of mouth. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN NOW....this is a day of fun for the children and families. If you can't afford to give out candy on Holloween then DON'T DO IT!!!! We don't need your business. There is another juice bar around the corner. And they are very pleasant people. I hope the owners are reading this post because I want you to know if you don't do better and reach out to the community I will have the community shut you down. And if that was the owner then this is for YOU....Be careful on how you approach ppl because you never know who they are and who they know. I was assured that I was earning "one star per order" and when I went to redeem them, was told that I did not receive the stars because my orders fell short by $.80. "The guy gave you the wrong information," the young woman behind the counter told me. I asked if I could be given credit for my previous orders, given that I had purchased them in good faith, believing that each one "counted." She said "no" without any explanation. Ordered via Door Dash because I had a coupon. I've been eyeing Fuel for a while but have avoided it because I don't think ordering an acai bowl via delivery would turn out very well. (I will probably still test this theory eventually) I went for the Superfood bowl ($12) and the Purple Haze smoothie (16oz, $8.50). The veggies are well seasoned but not overly so. The smoothie is perfect, not too sweet and I can taste every ingredient in the smoothie (except the hemp protein, thankfully haha) I definitely expected the portion of the bowl to be skimpy but WOW this is a lot of food. I've eaten almost half of it and almost half of the smoothie and I'm already full; but who am I kidding, that won't stop me! I will definitely be ordering from this place more often. read more

My wife and I had two entrees and one Smoothie. We had Tuna Wrap and the Raw Vegan Pizza. We are not that knowledgeable about Vegan dishes, but we are trying to eat as healthy as we can. Trying to stay away from Junk food is incredibly difficult when you have had it for the past 40 years! Usually I really miss Junk food when I eat much more healthier like Salads and Raw food. But having the Tuna Wrap was really delicious! It tasted great and the salad that accompanied it was equally tasty! Of course it's not the same taste as the real Tuna, but hey, I'm done with eating stuff that comes from our polluted waters and oceans. The Raw Vegan Pizza was great too! It comes with Cashew Nut Cheese and all sorts of good, high quality Vegan friendly ingredients that I can't really name. But it was really tasty. Don't think of this as if it is a traditional cheese pizza replacement. Think of it as a really good entree that can substitute for your Junk Pizza crave! Lastly, we had the Green Amazon Smoothie. That was actually my favorite of the three! It included Kale and other nutritional juices but the combination was so good, I would definitely come in for that Smoothie every week! The Layout of the restaurant is also very nice. It's on a corner and has a lot of windows! You can really enjoy just sitting there and looking out, people watching, etc. It's really very comfortable. The Owners are family (Mom and Son), very knowledgeable and creative with health food. They are extremely friendly and warm! When I order the salad with roasted chicken, the vegetables are all fresh and crisp and the chicken is warm and tasty.
