Went in for a cleaning and an appraisal for updating my insurance info. They did a good job cleaning it but I do not recommend them for appraisal. They appraised two platinum and and Dimond rings for 1/2 the value they were appraised for 10yrs ago. I thought that was suspicious so I got 2 more separate appraisals elsewhere those two were both pretty close to each other but both were close to 70% higher than Fuenfer so across three appraisals Fuenfer was such a large outlier it was highly likely to have been incorrect. read more

They have a very good however, not huge selection of fine bobbles to select from, all sorts of settings, from the traditional to modern. If you don't see what you want, they can make it for you. I needed to get my white gold wedding ring re-plated (rhodium) and unlike so many other jewelers, they do it in-house, which shortens the wait. I mentioned I was leaving the country, so they promised to get the ring to me within 2 days, but ended up doing it in hours and calling me right back, to make sure I got it in time. Price was competitive. Also, I have a (delicate) tanzanite with a tricky setting that really clings to dirt. Many jewelers are unable to clean it well. Due fee did it (for free, in minutes) in a way that got rid of all dirt and made the tanzanite shinier than I've seen in years. Everyone was warm and friendly and kind, and they sent me back with a pocket of candy for my kids sitting in the car. If I ever need to actually buy jewelry (all of which looked stunning), I'd definitely start here. read more

Walked in to get my beau's watch battery replaced. It took us 3 times hitting the buzzer to be let inside. After that, we were essentially ignored so we headed for the back to a counter. The man at the counter replaced my boyfriend's watch battery. Then, without even addressing me, he turned around. While we were here, I thought I would ask they could fix my claddagh ring, which was missing a small stone. I took it off my finger and handed it to the man to look at. He then declared that it was "hardly worth fixing" and the repair would be "expensive." When I asked, "how much?" I was told it would be approximately $20. While I am aware the ring is not a 2 carat diamond and its value is sentimental, I was pretty angry that I was treated like I was wasting his time and that my beloved (and beautiful) ring is a piece of junk. Because of the way I was treated, I would never, ever come here again. Clearly, these people have learned nothing from watching Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. read more

Sadly, had less than perfect experience at this jeweler. Owner became irate after misplacing his *special* jeweler's loupe although 2 others were on the counter. Even went as far as suggest that my son had perhaps pinched them and made him look in his pockets. Irate to employees in front of fellow customers. In addition, they had what I would consider extreme difficulty setting a stone in a engagement ring setting. After three attempts at setting it "straight" (the diamond was noticeably skewed), we essentially had to settle for an acceptable amount of skew. My son was literally traumatized since this was a major expense for him. I was looking forward to doing business here since its in my neighborhood but not now....so sorry. read more
