After a day or two, I received a phone call from them and was told that unfortunately, their watchmaker had determined that it needed a part that was no longer available. When I came in to pick up the watch, I discovered that they had cleaned and polished it, repaired the band, and put it in a presentation box for me to have as a keepsake-- all at no charge. I was very impressed with this kind gesture and I ended up coming back to buy a new watch from them. Lambrecht's is a great family-owned business.

The store has a personality, its pretty quirky and I'd say (after working there for several years) that a sitcom based on this place just might work. (Oh the stories). They are genuine and honest folks who enjoy what they do and treasure the relationships that have been built over time and generations. I think the store is worth a look, as the Cullen's various interests and travels have brought some interesting pieces into the store. And there is definitely a mesmerizing collection of estate and antique jewelry (always my favorites). Oh and important to mention --- the store does not jack up prices like the chains do. We were able to put together a custom made engagement ring for less than some of the settings I saw at other places. She brought in some center stones that I was able to compare and pick from, and her pricing and selection was significantly better than loose diamonds I was seeing at online retailers. The ring looks fantastic, and I couldn't be happier. I'm really happy with the price that I paid for what I got. The ring looks fabulous on my fiancée's finger, and she gets compliments all the time from people who saw that ring sparkle from across the room. After having such a good experience buying that first ring (plus free ring cleaning and amazing customer service), my husband decided to buy my engagement ring here. They took an old family heirloom black diamond and set it in the most AMAZING platinum band surrounded by small diamonds. I obviously said "yes" to my man and that ring. We then got our wedding bands from Arman, and again, the service we received was SUPERB. Always free ring cleaning, always friendly service. Two weeks ago, I was in an apartment building fire. A neighbor passed out while cooking and hit their head. In my attempt to smash their door down to get them out of the unit, I badly damaged both my engagement ring and wedding band. I lost three diamonds in total, and both bands were bent to the point of breaking. Although I was glad everyone in the situation was safe, I was very upset about my damaged, broken rings.
