This is a real Mexican cafe / restaurant with authentic drinks, food, decor a d music. The chairs are colorful with painted backs and seats. Casual and fun- fresh food and a busy place on a weekend or afternoon. Some booths and tables - a bar - and a to go counter. Food was fresh and delicious - reasonably quick for the crowd - Complementary chips and salsa are homemade and good. The Hamptons has a good number of real south American spots - it's especially nice to have the non commercial ones - like Mi Pueblito.

Or anything BUT chicken fajitas. I do wonder if all their chicken is dark meat, like thighs. I just don't like it. I like chicken breast. Especially in fajitas. The agua fresca was delicious, but very very sweet. I got a bottle of water to cut the excessive sweetness. Needs lemon or lime juice too. This is a very bright, cheerful, fun place. They have produce and groceries! It's small, but there are several tables, and it's very clean. I will definitely be back, for tacos! Three stars for the fajitas. I just thought that that was strange. I would understand if it was really busy and they were saving the tables for larger parties. But it was very empty. My server came by and took my order, I ordered a lemonade, the drink came, the food came. And then I noticed that all the tables, but mine also had a glass of water with their drinks. So again, I thought that that was strange that everyone else was offered complementary water but me. All the food items came out within 10 minutes of ordering.
