What truly completed the evening was our server, Adam. He was knowledgeable, attentive, considerate, and spot-on with every recommendation and every question we had. His friendly personality and great sense of humor made us feel right at home. It's amazing how one person can elevate an already outstanding dining experience. Adam did exactly that for us. We will definitely be back to Fauna, and we'll be requesting Adam as our server. Highly recommend!

What a terrible experience. We had eaten at Flora a few days earlier and had the most delicious…read morefood and excellent service. Well, we met the complete opposite arriving at Fauna. We only saw the waitress one time. After waiting 15 minutes, she arrived to take our order and we NEVER saw her again. The potato purée with truffle cream and leeks, which we requested to arrive first hadn't arrived after what seemed like 15 to 20 minutes so we got up from the table and apparently they made a mistake and it should've been brought to the table and when it did, it was cold or barely warm. We tried to find someone to get us to help us, but after five minutes gave up and decided to eat it. You couldn't taste any truffle and we ate it just because we were hungry, but it was extremely disappointing. There were hardly any leaks on it and they were overcooked. Next, there was confusion over our entrée which we were splitting and we wanted to come out and we again had to try to track someone down to explain to please send out the entrée. When it arrived, the fish had been pounded down thin and was covered in breading and so much oil that it was completely disgusting and inedible. Instead of a beautiful piece of juicy flounder, we got a dry, oily thin piece, which was mostly breading and really disgusting. It had no flavor. Green beans which they put a fancy name on to make it sound special while they were overcooked and tasteless and the sweet potatoes were watered down. The rum banana was overcooked and would have been better suited as a dessert. We then had to get up from the table again because we never found our waitress so we had to go to the hostess so we can retrieve our bill and left a very undeserving 15% tip. We managed to find someone else to bring us some containers to take on the food that we hadn't eaten and in the end, I don't know why we bothered because it went in the garbage. If you want terrible service and terrible food, then head on over to Fauna . If you want good service and good food walk a few feet and there you have Flora. Flora is a small intimate restaurant that is decorated beautifully had amazing service and cooks their food perfectly. They treat each customer as if they are their most special customer. We felt welcomed there and we felt like they went above and beyond to make us happy. It was such a different experience going to that. We are shocked the same owners owned both restaurants. Maybe they should try switching managers so Fauna can learn how to run things more like Flora. I have a feeling that Fauna makes most of their money on alcohol because you certainly don't wanna go there for the food or ambience. It's noisy and obnoxious. If you want a peaceful restaurant, that's beautiful and knows what their theme is then go on over to Flora. Fauna has lamps with deer, antlers and wood that is dark and uninviting and strange wallpaper with different animals on it in the bathroom and terrible smelling soap. Their menu is confusing as with their music, which was a mix of salsa and a type of music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. You really missed the mark Fauna.

I order takeout from here regularly…read morebecause the quality of their ingredients is consistently excellent, and you can truly taste the difference. Every meal is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. My favorites are the Sweet Basil Chicken (hands down my favorite dish on the menu), the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, the Kale Chicken Caesar, and the Truffle Mushroom Arancini. They're all incredible and never disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always friendly whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. It's one of those places you find yourself coming back to again and again. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Hamptons! Highly recommend a visit to Flora!…read more Flora does farm-to-table cuisine perfectly. The ambiance is super cute and homey. Service was very friendly and efficient! Apps: Pear Salad, Edamame Hummus, & Burrata: All three were 10/10! The salad was so fresh with a tangy vinaigrette and sweet pears. The hummus was so savory and the burrata had a delicious tomato sauce that brightened the dish! Mains: Truffle Mushroom Arancini and Soba Noodles - the arancini was rich, cheesy, and super flavorful! The soba noodles were perfectly salty and the veggies were so fresh. Everything was truly phenomenal. Can't wait to come back next time I'm out east!

The indoor space is small, but the rustic trendy Southern vibe gives it a cozy atmosphere that feels very family run and welcoming. It's located right next to the train line, which adds to the small town café feel. The food was definitely worth the wait overall. I had the Remsenburg burger with all the fixings and it was delicious. The homemade burger bun really stood out. We also tried the homemade biscuit with jam, which was excellent. My partner ordered the pancakes and breakfast platter. The pancakes were light and fluffy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The only downside food wise was that the ham was a bit too salty. Service was attentive and polite throughout our visit. There was a moment walking in where I felt stared at a bit, but the staff maintained a friendly attitude otherwise. You can tell it's a younger crew helping run the place, and the family style atmosphere comes through. The only real cons were the long wait and the fact that a few menu items were unavailable by the time we ordered. Overall though, I'd definitely visit again.

We called to see if we needed a reservation, but no one answered, and the mailbox was full. So we drove over. There was a sign outside saying, "We're open!" On the back of that sign, it said "Now serving dinner Friday and Saturday 6-9 pm." The parking lot was EMPTY. On the door was a sign saying, "Sorry, we're closed." No Friday or Saturday night dinner hours were noted. I can't comment on the food or ambience, because we didn't get to experience either of these. I'm sure that everything would have been simply lovely, had they actually been open. We saw the menu, and were really looking forward to dinner. Our disappointment was vast. I don't know if we'll trust them to be open for dinner and return. They're usually only open for breakfast and lunch. I thought that I also had screenshots of Google/Yelp showing them as open for dinner, and the back of the sign. Can't find them.

This place has been here for so many decades, it almost feels like stepping back in time with the big wooden booths and pastry counter. It's giving old school diner. When you walk in you'll notice the bakery portion of the store to your right, where you can order any freshly baked breads, pastries, cookies and the like. Straight back is where you go to place food and coffee orders. You place your order on a kiosk. Options include a variety of egg dishes, omelets and frittatas, as well as waffles, pancakes and avocado toast. There's a full coffee bar as well with iced coffees, lattes and other espresso drinks to choose from. We went with a bunch of iced coffees, a "build your own" omelet, breakfast burrito and mushroom omelet. Despite the crazy line here on a Saturday afternoon our food came out very quickly. Coffees took another 20 minutes or so until we were able to ask someone about it (we felt bad, they were so busy), and they handed them over to us. The food here was good and fresh, but also very no frills and portions are small. The prices here are so high though that when we were walking by Donahue's on our way out we realized we could've had a fancy brunch there for just about the same price as we paid for a few small dishes.

Yes, some of the food is more on the expensive side, but it's the Hamptons. Also, the amount of specials this place offers makes it more than affordable. Stop in for Taco Tuesday for $3 tacos or Wednesday for $8.99 burger night and your wallet will thank you. Shout out to Jimmy, my favorite bartender, who makes the best jalapeno margarita around (which is only $12 on Tuesdays, you're welcome). Their burgers here are solid and always cooked the way you ask for. The Mexican Street Corn Nachos are incredible and great for sharing. The wings and quesadillas here are solid as well. Plus they often have food specials to shake things up and keep it interesting. The decor is fun and unique, it's just a relaxed welcoming vibe all around. It's also nice to see owners involved in the day to day operations of this place. They're often in here enjoying dinner with friends which also says a lot - if they love eating here so will you!
