Quite enjoyed this place. I'd recommend checking it out if you like sushi. If we lived closer, I could definitely see myself coming back from time to time. It's a very small shop, with room for maybe 5 to 8 people total, if I remember correctly. That said, it seemed clean and well maintained. I loved the large digital menu. We ate inside, and my only complaint was that the tables felt a little sticky. We got there right when they opened on a Sunday, and aside from a few people stopping in for takeout, we had the place to ourselves. We started with the popcorn chicken and yum yum sauce. I'm not sure if they make the breading themselves or if it's frozen chicken that's simply deep fried, but I really liked it. In fact, I liked it so much that I ate most of it without the yum yum sauce, which surprised even me because I usually drown everything in yum yum sauce. My wife got the avocado roll and snow crab roll and really enjoyed it. She especially liked that each piece wasn't overloaded with rice. That was a big plus for her. I got the Fuji Roll. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I'd probably try something different next time, though I don't have any major complaints. It just wasn't my favorite sushi roll. Price wise. It's sushi so not cheap, but I think it's very much in line with other sushi shops and maybe even cheaper at times. It did take a long time for our order to be ready. But I know that can happen when making sushi. But don't walk-in assuming you are going to be in and out in 10-15 mins. It can take a while. I do wish our appetizer would have came first instead of waiting and getting everything at once. That also could have made the wait time feel less. The biggest thing that contributed to my star deduction was that they don't offer free water. It felt a little odd to have to buy a bottled water in 2026 at a restaurant, just to have something to drink with lunch. read more

I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad I did! I was greeted by an amazing woman who was extremely helpful in helping me order on the kiosk. I asked for a spider roll and was pleasantly surprised to see they had TWO options! I've never seen that! I got the "jumbo" crab roll (which was 2x the price) but it didn't seem any bigger than others from comparison. It was good though. I pressured myself to order and got the "Fresh" box. It was VERY yummy! The soy sauce, chopsticks, ginger and wasabi were pleasantly plentiful. They even included soy sauce dishes! This is a HIDDEN GEM!!! straight up if you haven't checked them out for their lunch special, you're missing out! I was able to get these two rolls for under 10 dollars! Food was fresh and flavorful and it's made so quick! Service is friend and attentive! I had tried this location a few years ago and was pretty disappointed, and recently tried it again and was thrilled that the sushi was exactly the same as the Eagan location. The $11.99 sushi lunch special can't be beat -- you get three sushi rolls, and a side salad or drink. I like how this location allows you to swap the drink for a salad. The salad was fresh and had the classic ginger dressing. The shrimp tempura rolls were delicious and the tempura was so fresh. It's drizzled with a generous amount of eel sauce. I had no idea this sushi bar was in the same as the location in Eagan! I've visited the Eagan location a couple of times and have really enjoyed what I've ordered. This location has very similar menu options and the same unbeatable lunch special! The sushi tasted fresh and was convenient for takeout. Always fresh. I've had nearby competitors and their fish is always mush and smelly. I know packaging wouldn't matter if their food was bad but I like their touches on packaging and presentation which tells me they pay attention to detail and if they do that it tells me they take care of their food preparation as well. It's a small mostly to go spot but if they had a nice sit down I would definitely order to dine in. I have been to many sushi bars throughout the USA and feel my rating is an excellent reflection of this establishment. The customer service is above average and it is worth you giving them a try. I plan to research other sushi bars in my current location to check out a few more establishments and hopefully find a 4+ or 5 Star Sushi Bar. I go to this place regularly for takeout lunch. They have a wonderful deal where you can get two rolls for 9 or three rolls for 11. For appetizers We ordered the Harumaki, super good nice and simple and the Crispy Oysters, didn't love the sauce but the app was great. For main dish we ordered the Fuji roll, White Hot Roll and the Sakura Roll. They all tasted great The only conservative feedback I would give is the white hot roll needed more of a crunch for texture but otherwise shockingly tasty! My husband and I are huge sushi people and decided to go out on a limb and support our local sushi joint! I'm really happy we did! Would definitely dine here again. So I left a review claiming I "thought about" 4 stars. Tonight, they blew that idea out of the picture all-together. I had placed an order for takeout around 6ish, to be picked up at 7. I showed up at 7:40 or so. This is important because.... THEY OFFERED TO REMAKE MY ORDER FOR FREE. This is hugely important-- in my last review I spoke about how 1 item didn't knock my socks off, but their quality and freshness is awesome. The fact they offered to remake my order to ENSURE quality and freshness is-- frankly, fucking remarkable. I said no, of course. It's my own damn fault I was late, the business shouldn't suffer from my own tardiness. Actually first I said "yeeeeeesssss?". As in "really? I'M late and you'll remake this order for me?" I ultimately told them "I love this place, and I DON'T want you to waste the money to remake this on my account". Dudes and gals of Yelp reading this, I ask simply: Does it get any better? My rolls were still wonderful and after nuking our Steak and Shrimp bento boxes they still tasted great. This was a $30 takeout order I placed-- so there was some quantity to it. Everything was great and the customer service was wonderful. Oh my gosh. I had incredible sushi delivered to my door from Rosemount. ROSEMOUNT! Just when I thought Rosemount had reached a culinary peak with 'Chipotle', Fuji came along and blew my socks off. I'm no connoisseur of sushi, but I have had some really bad sushi. This is not that. This is the opposite. I loved this. This is so much better than I expected. Like, when you sit down to watch a movie on Hallmark channel and you're expecting something mediocre to bad, but then a guest appearance by Ed Asner makes you do a standing ovation in your family room. I highly recommend the Fuji roll. The New York was basic, but at $6 a roll it's a steal. I'm just so floored that Rosemount offers incredible sushi. Can you tell? My family has been ordering from here throughout the pandemic and we absolutely love it! I'm a vegetarian so I've only had the avocado peanut rolls, sweet potato tempura roll, and edamame. All of these come perfect every single time and perfectly bite-sized. My partner loves the California rolls. We LOVE their lunch special and it is a ton of food for cheap-I can't eat it all. We've gotten Fuji delivered several times and it usually arrives 15 minutes after we order which is SO FAST. Dominos/Jimmy John's don't even come that quickly to us.
