My type of environment with the low lighting, but not so much you need a flashlight for the menu. It was clear they had experience handling group sizes of all types and they were not shy on the saké. Plenty of parking and I was content with the cook on both the rice and the meat. The hibachi was entertaining and even if you are there for an event like a birthday or not, you will still enjoy your time. It is clear this place is managed differently, for the better, than other Osaka locations. Would recommend.

Had takeout from Osaka and it hit the spot! Their California roll was very basic but they give you large pieces. The hibachi dinner is always good. Adequately sauced and large enough to share. The chicken and steak were juicy and tender. The yum yum sauce provided also gives an added sweet tangy flavor that is sure to be a crowd favorite. Their fried rice is also a must try and is perfect leftover the next day. If you are looking for an exciting dining experience you can check out their hibachi table. The chefs are friendly and entertaining!

Who doesn't love Osaka! The hibachi grill is awesome as well as the sushi, but I love the show and the nummy smells as they cook their hibachi. Get this my 4 year old granddaughter is the one that requested to eat here, she said Grandma can we go to the place with the clear soup with mushrooms and their shrimp and noodles. Then said I can tell you how to get there and she did. 4 Years old! I had a drink of their specialty board called the sparky pony that was super light and crisp too. There soup is so flavorful along with their great soy/ginger dressing on the salad and anything on the flat griddle is wonderful with their regular white rice or fried rice then their "NUMMY" sauce is so good drizzled ov er everything. This place is 5 star and a fun place to go with a group or birthday celebration.

I love that we have a good sushi & hibachi spot here in the suburbs. It's big, spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Brought my parents here for dinner & they loved it & they are picky people I must say. The server we had was so kind as well & I loved that she had a great sense of humor to reciprocate because my dad loves to kid around with people from time to time lol. Pictured: 007 roll & Lisa Lisa crunch roll - 5 stars. We also ordered hamachi Kama & the tofu w a side of eel sauce. Which were light choices & yummy.

We've been going to Osaka when we are nearby for years now and the food and service are always consistent. The hibachi in back is certainly lively and entertaining, but we primarily go for the rolls and it is fun to sit in the front dining area and watch them being made. Our absolute favorites are the Mango Hawaii Roll, Buddha Roll and the Oshinko Roll. We also enjoy the California Roll and the Royal Pink Roll. It's a clean, comfortable restaurant and the food is always delicious.

Meal before the noodles...so much to eat

First time visiting Osaka seafood Steakhouse and we really enjoyed our experience. We made reservations ahead of time and were seated immediately. There was one other family at our hibachi table. Our chef was talented, entertaining and fun. We started with fried rice. I chose shrimp, my fav, but rest of family had combos of chicken and steak. We already had so much food and then the chef started cooking noodles. It was a ton to eat but the leftovers were boxed for future meals. The food was great and experience fun. Service was good. We will be back.

They sing the yee-haw song if it's your birthday and they also give you an option to ride the saddle. The birthday celebrant also gets a complimentary ice cream. The place was packed and busy but our servers came to check on us frequently. I got the 12 oz ribeye with ribs which was definitely too much food for one person ha! I don't think I have to go into details on how the food was because they were all delicious! The dinner rolls is always a bonus and you must try the onion ring flower when you visit any Texas Roadhouse! 11/10 would always recommend!

Food is always consistent. We usually do the prime rib because we can't pass on a good prime rib. The kiddos love the Mac and cheese so we usually do those as our sides. The chicken critters are a must try. Really can't go wrong with anything here. Sadly our waitress did not come back to check on us often, we needed a few things and waited a while for it. So disappointed we barely got any bread unlike the other times we've been there. That's the best part! It was very busy for fathers though so it was fine but service could've been better. They had activities outside for Father's Day, a bounce house, face painting, and bags. I love how they make it fun for the whole family here.

FANTASTIC food, drinks, service, patio area, and ambiance!…read more I'm from Arizona and visit my in-laws in central MN 1-2x per year. However, this trip we had a wedding southeast of "the cities" where wife and our two kids loved that menu online and decided to check it out on our way to the wedding the next day. Honestly, this has been my fav restaurant in all of Minnesota. Ribeye, walleye, pretzel, and drinks were perfect! Unfortunately, I likely won't be in the area ever again to revisit it; however, we liked it so much I had to post a positive review. Cheers from AZ.

Oh boy...where to start? I guess I will start with the pros…read more First, I always like to mention what day and time I visited a restaurant. I decided to get takeout for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I have been on a kick lately trying Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches, or in Barley and Vine's case, the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich. That was the main reason I wanted to stop by for lunch. I placed a to-go order, but we have also dined inside several times before. Starting with the positives, the staff is always very friendly and welcoming. There is really no issue there. The staff is fantastic. The overall vibe and ambiance of the restaurant are incredibly nice as well. It leans toward a fancier, higher-end, upscale atmosphere. I honestly think that may be part of the reason several reviews are so positive and why people may perceive the food as being higher quality or better tasting. We have also had brunch here more than once. We are generally not brunch people, but we have really enjoyed the brunch items we have ordered in the past. I am hoping we can come back for brunch again, and maybe I can eventually write an updated review with a higher rating. So why only 3/5 stars? My most recent to-go visit left me incredibly disappointed. To start, the Tennessee "Hot" Chicken Sandwich is not hot at all. "Hot" is absolutely not the correct word to use. It should probably just be called a Tennessee Chicken Sandwich, and honestly, even using "Tennessee" or "Nashville" does not seem accurate. This seemed like a basic Fried Chicken Sandwich made from a frozen chicken filet with far more breading than actual chicken. It is not the most pleasant photo to look at, but I attached a picture of the partially eaten sandwich to this review. You can clearly see how little chicken meat there actually was. They put white BBQ sauce on the sandwich, but I do not really have anything particularly good or bad to say about it. It was just kind of there. It did not improve the sandwich, but it did not necessarily make it worse either. The fries were also just fine. They seemed to be lacking flavor and may have been slightly burnt. Speaking of overcooked, the chicken sandwich also tasted overcooked. Overall, the sandwich and fries were simply not very good. I would never order the sandwich again, and I would probably substitute the fries for a different side in the future. Another issue is the repeated delay with to-go orders. I have ordered takeout from Barley and Vine maybe three or four times, and every single time the order has been late. I usually arrive only one or two minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Sometimes I even wait in the parking lot because I do not want to arrive too early. Every single time, the order is not ready at the scheduled time. This time, I only had to wait about six minutes past the pickup time. However, during my previous to-go experience a few weeks earlier, I waited more than 15 minutes past the scheduled pickup time. This has also happened during other visits. Finally, everything usually comes down to whether the meal is worth the price. I paid $17.77 for the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich with fries. That included a 48 cent credit card surcharge. They add a 3% surcharge to all credit card payments, which automatically leaves a bad taste in my mouth at any restaurant. It's not something they have to do, to support higher wages or whatever they want to tell you. It's something they CHOOSE to do. Other restaurants don't do, or they simply increase their menu prices 3%. Which I would rather have than yet another fee in this world. Regardless, the meal was simply not worth the price. The sandwich was not flavorful, was not spicy, did not contain enough chicken, and tasted overcooked. The fries also seemed overcooked and lacked flavor. It was not a good value. You could drive a little farther down the road to Dave's Hot Chicken and get a more flavorful meal, a larger portion, and a lower price. This review feels harsh, but I am hoping it comes across as constructive criticism if management happens to read it. Overall, I cannot recommend ordering takeout from Barley and Vine. I cannot recommend the Tennessee Hot Chicken Sandwich, and I do not particularly recommend the fries either. They were not absolutely terrible, but they were not great. I am still hoping to visit Barley and Vine again. I will likely avoid ordering takeout because it has consistently been a poor experience. However, I hope we have a better experience the next time we dine inside, and I will definitely be ordering something else.
