Since moving to the South metro, we've been searching for our go-to sushi spot...trying a wide variety of locations and this spot was next on the list! Parking is available in the attached lot. The interior was clean and organized, although fairly generic. Our server was attentive and kept everything accurate and enjoyable during our stay. The happy hour menu was quite extensive and great value, as we got two apps and five basic rolls for under $50. I appreciated that they had basic and specialty rolls on discount during the HH. The cream cheese wontons were light and crispy. The Philly, Spicy Tuna, and California were solid...tasted great but nothing spectacular. I did appreciate that they came on decorative plates and presentation. Overall, this spot has a great happy hour menu and the quality is pretty solid. I don't know that this spot will win "our favorite" but it's definitely worth a visit if you are close by and interested in some sushi!

Outstanding! Hit the spot for a birthday celebration. We loved this quiet, laid back spot and will definitely return. Our server checked on us often and the daily specials were all tempting. Had a tough time deciding and finished every bite.

Ordered for take out 11/12/24. Got this with friends as take out to eat on our weekly "DTWS viewing night." Ordering online was easy and there were lots of available options. We all got a whole smattering of different rolls and sides of hibachi rice (with the exception of our friend who got veggie fried rice). They did a great job with packaging the different portions for us and providing extra packets of soy sauce and yum yum sauce. Everything we got: Me: Crispy shrimp tempura roll, salmon avocado roll, side of hibachi fried rice Others: Vegetable fried rice, Cucumber cream cheese roll, AAC roll, soho roll, cream cheese wontons, sides of hibachi fried rice Special shout outs from us included: the sides of hibachi fried rice, the vegetable fried rice, salmon avocado roll, wontons

Okay place for sushi rolls Hibachi plates we're not great at all, I prefer the actual hibachi where it's made in front of you- lacking flavor and seasoning Prices are decent , service was okay, only one server for the whole restaurant and they seemed to close up early during the week

Food was amazing. We got the love boat and the sushi and sashimi were amazing and fresh. The service was also very good. I would recommend this place to all of my friends that love/like sushi

My family tried out this place for a convenient lunch. I had the salmon teriyaki box, and my family had the hibachi lunch plates. We also had the salmon skin rolls and California rolls from the happy hour menu. The restaurant was clean and quiet during a Friday noon. The miso soup that came with the salmon teriyaki box was unfortunately lukewarm. The salmon teriyaki tasted solid along with the rolls. My family said that the hibachi plates had too much teriyaki sauce such that it masked other flavors. Overall while the tastes aren't amazing here, the meals are filling and competitively priced.

A great place to have good food. A little pricey than what I expected in Minnesota. But it was a good place to have great Japanese food. I love their rendition of the Hamachi Kama, where they added a hint of spice on the Hamachi. It was a great blend of sweet, salty, and spicy flavor. Tuna tatami was so so. But I like the tangy flavor of their sauce. It was a great combination with the carrots and sprouts. My daughter also enjoyed her Dragon Roll. Would love to go back to try their other rolls.

We stopped in for dinner and they weren't too busy. People are missing out. The following 4 rolls were all excellent and nicely presented. Service was great too. Lots of fish in the rolls. Inver Grove Roll Iwa House Special American Dream Roll Double Treasure Roll Parking in the back.

    Happy hour menu

We noticed that there has not been an update to the happy hour menu and hours in quite some time.

Excellent service- super friendly. So many choices. My son and I stopped in for a couple rolls and were very pleased. So fresh and tasty. Wish we had been hungrier so could eat more! Plenty of parking.

It's a very small shop, with room for maybe 5 to 8 people total, if I remember correctly. That said, it seemed clean and well maintained. I loved the large digital menu. We ate inside, and my only complaint was that the tables felt a little sticky. We got there right when they opened on a Sunday, and aside from a few people stopping in for takeout, we had the place to ourselves. We started with the popcorn chicken and yum yum sauce. I'm not sure if they make the breading themselves or if it's frozen chicken that's simply deep fried, but I really liked it. In fact, I liked it so much that I ate most of it without the yum yum sauce, which surprised even me because I usually drown everything in yum yum sauce. My wife got the avocado roll and snow crab roll and really enjoyed it. She especially liked that each piece wasn't overloaded with rice. That was a big plus for her. I got the Fuji Roll. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I'd probably try something different next time, though I don't have any major complaints. It just wasn't my favorite sushi roll. Price wise. It's sushi so not cheap, but I think it's very much in line with other sushi shops and maybe even cheaper at times. It did take a long time for our order to be ready. But I know that can happen when making sushi. But don't walk-in assuming you are going to be in and out in 10-15 mins. It can take a while. I do wish our appetizer would have came first instead of waiting and getting everything at once. That also could have made the wait time feel less. The biggest thing that contributed to my star deduction was that they don't offer free water. It felt a little odd to have to buy a bottled water in 2026 at a restaurant, just to have something to drink with lunch.

The whole ambience and vibe of the restaurant is really nice. Granted, we were the only people there at the time, but it's still a really cozy and relaxing atmosphere in my opinion. The waitress that helped us was more than kind as well. Very nice, great service. The only thing I wish they would've asked is if we wanted the bill split, they just brought it to both of us. I was with my sister so we had to split it later. We didn't want to inconvenience them so we just paid the full bill. The BBQ pork bun was absolutely amazing. For only $5.50, I would recommend getting it as an appetizer. It's a fairly decent size too so you could split it with at least one other person. Or, you could have the whole thing to yourself!!! I'll probably get one just for me next time. I liked the chicken satay skewers. Those are really good. But, I was expecting more than just two small chicken skewers for the cost. Really good flavor though. Then we got sushi rolls. They were all fantastic. I remember I got the Ooka Roll. It's the most expensive role on the menu, but it's fantastic. I think we also got the 150th roll. Also fantastic. Overall, I really recommend this place if you want some sushi. Just be prepared to pay a lot of money. If you need a cheaper option, there are other sushi places that are a bit cheaper close by. But these guys are very good and I will be back. I would rate 4.5 out of 5 stars, but Yelp only lets me do full stars - so I'm bumping it up to a 5. I'm excited to try their hibachi when we go back, and more sushi.
