Came here with my husband 8 years ago and since we were in town we came in to try it again. Overall I remembered the sushi was delicious and to this day it still tastes as delicious as it was back then. When looking at the sign on the front it says that the sushi is imported which I appreciate the transparency. The service was alright. Normally when we come into sushi restaurants they feel welcoming. We weren't greeted or seated when we arrived and just stood for a minute. The front door shuts loud so don't be too startled like me. Then when it came to putting in our order they seemed dismissive and never really checked on us or refilled our waters. Food was terrific. I loved the crunchies and green onions on top of the clear soup. There were crunchy noodles on top of the egg drop soup. Worth the hype! Ordered mango tango roll, house salad, and panko fried purple sweet potato. The salad dressing blew my mind-usually ginger dressing is light brown so I was thrown off with the light orangey color but it's made with freshly grated ginger, just wow. The mango tango roll had a lot of great texture and flavors. While I loved the sweet potato appetizer and dipping sauce, I probably wouldn't get it again unless sharing with friends. I also wouldn't pair it with the mango tango roll because the flavors do not match but individually everything was incredible! Service was prompt, friend, and attentive. We have been several times! My kids love it and the staff is always so nice. We live the gyoza and clear soup. The hibachi is good too.

The food is excellent! The restaurant is clean and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately it is always freezing cold and when I ask waiters to turn it down (even all winter!) they say their boss won't let them and that they know it's too cold. Proof that 4.5 Star yelp reviews in some cities are very very different than others, this is not 4 or 5 star sushi. It is 2 star sushi and I rate the place 3 stars because the staff was great and ambience not too bad. I've had some fantastic sushi/sashimi in my life and this entire food experience was disappointing. I tried - I really did. Tried more than one bite. But really had some issues.... The eel roll (I felt compelled to order at least 1 roll) - well where is the eel? They deliver the flavor through a thick, I nuanced sauce - not through actual eel. I ordered the 24 piece sashimi sampler and this is where the wheels went off - first, the weird salad.. ginger and mayo? That's what it tasted like. Looked worse. Horrible. The soup? Tepid tap water with some tofu tossed in? Couldn't stomach it. Then, the sashimi... The sashimi platter looked good when it was dropped off, but the quality of fish was a disaster across the board. Salmon tasted tired and cheap and was covered with cabbage - why cabbage? Salmon should stand up by itself so confused. The tunas were all bad - some had no real taste like low quality cuts frozen for way too long. Others, the main star in the back, were covered with some weird spice chutney to cover up the taste - always a bad sign. Quality sushi shouldn't be masked. It should have a good texture and taste on it's own. I could not finish my meal at all and I've eaten crazy amounts in one sitting in the past. If you are a casual fan of sushi (and I realize most people don't know the difference), then ignore me and go have fun. If you are serious about it, do NOT go here. 4.5 star ratings lure us in - I was duped. But trust me, this is not high end sushi at all across the board. Avoid. read more

Sub-par sashimi on presentation and freshness. I had a bad feeling going in it would be. Hubby had shrimp fried rice. Nothing tasted remotely 'authentic' and whilst we did not expect it to, it would have been nice to feel some care and commitment was coming from the kitchen. Was recommended the Jack pot roll which had good flavor but the first few bites had a bit of "been in the container for too long" taste. My family and I were visiting from California. We came here two nights in a row. This place is absolutely AMAZING! I haven't stopped thinking about the sushi since we got home. Fuji House is our absolute favorite sushi spot in Biloxi. This place has the best calamari I've ever had! I really like the seasoning and vegetables that come with it. I love their fried rice too, especially the seafood fried rice. I like it more than the combination. Their baked salmon is good too. Their sushi is good. My favorite roll is the Black Dragon Roll. One thing I do not recommend is their ramen. I got the tonkotsu ramen, and while the bowl is huge, the broth was peppery, the egg had a sour taste to it, and the chashu was hard. If you're looking for ramen, try somewhere else. Upon arriving here the food looked really good and the sign mentioned "hibachi". I ordered the shrimp&chicken hibachi, California roll, beef brisket Pho, and the Chicken hibachi. When ordered, we didn't realize until we received the food that the hibachi meat was cooked in teriyaki sauce. The shrimp was delicious, however the teriyaki sauce threw off the whole meal. The California roll had no mayonnaise and was very different than an actual California roll (I'm from California), and the Thai iced tea I ordered was not strong it was light. The pho was delicious, the salad and miso soup was delicious, but the hibachi was lacking butter and taste. I would have preferred if we were notified that the hibachi meat was cooked in teriyaki sauce so me and my partner could have ordered something else and had a better experience. One of the things I really miss on keto are maki rolls. Rice is not permitted on the keto diet - no starches - and so I don't get to have them except when I cheat. Well, I was surprised to see that Fuji offers a "low carb roll" and what? The keto roll is snow crab and avocado wrapped in soy paper and then topped with tuna and salmon. NO RICE! I'm sold! Some of the best sushi I've had in a long long time, and definitely the best I've had in the south. The fish was super fresh, super tasty and it was so good we went back the next day for lunch. My wife got multiple different items in our 2 visits, I mainly stayed with the sashimi. Red Snapper was my absolute favorite. The Thai teas are good, they do have some beers and the menu was large. We've eaten here before and it was much better than it was today for lunch. We had the order to go. The sushi was very good and they give you a lot of soup, fried rice, salad, and a spring roll. However, we had the hibachi chicken, and it was extremely tough, dry and overdone. Luckily, we had a teriyaki sauce to drench it in to make a slide down a little easier. Even then it was pretty rough. Had a good flavor though? I think this is the exception rather than a rule as we've eaten here a number of other times and it was much different. The food and the costumer service was on point. Lots of assorted sushi and dinner plates that was prepared fantastical and packed with flavor.
