Terrible. Bland. Tempura means a light rice flour batter, not a hard flour batter like bad fried chicken. General Tao Chicken was not spicy AT ALL, completely flavorless. Lillie's is inside The Golden Nugget Casino. It's got an upscale feel but with down to earth prices. I had wok tossed noodles with vegetables and shrimp. The generous portion was delicious. I was able to sample my companion's entree of salt snd pepper Shrimp and scallops. Also really great. They have a nice cocktail menu. We've dined here before and was never disappointed. If yelp allowed half stars I would have given a 2.5 but since they don't had to choose between a 2 or 3 star and couldn't justify 3. Needed to grab some dinner after I checked in and Asian cuisine sounded good. The menus looked decent so thought I'd try. I order the general tso chicken. It comes with a side of white rice but for a few dollars can upgrade to fried rice. So I upgraded to the chicken fried rice. The tso chicken disappointed. Some chicken pieces were tough and dry like jerky while some was decent. About 50/50 ratio of dry and not. The flavor was good though. The chicken fried rice was good however. We always enjoy Lillie's! We always start with Hot Saki and a Mai Tai. For appetizers we normally get egg rolls and or edamame. Both are very good. The place is nice and small but I did wish they had some walls up, dividing it from the loud and chaotic noises of the slot machine and people walking by just staring at you while you eat. We ordered the house fried rice, general chicken, and a sushi roll called The Nugget which was decent, nothing mind blowing. We also ordered half a Peking duck and it was not good at all. If came out slightly cold and not crispy. Some pieces were also dry. Would not recommend the Peking duck here. The service is very nice and friendly! We ordered the Lillie, Lucky roll, Yum Yum Babe and the Godzilla roll. We are snobs when it comes to freshness and this was spot on. Our service was probably the best I've ever received. Sauce wasn't my favorite). We had ordered a sushi roll that was unmemorable. There was too much rice in the roll so it overtook the flavor. We didn't order any more rolls the second time we went.
