I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time for the all you can eat sushi and hibachi. My daughter and I went on a Saturday during lunch and it was pretty busy. We only waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. My first impression walking in was it was dark inside and the tables are VERY close to each other. We were seated in the back and the tables next to us were so close I had to walk sideways just to sit on the opposite end of our table. After about 5 minutes of sitting, our waitress took our drink order but didn't explain how things worked as far as ordering. Maybe she thought we were regulars? We did see people around us that seemed to know what they were doing but it would have been nice to ask if we've been there before. Anyways, we saw the little pieces of papers on our table and just jotted the corresponding numbers of the menu items we both wanted on this paper. When the waitress returned we gave it to her. The food would then sporadically be brought to us on small plates. One thing we realized is each person should fill in their own orders per sheet and write their seat number (seat number was written on the paper placemat where you were sitting). The food was ok. I enjoyed the salmon. The steak was inconsistent whereas the first order was tender and flavorful however the second order was tough and gristly. My daughter said the sushi was ok. It looked very simple with just raw fish on a mound of rice. She didn't care for the deep fried roll because of the batter. The lunch price is a good deal for what they offer. The only caveat is knowing what to order that's good because they have a No Waste Policy and will charge you for leftovers. Overall the price was reasonable. I didn't care how the tables were too close together and how dark it was inside. As far as service, there may have been a language barrier between our waitress because when I tried to ask a question about something on the menu (I just wanted to know how many pieces of sushi came in an order), she waved her hand and said "No" assuming she didn't know anything about the menu.

I've been here a few times and this has to be the worst service I have experienced. The food that was to be hot was cold. When the person from my party told the waiter he pops it in the microwave and now it's hot and rubbery. The sweet/sour sauce is watered down. Service was extremely slow. Wait staff standing about while customers look around for their food to come. When providing cutlery and other foods, they reach over your food to give it to the person across the from you. My throat was dry, never offered a refill on anything. Had to wait almost 30min to get the check and ring out. It was not the experience that I had come accustomed to from Fuji Sushi in days of the past.

Visiting Fuji sushi at least once a year is sort of a tradition for my family. Each summer when I come home from Alaska, we all go for the all you can eat sushi at lunchtime. You can't beat the price and the sushi is excellent. They were pretty busy this time so it did take us a while to get seated and served, but all in all it was still excellent.

The all you can eat food options are pretty good. Usually, they are so busy that the service isn't the fastest.

Very great price, good quality. The sushi is of great quality for the price. Service can be slow at times but is normally good.

Portions have decreased considerably and prices went up. I like the food, but was disappointed with last order's amount versus price paid.

She also gave me directions to the restaurant because it was in a plaza and I wasn't from the area and didn't want to be late. The omakase experience here and the sake tasting was fantastic. Every dish was so precisely made and plated and we got tonwatch it all from the Chef'scounter. We were given explanations for everything we had that night and they made everything gluten-free because two of us that night were gluten-free. The omakase is in the back of the restaurant as well sectioned off from the main restaurant and bar. The space is beautiful and it even has and outdoors seating area with a large (maybe fake) Sakura tree. They made my birthday dinner very special and I appreciated that a lot. The sake tasting was also just as fantastic. The sommolier explained every sake and even let me take a quick photo of the bottle so I would be able to remember it. The Final dish was a gluten-free cheesecake. If I lived in JAX I would come here all the time. I highly recommend it! Everyone was great and all the food was fantastic.

We love dining from Sake House 2 because the staff is genuine and attentive to you. Excellent meals, superior quality and large portion sizes! We eat-in or go through Door Dash. They always cook the steak the way you want. If the door dash doesn't allow you to customize the order, you can call the restaurant and they will update and make it the way you want, such as without vegetables or without sesame seeds. Prices are exceptional. Dine-in lunch for Teriyaki ranges from $12-$14, (with chicken teriyaki is $12). Hibachi ranges from $12-$15. Dinner for Teriyaki ranges from $16-$24 (including 2x meat, like chicken and steak $24 and chicken teriyaki being $18. We don't like sushi, but they have an extensive number of sushi and put it on bamboo boat designs for how they serve at the restaurant. It's truly a work of art!

Today I stuck it out, and I can confirm you get used to the smell haha! The service was great. My waitress was super sweet. She was really on top of it and had that knack of showing up exactly when you need her and leaving you alone for the rest of it. 10/10. The Sapporo beer was good. I got the spicy tuna roll and the Diablo roll. I LOVED the Diablo roll. The tuna roll was pretty boring- it's about half the size and about half the price. They're generous with the tuna, there's just not much going on besides that. So I would definitely recommend getting a specialty roll! Can't wait to try more in the future :)

5 stars for O-ku! One of my favorite restaurants, it's one of our go-to's for special occasions!…read more We've gone for birthdays, anniversaries, when family/friends come to visit from out of town! The food and service are consistently good every time we go and the ambience is always so fun! We've sat in the dining areas downstairs and upstairs as well as right at the sushi counter- all wonderful experiences! The food is excellent!! We usually order a few apps, a few sushi rolls to share, sometimes sushi/nigiri as well! Particular favs include the crispy rice, lobster temaki, and Oceanside, Fuego, and blazing saddles rolls, to name a few. The drinks are also amazing here! This place is the first I've seen with the option to put Parmesan cheese on your espresso martini -apparently it's a thing?!- glad I tried it though I do prefer my espresso martinis parm free...but how fun!! The Shogun and plum martini are great options...I think I've enjoyed every drink I've tried at O-ku actually, so you can't go wrong!Their drink menu is quite fun and inventive! Sake flights are a great option too! Overall: lovely ambience, the service is friendly, professional, and timely every time we go and the food is always amazing! Can't say enough good things! Suggestion to make a reservation because they do often fill up, though getting a spot at the bar is always a great option here too

When I first came in after the remodel I was skeptical, but day after day (hit after hit) Wasabi delivers. The food is AYCE and is made fresh to order. I'm a huge fan of nigiri so this is such a dea. Normally two pieces could easily be 5+ at another location. Don't like sushi? No worries! They have hibachi, tempur, soups, salad, dumplings. This is a great place to take people new to sushi who are discovering their preferences ( please consider the sweet potato sushi, it will be better than you anticipate). Please be warned, there is a price per sushi piece left behind. While I never seen the staff bring down the hammer, it is a clearly written rule. Also, if one person at the table orders AYCE then shares their food you will be charged for two AYCE (which makes sense). The interior is simple but the vibes are immaculate, super laid back and they often give small gifts during certain holidays. The AYCE is approx 16 dollars until 3, their dinner prices increase. Make sure to check their schedules times before heading over. (Try the salmon skin salad)
