First time trying this place, it's been hard to find a really good sushi spot since moving to Jacksonville and I think I finally found the spot! Food was amazing, service was great and the inside vibe was really nice! definitely recommend! :)

I see all the 5 star reviews... but it really isn't the best sushi spot in Jacksonville (try Hiro sushi, more authentic). I came on a Wed for lunch and maybe they get their fish provisions on Thursday. I ordered the lunch Sushi Regular special with 7 pieces of sushi and a California roll. The best items were the roll and salmon; however, the sushi was lukewarm (sushi should not be warm!) and the red snapper/tuna/white tuna were all super fishy. My stomach started hurting in the middle of my lunch and I had to quickly pay and leave. The service was decent but didn't make up for the poor quality of the food.

Outstanding service!! Cozy little ambiance where you can actually have a conversation and hear each other. The sushi is top tier. I absolutely highly recommend Hanna Moon sushi. Especially, if you're a sushi connoisseur! Their rolls are fresh, creative, and reasonably priced. I am so excited that they are on my side of town. I no longer feel like I need to drive to the beaches or across town for really amazing sushi. Thank you, HannaMoon for your hospitality and amazing service.

I love the ambiance of this place! It's romantic and quaint. Cozy and sexy. Such a surprise when you enter since it's in a strip mall with a gas station. There is plenty of parking but such a delight when you enter and get past the curtain. Service was phenomenal. Food comes out fast! Food was tasty, but it didn't blow me away. A definite at least try once. Even on a Wednesday the place gets crowded around dinner time. DoorDash is also a thing here. Try it.

I can't believe I've eaten here so many times and I have not reviewed this place It's in a little strip mall and dinner time you need reservations because it's small and fills up fast I have had their sushi, sashimi, and Ramen and it was all fabulous. Everything is fresh and starts quickly. There's not a bad thing that I've had here. You can't go wrong with anything you get.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! The staff is amazing and very efficient. They work together like a well trained orchestra. They happily great you as soon as you enter and whisk you into a table setting that will best accommodate your needs. Drinks come out quickly. The menu has a lot of variety. Appetizers. Hibachi, steak, chicken, seafood, veggies, rice, noodles, sashimi, and sushi both cooked and raw. Lots of different drink options cold and hot, including drinks like teas, saki, sodas, etc. They even have the cool sodas with the marble in the glass bottle. My kids always loved those. The sushi chefs are highly skilled and the presentation is stunning. It tastes authentic, well-balanced, and memorable. The hibachi entrees are portioned generously and I had leftovers, because I happily enjoyed all of my sushi first. The clear soup was tasty and refreshing. The salad was crunchy and blessed with yummy ginger dressing. The atmosphere is calm and easy to enjoy a meal with friends and family. The waitress was so kind and quick to help me clean up part of my soup after I spilled it all over my lap. I was so glad that it had cooled off some before it happened. I hope to sample one of the many varieties of saki next time as I saw several that I knew were really good. The hibachi entrees are made in the kitchen and brought out to the table. I say this to clarify that this is not the big communal setting with the chef doing his floor show. It's nice to know that this venue is a serves the same style of food but without the show, because it is easier to talk through a business meeting and go over plans on at a regular table. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised to see that this venue offers lunch specials every day of the week! Lunch Special: (Mon----Sat 11AM---2:30PM)(Sunday 12pm --3:00pm)!! Excellent value!! I can only imagine how big the dinner servings are! I would definitely need to chose sushi or hibachi and not both! I was glad to try both today since it was my first visit here. Well worth having to take home yummy leftovers!!

Located in a strip plaza you may not expect a lot from this restaurant, however it is some of the best sushi I've had in forever! The waitress was polite and helpful. There was a kind waiter walking around ensuring my water stayed full. The inside is cute and provides a comfortable atmosphere! I had the Jacksonville roll which was amazing! The Sweet Naruto roll was also so delicious, being that it's wrapped in cucumber and not rice, it is such an interesting experience and one I definitely recommend trying! I can't wait to come back and try another roll!

Came here Friday evening around 6pm. We were seated right away. Very quaint and romantic kinda place. Our server took our orders quickly and our sushi came out fast as well. I gave this place a 3star because the sushi was just okay. We each got 2 specialty rolls and 2 appetizers. Both sushi rolls were lacking flavor or some type of seasoning. The sushi didn't taste bad but it was very plain in flavor. Appetizers were good and at the end they gave a free small dessert which was nice. After reading so many previous reviews my expectations for fantastic tasting sushi felt let down a bit. Everything else about this restaurant was great but we came for the sushi.

Chicken teriyaki bento and dynamite roll

I have never been to a better sushi lunch/dinner spot been going here for on a year or maybe a little longer, very friendly servers. I've had various rolls, bento boxes, and even the hibachi they are all top notch to me, I've never been dissatisfied and always leave full for a very good price. The inside is well designed and relaxing like walking into a separate world.

It was super crispy, but the meat was still so juicy. And the sweet and creamy sauces just finished the perfect bite. The ramens were pretty solid too. The matcha broth was super creamy and light. And the tonkotsu was so flavorful, with really tender chashu and a perfectly soft boiled egg. Plus the noodles were a really good texture. The restaurant itself is really cute too. They also have a convenience store type of ramen station in the front, which I really want to try. As well as a little arcade game that you can play in the front while you wait to be seated. However, I was really not a fan of the service. It's nothing really against the servers because they were super nice, but they just seemed so frazzled. We arrived around an hour before closing, but it took forever for us to be seated, despite seeing a few empty tables around. By the time we were seated, we were told kitchen would be closing in two minutes, so we had to hurry and put in our orders. All of that was fine and I didn't mind. But what I did mind was that our waitress checked our order twice when we first have it. And she came back to our table within the next five minutes to check our orders again for a third time to make sure she had down what we wanted. I wanted the matcha ramen and was most looking forward to having some chashu and egg. So she confirmed my order three times that I wanted matcha ramen. But when it came out, she gave me the vegetable bowl. I knew the kitchen had closed at that point, so I just ate it, but I was really disappointed. (I did get to try a bite of my friends egg and chashu, which also didn't really help because it was so good and made me wish mine came with those even more.) When we were finished eating, it took forever for the checks to come out. This I also didn't mind that much, because the servers, again, looked really frazzled trying to close up. But at this point we had waited until well after their closing time, so part of me was hoping they could just close us out first and then finish closing down the place. I think we waited at least half an hour from when we first asked for the check (at which point we had already been waiting a while) to when we finally got our cards back. I did see they charged me for the vegetable version of the matcha ramen so it was whatever, but then also I was confused - so it wasn't a mix up in the kitchen, she rang it up as the vegetable one from the beginning! Even though I never mentioned it and she never said vegetable when confirming my order. It was a dollar less to get tofu instead of an egg and chashu which doesn't seem worth it. Writing this all out, I'm sorry to rant, because the food really was good. And looking at other reviews, it looks like the service is usually pretty good. But again, it was just disappointing. That being said, I am really hoping it was a one off thing because I would go again and try some other menu items too.

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. Instead I went with the pork fried dumplings and the Taiwanrse sausage. The dumplings were very average: not bad flavor but they had a flavor and were uniform in a way that suggested they came right out of a bag from the freezer. There are much better and fresher dumplings to be had in Jacksonville. The sausage, however, was quite good. It was taught, porky, and had notes of five spice & maybe cinnamon. It further reinforced my view that meat always tastes best when served on a stick! It helped bring in the final score two three stars, making up for poor service and mediocre dumplings.
