Came here because we're visiting the Weekee Wachee springs, I hate to be the negative Nancy. In the beginning, the young hostess was super lost. Didn't ask if we wanted hibachi or to just order at a booth. When we asked for a booth she walked away and left us in the middle of the restaurant waiting until her manager passed by and asked "are you guys waiting to be seated?" And we said yup! Thankfully she seated us. Left us waiting 15 minutes with out a menu. But, besides that the service sucked. They tried to charge us for 2 margaritas that were made horribly. It was just blended ice with a little liquor. No raspberry flavor like advertised. We let them know "I'm so sorry but we didn't like these. They taste watered down." The waiter ripped them away and said "so what do you want?" Bruh. Don't make me be the azzhol and have to tell you it's just constructive criticism and we are allowed to not like something. I took my man here as he had requested hibachi for his birthday. We were very disappointed. I had been here once before for lunch and the food was okay but the atmosphere was not. I guess since I was a single coming in for lunch they sent me in the back room and just wasn't very appetizing but the night we went to hibachi we were there at the grill with two other couples so that part was very nice. Those people made our evening. But my husband ordered his steak rare and I had ordered mine medium rare his came out medium basically so he was unhappy and he immediately ask the shaft about it oh that's how I cook rare the chef said. The shrimp were very rubbery because I believe he cooked them too long and my husband was pretty unhappy because it seemed like he only got three shrimp but mostly unhappy with his steak. We talked to the waiter about it and also talk to the hostess about it but nobody said we will credit you one dinner because I did eat all mine. It wasn't the best that I did but my husband only ate about half of his. And then he did not even eat his leftovers which normally leftovers are gone the next day. So I will be looking for a new hibachi grill in the future and I will not be going back. read more

The ambiance was a little lack. Just felt old and outdated. However, the service was great and the food was really good. I enjoyed the Habachi Chef, but the poor guy didn't have a real exciting crowd. It was just my partner and I, and a family of 4 who didn't engage at all. My partner and I tried to make it fun for him, but with the family not doing anything made it feel awkward. Our favorite spot, when you want a great Japanese place with a full bar this is the place to go. I can't say enough about Ray our server, after a long work week, we go in to the private dining side, (not hibachi) and I dont have to say a word, Ray knows my complete order and exactly how I like it. The food is just delicious, I always get the filet mignon and lobster tail hibachi dinner and my husband gets the sushi, what a pleasure to just sit down and be treated special and just relax and enjoy great food. This place is delicious! We've been coming here for years. The sushi is wonderful. They have a full bar. The hibachi is always so good! I get the filet cooked rare. The staff is friendly and attentive. The price can't be beat, other hibachi places are twice as much. If we go on a Friday or Saturday and there is a wait we just sit at the bar and order a cocktail. The chef and staff were humorous, and we had an enjoyable time. The food was tender and seasoned right. I had the shrimp and salmon with lobster added. Delicious and filling with the avocado salad. The ginger salad came with shrimp and salmon combo, which also included the fried rice. Talk about margaritas that's strong and taste very good. I only had one, and that was more than enough for me. I just moved to the area & came for dinner at Fujiyama as part of a seminar. I had a nice time at the Hibachi. Our server was entertaining but hard to understand as it was loud in the room. The server asked if anyone was a squirt of Saki in their mouth. I declined after I watched another customer at the table put his mouth on the bottle & suckle it. Then the server asked others to drink from the same bottle which another customer did & put his mouth on it. EW!!! The meal I selected was Hibachi Special Emperor's Entree Twin Lobster Tails. Salad, soup, fried rice, 2 shrimp & vegetables were included. The salad was small and fresh. The dressing was ample and had a nice flavor. The soup looked nice & had a nice amount of mushrooms but lacked flavor. Any hint of flavor came when I bit into a slice of green onion. The fried rice & vegetables were cooked perfectly & were delicious. The twin lobster tails were diced up & placed on my plate. Our daughter ordered the chicken fried rice--I ended up eating half of it because it was that good. Not only was the food great, but the staff were also friendly and very helpful. Everyone--from the manager to the rest of the team--was attentive and accommodating. Even the hostess pitched in, cleaning the table next to us as she seated new customers. The service art this restaurant is the worse ever, had to ask waitress 3 times for sweetener for iced tea and my granddaughter waited an hour for an order of Sushi and only got it after tracking down the waitress. Food was very salty even the soup tasted like it was made with salt water. Part of going to this type of restaurant is the cooking in front of you and our chef did very little to entertain. Just went here for my birthday and let me tell you this place is just chefs kiss. I had the best hibachi experience of my life. The chef was so funny and engaging with us all at the table, the food was amazing, the staff was very helpful, the restaurant was super clean and the wait was not long at all. Now... it is Valentines Day and the place is packed. So I am trying to give them some slack. They are just very disorganized and all over the place.
