They do charge for extra coal, the shisha comes well prepared and ready to be smoked. It was a smooth, flavourful & enjoyable experience. Now one thing I have to note, their menus is fixed, you cannot convince them to make any altercation to any item on the list nor request items (drinks) which aren't on the menu. That leads me to my next point, you cannot order sides unless you order a main. I personally don't understand why. One may not necessarily want to have a full meal late into the night but nonetheless they would not budge. The weekends are busy, reservation's recommended and they follow a strict dress code. I do believe they are setting a precedent and catering to a demographic as more of an upscale Lounge. A delicious Reuben sandwich with a side of the kale salad. And a first-rate cappuccino. I took home a vegan breakfast sandwich which I haven't tried yet but will have it for dinner. I will remember to visit Doc's again when I'm in the area again :) so good!
