I told John at the front desk about my struggle and he went to the 'cage' where insufficient address boxes are placed and went through who knows how many boxes but he found my package, John went out of his way to help me and I so appreciate that. This is the third review I have written in…read morealmost 10 yrs;but what happened to me was SO egregious that I must forewarn others, not only people who use this shipping method. but investors as well. On Thursday Dec.27th I had placed an order with a significant fee for next day delivery I had been informed that it would not be delivered until Monday ,Dec.31st, I agreed to this because the package contained cocktail dresses for my nieces wedding that evening .I checked all day and the site said it was out for delivery .A half hour before I had to leave for the wedding I called FedEx only to be told that it was not on any truck --- not scheduled for any delivery at all! When I told her that their website validated my version and how upset and disappointed I was; the FedEx representative HUNG UP on me! I have since discovered that most FedEx employees are independent operators---sub contractors. which really do not have a vested interest in a company that pays them; but in no way provides any benefits (med, dental, vacation.retirement ect) What a downfall from what was such a proficient shipping service to this pitiful shell of what was .Especially at this time of internet commerce!!! UPS tracking said package was at the Lakewood site, I called their customer service number for help…read morewith the tracking and to see if pick up might be facilitated. The UPS call center number transferred me to a foreign call center which was zero assistance. They instead told me to contact UPS. When I said I dialed UPS they said they are just a call center and know nothing and can do nothing. They couldn't even answer questions about the tracking info on the website. Couldn't even go over to the Lakewood, Nj location to get questions answered as they won't even open till 1pm. UPS clearly does not care about customer service by having competent people available to answer questions during regular business hours. I called after 9am and there was no one to help.

This is a direct signature required package and the driver has 0 cares. Theres no way to leave feedback for the location or the driver. The 800 number is foreign and fairly useless unless you get a supervisor. Also, the app doesn't update the arrival time based on driver location. So what are we supposed to do with those delivery windows? Insanity.
