So. I have been going here for years and it has always been a solid place for good food and good drinks. Tonight was no different! Taco Tuesday, $2 a taco min order of 3. For 6 bucks, you just can't go wrong. AMAZING!!! Now just to let you in on a little bit of good info, they have daily specials, in fact Thursday is clams and shrimp boil!! To be honest, all the food here is very good and not overpriced! As for the service, wait staff is great and super friendly and the bartenders are awesome, especially Ann who I have known for many years here! And yes, she DOES know how to pour a Guinness!!!!! Only went here once before and remembered the really good hamburgers we had there, so we figured we would try again. We ordered another pepper Jack burger and a surf and turf burrito. The burrito was very tastey. Nice large shrimps in it and flavorful taco line meat. Very nice sized burrito. Onion rings were perfect! Tempting to say what building I'm fatasizing about this happening to.... It's in Montrose, NY. I had my first drink there. I stopped there after my parents wakes and funerals. I met my husband there. I celebrated milestone birthdays there. I caught up with old friends, and made new ones. I stopped there after we walked my good friend Big Daddy. I stopped there after we waked/ buried my friend and boyfriend Chris Johnston. I celebrated after my High School reunion. I've watched Super Bowls, celebrated St Patrick's Day, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve....etc. Apparently, the opinion of a 5 year bartender and her groupies that she is over serving and FREE POURING is more important than all of that. First time back in awhile, CV19 has really put a damper on indoor dining. Nonetheless it was Wednesday and I was (as always) jonesing for Prime Rib (rear of course!). We waltzed in early in the evening and was pleasantly surprised that we could dine without worrying about other patrons. My Prime Rib was delicious and the two pours of 'Flower Power' made me reminisce about at time not so far away...... The quality of my meal FAR superseded that of another establishment in which the Rib was very tough. Fulgums serving was tender and moist and met my expectations of a well prepared steak. Cut with my own Lagioule knife, it was perfect and if I could would've clobbered the other cut (my wife's ) con mucho gusto! We are already looking forward to another venture! read more

Went within the last month or so with friends and we sat at the bar and tried items off the menu. I was hella surprised how great everything was! The Mac and cheese was homestyle feel good and not boxed like I normally would have expected. Had a Ruben that was kickass delicious and packed full o meats and the mozz sticks were equally as great. I travel to the area for work a lot and I was looking for a different place to eat. Had the wings, they were very dry. I would not order them again. Sat at the bar and if you are not a regular don't expect good service. Bar tender walked by several times with my empty glass in front of me and she did not say a word. Got a regular a drink without him even asking. I sat there for about 15 minutes while the bar tender walked by several times and then stood 10 ft from me talking to the regulars. I had to ask her for a drink. I did see a waitress covering the tables around the bar and she looked like she was checking in with people regularly. Maybe the solution is not to sit at the bar? Stopped here on the way home from a day at Bear Mountain. This place had what we were looking for: outdoor seating and good sandwiches w/ fries. It appears to be a place popular with locals. Service was friendly. The food was everything we were looking for. And they tolerated our modifications to the menu (we always substitute something)! read more

Great local bar/restaurant food is always excellent staff has been nothing but super friendly. It's a place where you can go with your kids have dinner and not worry about drunks harassing you. The place has about 10 TVs with sports always on. In the summer you can sit outside and eat and enjoy yourself. If you look you will always see the two owners working non stop those guys bust their butts and for the most part will always come over and ask how everything is when you are sitting down eating. The prices are also very affordable When they have specials I'd suggest ordering them because they usually are worth it and are awesome read more

I can't describe how bad it was,maybe the locals when they drink in a heavy mood,they'll even eat a pile of .... Starting off the quesadillas were not to good or bad,them after a bunch of no this no that,wife when with regular wings that were dry as dry as can be,maybe after drinks and a mess of sauces,hmmmm,but NO! Me a Panne la vodka with some sprinkle dry chicken and bang! A crappy meal is made. I asked the Waitress if the cook drunk because it was horrible,to tap it off,we were sitting outside under the tent for a guy on a dirt bike to drive thru almost crash and drop all the food on the floor,WOW! So all these people that write reviews,thank the fulgum brothers that the food sucks and stop putting more then 2 stars. My wife and I always loved going to this restaurant/bar. But after tonight we came to realize that one of the bartenders (Pam) was stealing our friends cash off the bar. Then she had the audacity to say he owed money to his tab!! When the 5 of us knew and saw that he had MORE than enough money earlier. Pam should be fired on the spot for stealing from local veteran!! Any one who knows him, knows he wouldn't do what "she" said he did!!! read more

It's a true local establishment, so if you go in you're bound to see someone you went to high school with. I came here with some fellow Hen Hudders over Thanksgiving break and grabbed some of the wings and beers on tap. Everything was pretty tasty, and the clam chowder especially was really good. The issue with Fulgum's is that you get a bit of stink-eye if you walk in and are seen as an outsider, like we were, despite the fact that all of us went to the high school across the street...oh well. read more

The last time I was at Fulgrum's (1AM on a friday night in September) it sure seemed like it was a gay bar. There was a group of 5-8 young men at one end of the bar who looked and acted like they were from deep in the hood but had thrown on their nicest Tommy Hillfiger shirts...then they played 8 different songs from Britney Spears, the Spice Girls and Christina Agulera. Then at the other front corner of the bar was a very intoxicated guy who kept falling all over his two male companions. The long sides of the bar were flanked by 2-4 non-descript people on each side. Then there was us, three guys and two girls, just looking to have a few beers, watch the Yankee game and have fun. The bartenders (two young ladies) were both beautiful and fun, and tried as hard as they could to take good care of us. One of them even found the urban gentlemen in the front corner's choices in music so offensive she turned the jukebox down twice! The food is pretty good, the beers are cold and good, its all about the crowd. I remember when it was a vibrant young place where a straight couple didn't feel awkward.....I sure hope I was just there on an off night.... read more

I will never go back to this place on 12/08/18 Kevin the bartender changed my music because I was the only Hispanic in the bar and i played Spanish music. I requested a refund and in less than 1 min He came with $2. It shows that this place discriminates against Hispanics. I never felt this way in all my 29 years of life. Btw it's my birthday. All he said was it's your birthday and we gave you a drink. But I paid for all my drinks, That night. If you're Hispanic, I wouldn't recommend you going to this place or of any race in this case. We are one! Doesn't matter what race, nationality or sexual orientation. If you have Ms. Ann as a bartender please respect her she was kind and respectful! read more

We live close, so this is a regular spot for us. Food is always delicious and burgers ALWAYS come with an obscene amount of fries (not that I'm complaining!). The Maniac burger- complete with hash browns and an egg- lives up to its name and it delicious. Definitely a "townie" place, but from what I've seen, the staff is super friendly everyone. read more

Recently noticed the increase in traffic here so we decided to order some food to try it out. One thing for sure is that you get plenty of food. Had a Manic Burger w/ American cheese, bacon, hash brown, and fried egg. Was delicious. Would have preferred my egg cooked a bit lighter for that yummy ooze but it was still fantastic. Great beef and excellent bun to go with it. The usual lettuce, tomatoe and side pickle to go along. Had some curly fries to go along with but theres rarely anything special about curly fries. My girlfriend had a burger as well cooked to perfection. Completely satisfied. Completely stuffed. Will repeat business for sure. read more

I never opt for a night at fulgums...but this one time a few weeks ago, that's where the night ended. I walked in and was immediately greeted by what smelled of vomit. That was enough for my brother and I not to get a drink. People were standing right in front of the door smoking which was just coming right into the bar, and nothing was done about it.
