Found this place on our way home from a retreat at graymoor up the road. Greeted immediately by the bartender and she invited us to sit at the bar. Good mix of drafts. Ended up getting the Octoberfest. Solid menu with lots of variety. Ordered the Rueben which was excellent. Tiny little complaint was the onion rings were just ok. Little too wide and not crispy. Not enough to drop my rating though Since we we were there on a Sunday they had live music which just added another level of awesome to the roadhouse vibe. Been here many times and the food and service has always been great. You have to try their Philly cheese steak. and their seafood is alway fresh. They have a band there every once in a while. in the warm weather they have outside dining. You will not leave there hungry trust me. read more

Hand battered onion rings knocked me off my chair; that was until I tasted the hand cut and battered chicken tenders, waffle and collard greens. Fresh ground beef burger served on a toasted brioche roll with Super crispy sweet potato fries and savory house made coleslaw. A delicious, generous and frosty martini; made by the handsome owner. You have got to try their waffle fries here. They are amazing and my mother loves them and she's not a huge fan of waffle fries nor am I. I'm a standard give me my regular fry and we're good to go, but they definitely put you on your toes with that one. The food is delicious and their burgers are very very Delicious as well. The staff is very nice and inviting and there is always something going on at the red line roadhouse. They just organized recently in the back and it looks super nice. Very nice for you to be able to sit down and actually eat. Any questions you may have staff is very friendly and able to assist you and answering all your questions and I like that about this place Doesn't surprise me. Drove up from Long Island as is our ritual just for the food here. It is fantastic. And a second surprise they have renovated and the dining are looks great. We frequent 2 German restaurants on Long Island but nothing compares to the Red Line Roadhouse. read more

Hadn't been there in 3 years and stopped in again because I heard it was under new management. They added an outdoor tiki bar and the place looks great! Food, drinks, and service were wonderful! Have passed this place many times and tonight decided to stop in. The outside is a great space, the music is fantastic, and the staff introduce themselves and shake hands. A friendly neighborhood bar with kitchen...the kind of place that's slowly disappearing. New owners of this ex-biker bar. From my first-time visit, I found friendly people and many regular patrons. Menu plus specials. Enjoyed the Mushroom and Swiss burger cooked medium rare, as ordered Small gripe: Only one brewski on tap: Stella Artois. Was informed that they lack a basement for other draught beers. Too bad. Kudos: Bartender insisted on Uber ride home for one couple. And they complied. Verizon Wireless is a dead-spot in the area, so most helpful that they have free Wi-Fi. read more

I heard about the Redline at a Bike night from a patron last night. It was raining today, so I was intrigued about what he said and took a ride to plot out my route for Redline's bike night. Met JoAnne who was the nicest and most attentive bartender I have seen in quite sometime. I normally ask for a double in a pint glass...she says double??? And without prompting comes back in a pint glass! I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and my partner had the Chicken Tacos. Not sure who was writing negative reviews about the food or this place but they are wrong..It is going to be a destination for us going forward! read more

Although it took nearly an hour after ordering for our food to come, at least, when it did, it sucked. The burger was tasteless. The chicken cutlet in the sandwich must have been microwaved because it was rubbery. The music is so loud you can't hear the person next to you. What a chef-owned gem! This was my second time and was elated. The regulars at the bar may feel a little intimidating when first walking in but don't let that stop you from enjoying a really good meal. Mary the bar tender waved us to a nice table. We were greeted with menus by the waitress within minutes. AND IT"S A SPECIAL OCTOBERFEST MENU! I love sauerbraten and this was really really good. The spaetzle and red cabbage YUMMO!!! As I was leaving I was able to thank the chef Jordan who gave me a generous sample of his cucumber salad- omg crunchy tasty deliciousness! So kind and generous of him. My husband and I stayed longer just chatting with him. So go now and have a great meal. BTW husband had a terrific burger. We will return and thank you Jordan for turning a disaster of a dining night in Peekskill to a wonderful evening for us. read more

We passed this place a thousand times and had our reservations on coming here based on its appearance. But after reading the twenty plus, 5 star reviews on yelp we figured we would give it a shot. Perhaps this place really does have good food? Boy we're we wrong. We ordered the appetizer sampler to start. The wings seemed undercooked and not crispy which worried me because I'm pregnant. The marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks had a fishy taste to it. I didn't really eat much more of the platter after that as I was put off by it. We both got burgers cooked medium for our entrees. They looked tasty and I had a few bites. Then I realized the burger was raw and so was my husbands! Again, I'm pregnant and this really worried me. We waited for the waitress to come check in on us but 20 minutes had went by. At this point I was feeling kind of sick. I went to bathroom and there was no sink with running water due to "renovations". I thought to myself, who is washing their hands then after using the bathroom? At this point we got the check, paid cash and got the hell out of there. Lesson learned. We can't really trust the yelp reviews for the restaurants in this area. How people gave this place 5 star reviews and raved about how the food is "AMAZING!" really baffles me. I grew up in Queens where the food really is good and diverse and the fact that people compared this place to places in the city is highly laughable and strange. We came here for the food and left very happy and will definitely be coming back! It's a regular biker bar but with AMAZING food. We had the bratwurst and it was so good. Large serving. Walked in and bartender greeted us and directed us to sit at any of the free tables (whole place had 6 or 7 tables) and said that the waitress would be right with us. It's so funny to see some of the Squires reviews. Squires is more than a bar / restaurant, it's a community of great people that can be silly at times so if you're so sensitive and don't have the social skills to make the most of it, you should probably go to some stuffy, stiff restaurant that serves food that's half the quality you'll get at Squires.
