    Hudson River views!

The Brunch was Excellent! The Ying Yang roll was absolutely delicious the ingredients were perfectly balanced with shrimp, avocado, white rice with a thin layer of filet mignon around the outside of the roll!! The desserts are also made in-house my there pastry chef. The service was excellent! The ambience is amazing with some of the best of the Hudson River. The sunsets are breathtaking.

Visiting in the area we decided to check out Fin & Brew. It was pretty empty since the weather was really bad. So we easily got a table. The hostess and server were both very friendly. The menu was smaller than we expected, but the items that we ordered were very tasty. We ordered a few things to try out. presentation and food were really good. We will be back when the warmer weather arrives and we can dine outside.

Another great dinner here. Food was great but the atmosphere is even better. Beautiful waterfront spot.

How is it that I haven't been to Fin & Brew before? I feel like it is such a lost opportunity. I'll have to make up for it going forward. And.... The view.... I had PEI oysters and little neck clams with horseradish, vinegar, lemon and was offered Tabasco by the chef. They were all very fresh and tasted great with perfect chews. I then had the beer mussels, which were cleaned well, cooked well, and had a great beer sauce. Definitely dip-worthy sauce. The sushi is like high-end NYC-quality sushi. I had a spicy tuna roll, which was fresh and had a kick. I was so impressed with the freshness, I decided to give them the real test by ordering Ikura sushi and Toro sushi. Both were spot on, great tension in the Ikura, and a meltiness with the toro. The beer selection was also well curated. I enjoyed my Timontorne maibock. The chef came out to speak with us and talk us through how they source and prepare the food. He was extremely passionate about his menu, the sushi, food quality, and whether we enjoyed the meal. I will definitely be going back, often. Service was attentive, friendly, and accurate. Remember to tip well!

We had the up in smoke and spiced Paloma (both could've used more smoke and spice) and the main squeeze (sort of old fashioned)

I just can't believe how every meal I have here is so delicious. Truly underrated gem! Another amazing meal tonight and we got to eat outside which was perfection.

It was a good decision to come by here. Great view from the top. We were blessed with beautiful weather on todays visit. The menu is quite limited. We came in during an after meal time meaning just right after our lunch. So we opted to go for light meal ...sushi, clams and sangria were worth the try. I have enjoyed the uniqueness of our food and drinks. Simple yet tasty. The staff is nice. The restaurant location is easy to find and has plenty of available parking. The Hudson view from the restaurant top is so beautiful. Will I go back? Yes , if we are in the area.

We needed some brunch/lunch on our drive up from NYC to Shokan, and I found this place on Yelp. The reviews don't lie; this restaurant is the BOMB. Also prIces are super reasonable, at least during brunch, and you get pretty good value on money. Chef Jon Anastacio is so friendly and came out to chat with us. Our server Kerri gave us excellent service. The restaurant was very accommodating to my food intolerance and triple checked to make sure I could eat everything. And they brought us extra baguette sticks for the seafood broth. Excellent experience overall - would come back.

Has reservations for 7:15pm. showed up at 7:22pm. Was told we could sit at the bar while we waited for our table to be ready. As we waited at the bar, we noticed a couple of people that came after us were seated before us, and they had later reservations. We had to make the host aware that we were still waiting and that she was seating people before us. As for the food. It was sub-par for the prices. Very sub-par. Granted, I will say that their Bordeaux was very good. But as for the food, I asked for a medium steak, and I received medium rare. The steak was very chewy. The side of potatoes was an extra $14. So I didn't order those, thankfully. The appetizer (pork belly stir fry) was good, that's about it. The desert was just ok I probably won't be back for the food. This place doesn't have many options of fish, btw.

After getting boxed out of New Years Eve dinner from Tarrytown north, my small group found Fin and Brew in Peekskill in far northern Westchester on the Hudson River. While we could not enjoy the Hudson River views on the stormy foggy night, we could enjoy our fantastic last dinner of 2022. Mike, the Executive Chef who came out to introduce himself at the end of his artfully prepared five course dinner received high praise from the four of us. Also compliments on his original and yummy cocktails! We will definitely return to sample more of Mike's delectable food!

There are signs outside by the parking "1 hour parking". What if it takes them 40 minutes before they realize you're NOT waiting for the Metro North train! Which has its own waiting area. Didn't know if I was supposed to order at the counter, where there were a few people floating around by the cash register, and they would bring it to me, or a waitperson would eventually show up. Part of the problem is they have two outdoor seat areas, a bar area, a bistro area, and a main dining room, that has to be covered. They also sell a lot of small items to people getting off at the Metro North train station. The portions are smaller than expected. The steak sandwich comes with fries, but some pickles and coleslaw would be a nice addition; because there's not much meat in it. Even trying to settle the bill as a major operation. I definitely would not return.

We all choose an entree from the very reasonably priced, Lobster Fest menu. Many entrees included either a choice of 3 different salads (Asian, Beet, or Garden) or the Soup of the Day (Creamy Tomato with Tortellini) - each were Yummy, and a choice of 3 desserts (Lemon Cake, Rum Cake or Ice Cream) - Not Bad! (Psst! We asked for Cake WITH Ice Cream and were happily granted our wish!) Our main selections for entrees were Lobster & Shrimp Newburg, and Baby Lobster Tails & Scallops Fra Diavolo over Papadella Pasta. Those who had the Newburg were very happy and those of us who had the Fra Diavolo were a little disappointed. The sauce and pasta were very good but the "mini lobster tails" were tough and tasteless and the scallops few and very miniscule. (The seafood was unlike any were had ever had and made us wonder, Are these REALLY lobster tails? and scallops?). Overall, service was very friendly, pleasant, and aimed to please, but was extremely slow. We suspect, the kitchen was to blame. We delighted in having our own private room where we were able to converse without the need for shouting or needing to say, I'm sorry - what did you say? Such a pleasure these days! We'll likely be back but won't run back. Hope to see perhaps an Octoberfest Menu in the Fall.

Various dishes our group had included a breakfast sandwich with sausage; an omelette, which was probably the healthiest option of what folks got; a cheeseburger; someone else got a French dip kind of sandwich. French fries were fought over -- so also a thumbs up for them. Again, I was the outlier in our group and in other reviews so I do plan to return to give it another chance.
