I passed by this salon everyday and think i would try them today. What an OMG epic experience for the first time to make haircuts appointment! called but directed to make appointment online, and basically the calendar show no availability for current month and next months for haircuts appointment... texted them back about the results and they finally replied with the availability for next day appointment. confirmed the appointment and set on my calendar. Then at much later time received text message asking for $25 deposit for haircuts appointment before point of service using Venmo! and the business owner called and said this is his business new policy, if no deposit no appointment..... Honestly, this is poor customer service and i never have to make deposit for an haircuts appointment even for the most expensive hair salon in Hollywood on the first haircuts appointment! At this point i don't care how good is the haircuts experience that other provided on review. This is really crazy, and wasted time! Once again Teresa does it again! Made my hair look amazing! This is the 4th event she has helped fill me up for! During Covid times she makes sure everything is clean and sanitized! Worst customer service ever!!!! I had an appointment for a Saturday at 8am. Waited for 15 minutes and left because the door was locked and no answer when I called their numbers. I had an event and don't have time to waste waiting for someone to show up. Their excuse was that they were sanitizing before opening and were running late. Plus they had the audacity to tell me I would have been done in plenty of time. I don't see how, were they going to spend less time on me for the same price. ? Saw their ad on craigslist and made an appointment within days. This is one of the best haircuts I've ever had because there was no lengthy overlapping which is what happens when a barber is fixing a bunch of their own mistakes, I was in and out in 20 minutes. Perfectly done so well that I took a picture of my head in the mirror to show any future hair cutters how I want it to look. They sterilized their equipment in front of me and wore a mask so I didn't have to. Good conversation and a well priced haircut. The owner was nice, and she did my hair herself. She took more then twice as long as she told me it would take, and though she did good with what she did, she didn't do what I asked her to do. Since it took so long I didn't have time to wait for her to fix it. Though I like her personally, and feel bad for writing this review I cannot in good conscience give her a better one. In response to your reply, my hair had not been previously color treated, it was not a correction, In your words it was virgin hair. I don't have an issue with the highlights you did, I just wanted what I asked for which was an ombré with highlights. After explaining that to you, you told me that was called a balayage. Since you were the professional I took your word for it. I asked at that time if my ends were going to be light and you said they would be. Two hours in when you had done quite a few highlights but had not started my ends I asked again "my ends are going to be light right?" And you said yes. A couple hours later when I was very late to picking up my children and you were assuring me that you were finishing up I asked again "my ends are going to be light right?" And you said "well not totally". At that point I didn't have time to stay any longer. I still didn't know what it was exactly going to look like because I didn't have time to stay for you to fully dry it. The highlights you did don't look bad, but all I have are a bunch of highlights. No ombré. As for your confusion about my comment on your personality. To clarify I thought you were nice, I had an interesting conversation with you. I thought it was neat that you had that silly machine that shakes the fat off your body. I liked your personality, I just didn't get what I wanted, or what I asked for. This past Saturday, I had a last minute idea to get a blowout. I did some research on Yelp and found this dry bar as well as two others. I truly wanted this to work because of the stellar reviews and proximity to my home, so I waited until they opened to attempt booking an appointment. I called at 10:01 am to see if there were any available appointments especially being a Saturday and the one before Halloween on top of that. I was initially asked to call back but then asked if there was someone else who could check appointment availability. The gentleman responded they had just opened, were too busy to check appointments, and asked for my name and phone number to call back in 10-15 minutes when they had time. ....ok... I waited the 15 minutes and by 20 minutes I started booking an online appointment with another nearby dry bar. Coincidentally, I received a call back right after I finished booking. Although I did appreciate the returned phone call, the less than stellar experience on the phone could have been better. I ended up thoroughly enjoying the ease of booking an online appointment and the appointment itself at the other dry bar. read more

I'm sure the owner has been dreading my review, but I have to save the next person from this. I used full blown as a place for my bridesmaids and me to get ready at before the wedding. However, our entire experience ended up just being a headache. I have listed the many reasons why below... -Very difficult to get pricing to determine desired services. They kept saying they'd call the manager and get back to us but we had to keep calling to ask. -My 1st trial for hair AND make-up stylist and artist last day at salon. -I had to go back for another trial and the manager still charged full price. -At my second trial she couldn't even find her eyelash curler and asked if it is bad if she just doesn't curl my eyelashes. I said well if you can't find it then I guess we just can't. -We called to schedule my Grandmother's trial and when we got there it was not booked -They double charged for my grandma's trial by mistake with NO apology -My mom would attempt to discuss bridal party plan, crew and timing but she was brushed off -my mom asked "When can I stop by to discuss...?" And got no response. 16 hours later my mom said "I guess I'll stop by on my lunch hour tomorrow" and Teresa (the owner) have an immediate response of "I'll be busy with my client...wouldn't want you to waste your lunch" She should've just said, "but you're more than welcome to stop by later this evening so we can discuss your concerns"?  The day of my wedding we were completely rushed for some of the bridal party due to a couple unfamiliar stylists being hired and had to leave early. We asked many times if it was truly necessary to get there so early and they insisted it was. Done at least 2 hours ahead of limo arrival so all plans had to be changed. The owners promised us champagne or mimosas on the day of the wedding but didn't even have it. Father of the bride making trips to pick up bridal party since the limo had to be re-directed. Again....still no apology!  Right after we left, one of the bridesmaid's makeup was flaking off her cheek on the way to the wedding! Because she hired artists and hair stylists that don't work with her, they were using cheap makeup. My bridesmaids could've done their own makeup if we knew they'd us such cheap products. Yikes...stay away from this place. Especially for any important events! read more
