Ok, I'm on here doing my annual-ish nerd out about my arborist (Brennon at Full Canopy Tree Care.) The front pic shows this huge random branch that decided to break yesterday and dangle threateningly by a thread. I texted Brennon and he had his peeps come get it down from there at no charge. It's like it never happened. I decided while I was composing this post to also include progress on my back yard. A couple years ago Brennon cut down that broken Bradford Pear on the far right, while I was on vacation. (I'm so grateful to not be present for the process of taking down another elderly tree.) The two little volunteer trees in the boxes are ones Brennon helped me pick out to replace the bigger tree. I get hundreds of volunteers back there every year, and Brennon has taught me what to look for when selecting ones to keep or cut down. So, for example, in this picture there's a redbud that wont mind being an understory tree to that oak, which will work out well because of the direction of light for most of the day. And that oak has a perfectly straight single trunk with branches that radiate nicely and don't cross each other. When it overtakes the redbud enough they wont interfere with each other. The reason they got so big in two years is because Brennon has been fertilizing them with this liquid he formulates. They come by to do the burr oak they planted in the front yard, and they add on the babies for free. I think I've have 5 baby trees we're working on growing up to replace 4 old trees. I've been working with them for almost five years. They always find a few ways each year to show they appreciate me. It's really nice. read more

My wife and I moved up to the Anderson Mill area last October and the home we chose has several large trees. We looked into multiple tree care companies for pruning of our larger trees and the only one that gave us a warm fuzzy feeling that our trees would be pruned properly was Full Canopy so we decided to use them. They are a bit more pricey then some of the others but it is more then worth it with the professionalism and knowledge of the staff and owner Brennon. We were only able to do our one large tree in the front this time around but will without a doubt have them back for the others that need it. Our tree looks happy again and if you would like yours to look happy as well, I would recommend these folks over and over again. Since this is a review, the only thing I have to critique is that I was not given an option to pay online on their website or on the email they sent with the bill but with that said, the only real hassle is actually buying stamps for the first time in a long while and since I am at HEB more then a few times each week I guess it is not that bad! I don't have enough words to describe how amazing their service and professionalism is. I called them out for a palm tree pruning and they did such an excellent job with everything. Initially I was a little concerned because the job was pricier than I had thought, but honestly it was absolutely worth it! I've had quite a bad experience with other tree care specialists in the area and these guys just made the experience beyond pleasant. Their work was thorough and clean and they also educated me about what they did, what I can do to properly take care of the tree and also taught me about other trees in my backyard! I will absolutely use full canopy tree care again in the future, not a single doubt about it! read more

This is my first yelp review because Brennan and his team are fantastic! He took the time to walk the property with me, asking me lots of questions and giving me valuable information to make sure I was well informed and that we were on the same page. The crew was professional, friendly, cleaned up, and completed the work even in terrible weather! I was left my property before the end of the work, and there was one thing was missed (clearing a brush filled walkway). When I contacted Brennan about it almost a month later (I hadn't even noticed!) he had a crew there in less than an hour and made sure I was satisfied. Seriously the best customer service I have experienced in a long time!! They really care for your trees too! I couldn't be happier. read more

After discovering oak wilt on our property, I sent out emails to 4 tree service companies, all with certified arborists who also had certification in oak wilt management, along with a photo of leaves from the infected live oak. That was about 7:30 pm one evening and I received a call from Brennon a couple of hours later! He was out of town but said he could stop by late the next day upon his return. So at 7 pm on a Friday night he surveyed our trees and the neighbors closest to the infected tree. His professionalism and knowledge won us over, and on Monday morning he had a crew out to begin our treatments! We notified neighbors and he reviewed several properties on either side of us. He ended up treating 5 properties in total, and actually had to convince some of the other neighbors that they did NOT need treatment at this time! He found the infection had begun in the common area adjacent to our lots. When I notified the Community Association, they had him evaluate that area also, and develop a plan for treatment. We have no doubt hiring Full Canopy was the best decision we could have made for such a serious problem. They will be the only company we will call in the future for any of our tree service needs! read more

My husband and I are so incredibly pleased with the service of FULL CANOPY TREE CARE. Their knowledge and professionalism on cutting down a tree, their awesome detail in the cutting and clearing off of the cut debris went above and beyond. They cared so much about our fig tree - they gave us advice on when we should prune it, and which branches not to prune. They were genuinely concerned with keeping the health AND the overall aesthetic look of the tree. They educated my husband on how to hang birdfeeders correctly so as not to hurt the tree. They were absolutely awesome, as for 35 years of having people trim our trees, I have never had a tree company give us this much information with such a personal and professional touch. Our yard looked more tidy after they left ! I even asked one of the guys to trim my hedge. A briar vine was growing amongst the hedge and this man took out a pair of hand clippers and got the entire briar out of the hedge and made the hedge look beautifully - he trimmed the top all the way across to make it look like it was natural, not just clipped ends. It was unreal that he had taken the time to do this. I have recommended them to everybody we talk to and have told friends not to mess around with just people that want to chop their tree. Had a dead Ash in my backyard that was splitting and so I hired a tree service to trim it down to where it would not be a threat to my home or my neighbors. The crew made it worst by cutting out the middle branches and leaving only two large branches on each side making it more a danger. The crew packed up and left without finishing. When I called they said it was too dangerous. I called Brennon at Full Canopy and he came out gave me a bid. He and a crew showed up on time and they cut it down safely and cleaned up. Would use them again for sure. Makes a big difference using a professional. read more

Brennon was recommended by They Might Be Monkeys because my large hackberry was too dangerous to cut down without a lift. Brennon came out quickly and assessed the situation and then squeezed the job into his busy schedule to get it down before it fell on the house or a person. They did a great a quick job and he was very understanding and kind about me wanting to keep a stump since this was the tree that attracted all my birds. He even called after all was done to apologize for accidentally putting some pieces in the chipper that I wanted to keep. The clean up guys did great and all was cleared. I had an outstanding experience with Brennon and his crew when they cleared limbs and took out dead and encroaching wood from my beloved oaks. He's obviously knowledgeable about oak wilt and oak tree care, and was generous in sharing his knowledge so I could make informed decisions. I'd had disappointing experience with another certified arborist in town (not calling back, slow in sending bids, etc), and Brennon was very prompt in calling, scheduling a bid, and getting work done. His crew was polite, did exactly what I'd asked, and more. And the cleanup was thorough. He also pointed out other important work that needed to be done eventually to reduce risks of injuries to other trees, but clearly wasn't pressuring. I will absolutely work with him again, and found him to be honest, sincere and hard working. If you love your trees, you should give them a try. read more

We experienced the fall of a big limb on our roof during last weeks storm, and called Full Canopy to get it removed. We have been having them do our tree trimming for a number of years and have always been quite impressed. But this was a difficult job to do without harming the roof. They came through with flying colors. Not only were they at the house the day after the storm to size up things but returned the day after that to complete a complicated job made more so by the landscaping of our backyard. By the end of the day, the only thing we knew was that a limb had magically disappeared from the tree in question. No marks on the roof, no debris left on the ground, no collateral damage at all. Brennan led his crew with expertise and good cheer. Needless to say, they will continue to be our arborists. read more

Brennan is team are pros. Brennan is a certified arborist any takes the profession very seriously. Some of my trees needed trimming and two were struggling following the construction of my new home. I could not afford the injections after home purchase, but they gave me instructions on long term care. That was 11 years ago and the trees are doing great! Thank you full canopy tree care! read more
