We stayed here and rented out the whole place for our wedding. Tom and Debby, the owners and innkeepers, couldn't have been more welcoming and warm. They were amazing during the entire wedding planning process, very accommodating during our stay, and helpful as we were moving things around setting up for the wedding. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking! We can't wait to stay again soon, just to get away from the city and see the sunset.

All the comforts of home...and more. This beautiful B&B in the desert is visually stunning. The owners have exquisite tastes...and speaking of tastes...breakfasts are YUMMY!!! I had blueberry French toast, a divine quiche, a unique version of eggs benedicts...all beyond delicious. The B&B is in the desert and my room was Casita with a beautiful large back porch that faced the desert, which meant I saw sunrise every morning and moon rises at night. It's was quiet and serene and a perfect place to escape to relax and disconnect. It's just 45 minutes north of Phoenix, so for me it was a perfect place to stay after visiting Sedona for a few days. This is horse country, and the B&B even have stables for their guests who come with horses. The town of Cave Creek is adorable in a western way. Seems it hasn't changed too much in years, although the restaurants, bar and stores are up to date and very nice. I'll be back!!!!

This restaurant is located in old town - it is a quaint cottage-style home surrounded by greenery creating a peaceful oasis in the city. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful evening. We ordered a glass of wine and were served complemintary homemade bread (an amuse bouche). Next, we ordered an appetizer - their whipped feta with chili infused olives & focaccia bread - outstanding! They had a special menu for restaurant week, which I ordered the seared duck breast; my wife went with the regular menu and chose the seared salmon. Both dishes were artistically crafted, and well-executed. For dessert, we had the toasted hazelnut torte, and the chocolate torte w/Ube Gelato, a perfect way to end an excellent dining experience. A big shout out to Tommy as he delivered a phenomenal performance as our server! I would highly recommend a visit to "The House" for any occasion.

The atmosphere felt warm, intimate, and perfect for a special occasion. For dinner, I ordered the scallops and they were cooked perfectly. So flavorful and tender. My sister got the California Sol, which she loved just as much. We shared the crab cakes to start, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor inside. I had a mocktail that was refreshing and thoughtfully made, while my sister enjoyed one of their cocktails. And to top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for her birthday, which was such a sweet and memorable touch. The service, the food, the ambiance...everything was five-star. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a really elevated dining experience.

Entered the premises and were greeted by a very gregarious staff that made our stay here extra pleasant. The place is huge, with a large outside covered area. Booths are on the inside. The menu is gigantic with every conceivable breakfast selection. Having grown up in the NY Metro area, I went straight to the bagel cream cheese and lox which came open faced with the works and in a must appetizing presentation. Must be said that the Bialys in their name is from the historic recipe that the Ashkenazi people works cook their bagels in the city of Byalistock, Poland, before the Holocaust. The bagel isn't boiled and therefore has a much chewy consistency and is also delicious. One of the best breakfasts ever.

We're visiting from Tucson so we don't get to this area that much.First of all, Tiffany delivered awesome service! She was extremely welcoming and accommodating, got our coffees and menus quickly, checked on us periodically, gave great menu guidance, and had a really friendly personality. She should be a bartender if she hasn't been one before. She's easy to talk to and made the dining experience that much better. I had the open faced lox on sesame bagel and it was excellent - and QUARTERED! They're not messing around with open faced here, not two halves but four easy to maneuver quarters! The lox itself was perfect - not too salty, no black spots, fresh and smooth. Freshly sliced cucumber, red onion, capers, and the bagel itself was excellent! Usually it's all about the top and the toppings but the bottom was better than most bagels I've had outside New York. Nice and crispy bottom but the inside was soft and JUST a little chewy (as I believe it should be). I liked the breakfast potatoes, they were nicely seasoned and crispy but again soft on the inside. The potato salad was pretty good too - nice consistency and good flavor, maybe could be a little more heavily seasoned but that's really nit picky because it's hard enough to get the texture right. Coffee was very good, even the decaf. But the to-go cups? I'm in love with the lid. It fit securely but the little flap is the best flap I've ever seen on a coffee cup, easy to open and close, and when opened, clicks nicely into the top of the lid - no hanging over interrupting the flow of coffee like some lesser lids.We got the cream cheese to go because it was very good! Also got whitefish salad to go and we just had it for breakfast the next day and it was EXCELLENT! I'm very particular about whitefish salad - which is not easy to come by in AZ, let alone Tucson (yes we have a bagel place that offers it but it's not nearly as good as NYB&B's version), so knowing we can pick it up fresh in Scottsdale is really comforting. Not too fishy, finely diced (I am not a fan of large chunky style whitefish salad), easily spread, just great! AND to top off the to-go portion, rugelach to go!!! They were really good as well (I got apricot, raspberry and chocolate). Even the location is great. It was an easy 5 minute drive from our hotel, I'm not sure of the name of the plaza (Greyhawk?) but parking was easy and it was a nice little strip, across from Starbucks and other businesses. Looking forward to the next visit!

We started with the Hamachi crudo, which was fresh and bright, then had the scallops, seared to perfection. This was not an issue, just one that was interesting, though the layout is small and the bathroom door is behind the bar seats, so it isn't the most comfortable location given the tight squeeze with foot traffic. The menu seemed focused on the cocktails, with a mixture of what might be considered and appetizer or main course mixed together. We got the watermelon and cucumber salad to start, thinking it would be refreshing after a long walk there in the heat. Both of us were shocked when the first notes of the watermelon were spicy. We read the menu and then understood that this was not meant to be a light bite. It was very enjoyable, but just a different taste than expected. We also got the Dan Dan Noodles. This had the spice expected. What was interesting was that the spices were almost exactly the same to the watermelon and cucumber salad. Not bad, but we probably would have ordered a different starter. We also ordered the streak bowl and the foccaccia with ricotta. The steak was incredible, and the highlight of the meal. This would have been better with more egg..not sure one full egg wad used? and less rice. The focaccia was warm and the ricotta with honey a nice palate cleanser before and after the meal. Overall, the food was good and the prices reasonable for the types of dishes. The old fashioned had nice herbal notes, and the service was quick.

The Macintosh is described as a neighborhood restaurant that serves modern American and Southern cuisine. It was once called Grassroots Kitchen & Tap before it got rebranded. They have a diverse menu with a lot of different choices. Shrimp and Grits, Barbecued Beef Ribs, a Chicken Salad and Po Boy Sandwiches are some of the standouts. I settled on the Rotisserie Chicken which came with a side of onion rings. I'm a big pesto fan and loved the buttermilk pesto for dipping. I had a nice time and look forward to a return visit. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. Honestly, I'm sitting here craving the food again just looking back at the pictures I took. This is definitely one of those restaurants that sticks in your mind long after you leave.
