Food and service were spot on. I dinged them one star because it is challenging for disabled people. Only 2 handicapped parking near the restaurant and even if you are lucky enough to get one of those spots, it is quite a walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. Heavy entry doors with automatic openers for disabled individuals. Same with the doors to the bathroom. We shared an order of beef tips soft tacos. They were build your own tacos loaded with flavor. We each had the local lager draft. Dinner was wonderful. Just wish it was more disabled friendly.

I was visiting from GA with local relatives and they recommended coming to Tonto. They are located amongst a Hilton Vacation Club property with a Pueblo design. The restaurant overlooks a golf course and has a lovely southwest ambiance. I had a prickly pear margarita ( beautiful) to start. We ordered the bread appetizer and I had the harvest salad which had berries, beets, marcona almonds and goat cheese. This was a nice starter, though the dressing wasn't terribly memorable. For the entree, I ordered the short ribs with a smooth and tasty mole sauce. It was served with a yummy polenta with green chile and corn and squash ribbons. My relatives ordered the vegan veggie bowl and the steak which they seemed to enjoy.. The service was pleasant and not too intrusive. If you're in the area looking for a relaxing and unpretentious meal, this is a nice choice.

The service is friendly but very slow. Somehow it feels like there are so many staff, but the food is slow to arrive, and there's always a big lull between being seated and ordering. The servers always seem rushed and impersonal. Docking another star for the prices - really overpriced. The food is good, and I get that it's a golf course and hotel, but compared to local places, it's just way too high.

Walking in you immediately feel the old southwestern vibe. We chose to sit outside where there are tables available in the sun as well as the shade. It's so quiet and peaceful and right on the golf course so green and lush. My friend got the compressed arugula salad, and I had the harvest salad, both were delicious. We got the half portion and it was just the right size., We both had salmon for our protein, which was cooked to perfection. To start, we ordered the fresh baked gluten-free bread, which has quinoa, flex, sunflower, and sesame seeds. It was so good, with a little bit of butter and drizzle of honey as recommended by the waiter. It did not disappoint. The service was very good here. The meal came out quick and they consistently came to refill our water glasses and checked on us just often enough to be helpful. I will say that the price point is a little high, but for a special occasion it was worth it. My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays together.

Sanddabs over mashed with snap peas and carrots. Absolutely delicious and would that 10 out 10 times.

Service was great and atmosphere . We were overlooking a hole and witnessed a family of javelinas.

Visited for Sunday early dinner with my wife and parents. We were promptly greeted and seated outside as requested. They were able to provide an outdoor heater which made everything all the more enjoyable. We had a lovely view of the golf course and enjoyed the beautiful sky as we dined. Service was friendly and attentive. The menu offers a variety of options with designated GF and vegan menus. We started with the Three Sisters app which provided chips and fry bread to go with three types of salsa and guac. I ordered the vegan relleno which is a veggie and quinoa stuffed poblano pepper with a tofu skewer. My wife had the veggie tacos with tofu. While the dish was quite filling, I do feel that it lacked a bit of flavor/zest. Nonetheless, I was thankful for the creative vegan options and would visit again! A nice option if you're in the area!

This upscale Mexican restaurant was the perfect choice for celebrating my birthday. The setting is intimate and romantic, with a gorgeous view of the golf course that sets the tone for a special evening. The scallops and shrimp were exceptional--perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The food was so good we joked about licking our plates clean. What truly elevated the experience was our phenomenal server, who made sure I felt celebrated and cared for all night. Highly recommend for a special occasion.

The steak tacos are really good. It's really nice to sit on the patio and eat. The service provided by our waiter Bobby Joe was superb. They were continually filling our waters and iced teas. They give you 4 corn tortillas for your make your own tacos. There was really only enough meat to make like 3 tacos. The salsa they severed with the tacos was amazing.

It took like 20 min before they ordered drinks and 30 min plus before drinks were delivered! Crazy right? The first visit I got the burger and fries and it was delicious. The second time I got a steak medium well and loaded baked potato and the potato was very dry (like an older potato that was on its way out) and although I loved the overall flavor of the steak I had to eat around the edges only and avoided the center because not only wasn't it medium w no pink it was red! Also it had gristle and fat. For $44 it was a waste of good meat and I'm not one to ask a cook to throw it back in the grill when they should know how to produce different levels of cooked steak. The ambiance is a chill dim lit vibe and easy for conversations so that was great! The bathrooms are clean and smell good. Great mirror lighting too. But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.

My wife had a steak and shrimp combo and I had the Key West chicken. Servings were very reasonable for the price and the food was delicious. My wife's steak was cooked to perfection but did taste extremely salty - we did make a comment both to the server and in the on-site review requested by the table side payment app. I would recommend anyone ordering their steaks to be sure to request that they go lighter on the salt. Other than that everything was perfect. My wife had the carrot cake dessert, of which I also had a taste, and we both highly recommend it. Service was also attentive and courteous as was our greeting by the maitre d'. We ordered the appetizer tempura calamari and scallops. It arrived as one large fried clump, very unappetizing, and we had to pick through it to find any calamari or scallops. I ordered the special of the day, prime rib. I requested medium‑rare, on the rare side as prime rib should be. It came out extremely overcooked and tough, even difficult to cut. I didn't eat any of it. On the brighter side, my husband's salmon was cooked perfectly. However, it was supposed to come with a side of risotto, and there was maybe two tablespoons on the plate. The bartender, Jayce, did his best to make up for the food. He didn't make excuses and handled the situation professionally. We did receive a complimentary dessert. The new owner was present but never stopped by, even though the food was returned uneaten. The restaurant itself looks worn down--paint peeling, menus dirty and worn. Perhaps the new owner is aware and plans to restore the quality and ambience Vogue was once known for. Until then, we won't be back. We'll likely check again in six months to see if improvements have been made. It's definitely not what it used to be.

Tucked back in a small building, just off Southern Avenue, you'll find Southern Fried. It is a small little walk in store front, so plan ahead to order out. We went ahead and ordered online to make things simple and easy. As shown on their building and advertised they show they serve Jamaican food so I was pretty let down when I looked at the menu to discover they do not have any Jamaican food. Seeing pictures of previous Yelp reviews of jerk chicken and oxtail left me bummed. We ended up ordering the fried okra, fried mushrooms, the 2 fish and 5 shrimp combo, along with the fried catfish and fries. We took our food to go and headed home, just around the corner. Once opening the containers i instantly got excited about the mushrooms. Anyone that knows me knows i am mushroom obsessed. With a quick dip in the ranch that came with and popping one into my mouth.... Yummmm! The okra was a bit of a miss. It seems they were still a bit slimy. Moving along to our main courses, I was disappointed to find that our fish was packed on top of our fries and the fries were very limp, soggy and unseasoned. I think packing the takeout differently could easily eliminate this issue. The catfish and shrimp were seasoned to perfection. They both had a perfect blend of spice and a light and crispy batter. I would love to see Jamaican food on the menu, as the advertising is a bit deceptive. Overall I would definitely be willing to try them again and would love to give one of their burgers a taste test.
