I came here with my friend to catch up and was very impressed with Full Fledged! Right when you walk in, it's very inviting with lots seating as well as tons of windows letting in natural light. I am openly not a fan of beer, but my friend suggested two ones to try the Rita Incognita and Berry Quartlet that I actually really liked! I would definitely go back here for those. We got food from Big Kel's Pizza and Wings which was alright. (They allow you to call in food from there and pay via card on the phone or in cash to them in person. They also will bring the food to you in Full Fledged). But the food being just okay doesn't take away from how nice the space is as well as the drinks! Finally made it over to Full Fledged Brewing this week, and I was definitely impressed! They are located just steps from the south entrance of the Mid America Center. Walking in, I was surprised at how big and open the space was, also appeared they had a party room and a nice patio. They had a nice variety of styles on tap, I tried the flagship IPA, Floyd the Barbarian, as well as the Oktoberfest and a sour. All were very good! The service was wonderful and friendly. The bartender told me you can order food from Big Kels nextdoor and have it delivered to your table. Definitely looking forward to a return visit soon! read more

One of our favorite breweries to visit, and we always try to stop by when we are in the area. My favorite is the Worthy Cause, but I tried the Vienna Lager today. Whoever working behind the bar is usually nice. My wife and I usually grab some of their curry pretzels and a couple of beers. They have a nice seating area, and a decently sized party room to the side. Plus, they have a variety of games for people to use. I believe they offer outside good as well. read more

I haven't met too many beers I've loved enough to want to drink again, but almost every one of the ones I tried here I'll definitely return for! My husband and I came and both had flights of different beers (except the salty prick, that one we both had to have!). I loved the Vienna, it tasted like the perfect fall beer, so I'll have to come back in a couple months for that one. The chili one was so good too, not a lot of spice to it, but the flavor was like a fresh green pepper. Yum!! They don't have food there, but they have menus for the pizza place next door and the phone number listed on the menu for easy ordering. We had the carnitas pizza and it was 100/10. The bartender was so helpful, we sat at the bar and she was very attentive and quick. They have cute merch, including dog bandanas with witty phrases and little onesies. Stopped by Full Fledged Brewing as we were staying in a nearby hotel. We loved it! I enjoyed all the beers I tried on my flight, my favorite was a mango jalapeño beer. On my 4th (5th?) visit and stopped in with the husband to see what was new. Now that they have 16 of their own beers on tap they no longer offer guest taps. It doesn't matter though because they've come a long way since opening and have something for everyone. I'm on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as beer drinking goes. I like beers that are light and fruity, beers that are dark and heavy, and not much in between. We got a flight with the Blue-tylicious and thought it was good but wouldn't have known it was blueberry if they hadn't told us it was blueberry. (I personally feel that if a fruit's flavor is going to be in the name it ought to practically punch me in the face.) It's not a super sour beer so it'd be a great intro to sours if you're a newbie. Not a fan of the Pott. Co. Porter (too smoky) but I do really like the Stay Oatful Stout with coffee and chocolate. And I hope they keep Eddie Bridge Hands on tap for the foreseeable future - it's tart and fruity and I'm looking forward to drinking it on my porch in warmer weather. This place is spacious, family friendly, (my husband commented on the beer holder on the changing table in the restroom), and the beertenders are always friendly and attentive. Cheers! Nice, local craft brewery and taproom. There's plenty of bar and table seating with a nice outdoor patio as well. There was a blues band playing and the brewery was pretty busy. You can order food from Big Kel's Pizza & Wings right next door and someone will bring it over to you which is really nice. Sue and I stopped in after dropping the car off at the detailer for a show this weekend. About 2 PM on a Sunday and place had quite a few patrons with basketball on TVs. Big, clean place. Nice. I knew before that it was "order at the bar" but is kinda inconvenient for me with a broken hand right now but I managed. Beer Tender asked if I wanted a tab. Put my card in his hand-held POS and checked out same way. Pretty convenient. Sue ordered a Mimosa and said it was really good. I, first, had a Chili beer. DELICIOUS. Love this style of beer and this didn't disappoint. Decided to try, next, the Dank Heaven. Expected a "Guiness" style dark beer, it came out lighter than I expected but I loved that too. Now, can't decide what to get next time. Parking was at a premium because of some event at the MAC, so I think that can be an issue at times. And, MY opinion, and I'm no expert, it would seem that serving food would also be a premium. It appears they have the space, or could MAKE the space and I would welcome a nice, short menu of bar food. Yes, I know you can order from Big Kel's and bring in your own but, being old fashioned, I'd rather not do that. All in all, we'll be back and try more stuff read more

I love this place! They have wonderful beers and I love supporting local business. They frequently have fun events they hosts with food trucks and live music. I love the rotating beers as well as the staples. The staff is all so personable and fun to be around. My favorites are the haze dweller-very high ABV but super smooth and easy to drink if you like IPAs. Floyd is also another favorite of mine. They have some fun snacks and also menus of other local restaurants near by to order from. Highly recommend. A friend of mine was in in Council Bluffs. I asked him to pick up the local flavor while there and bring home to Denver. He did not fail, the oatmeal stout was an amazing back home patio beer to sip on. I have yet to try the Hefe but will do so soon. My wife and I went this past Sunday and did a flight of the 5 beers that were currently offered from Full Fledged. Two that stood out the most to me were Floyd the Barbarian, a tasty Pale ale that almost could be classified as a NE style IPA, and the Nanaberry Hefeweizen. We also got a couple T-Shirts to wear around town to help promote this local brewery. I hope once they get on their feet they will dabble in different styles of beer. I really would like to see some higher abv offerings in the near future. Some more IPAs, some sours, and hopefully some barrel aged beers would be a nice treat to see offered here! read more

We stopped in to try out Full Fledged on a fall Saturday afternoon. Looking over the large and interesting beer menu, we each ordered a flight of testers to get better acquainted with the offerings. Each of us chose a wide range of styles. The beers certainly did not disappoint. In fact, we were pleasantly impressed with the flavors and polished finishes of the beers. FINALLY A BREWERY IN COUNCIL BLUFFS! Full Fledged Brewery has great beer and a good comfy atmosphere. You are able to trial beers if you're indecisive and can pick out a board game if there isn't a good game on TV (lots of TVs in the place!). They do not have snacks or food, but you're more than welcome to bring in your own food which is a nice touch (someone ordered pizza to be delivered there while we were there!). The only reason I give Full Fledged Brewing 4 stars is because it took us a while to be served at a table despite there being only about 10 people in the building; however, it appeared that if you're sitting at the bar or okay with always going up to the bar to get your drinks service is good and personal. Great atmosphere and love the beers. Smooth and crisp Council Kolsch is the go to but my favorite is Floyd the Barbarian. Floyd is an elite APA which combines a lower IBU for those that don't like the overly hoppy finish with a hazy look and fantastic finish. A great evolution of the hazy IPA for those that don't want to / can't hammer down 7% hoppy beers. Dessie and Marshall are wonderful owners and were more than happy to tell their stories of opening Full Fledged and their creative craft beers. I will be back soon but have several Crowlers or Floyd in the fridge until then. read more

I typically drink Lagers and Pilsners... a stout every now and then. It's hard to find local beers when I'm traveling that I like - but this place is awesome. Cool atmosphere. Visited Council Bluffs, IA, for the 2019 RAGBRAI event this past weekend and was excited to find a local brewery in the entertainment district around Mid-America Center. Great vibe, and the beertenders were able to easily handle the crush of people in for the bike ride. Ample indoor seating, including a lounge area with a living room feel, plus an open outdoor patio.
