I visited Dr. Roozbeh for the first time recently and was more than pleased with my visit. I was a little confused as to where his office was but you need to walk towards the back through this small alley because he is in the third unit. His facility is small but very clean and well air-conditioned. I came in due to chronic pain I had been having in my thumb for the past few years. He asked many questions to get a better idea of what was going on. When he started doing the needling, he asked me multiple times if I was okay which I greatly appreciated. He even added a few needles to my head to "help with memory for studying" since I mentioned I was a student. I felt an immediate sense of relief after he was done. He meets your specific needs so you don't have to worry bout a one size fits all approach. Whenever I leave my session I'm completely relaxed compared to when I arrived. Working on some sleep issues as well as a few others which he's treating with Chinese herbs. It's not a quick fix so don't expect immediate results but over time your health will improve. I suffer from a herniated lumbar disk, which is putting pressure on my sciatic nerve, manifesting in a phantom pain that radiates down my left leg. Surgery, Physical Therapy, and Vicodin have all failed to fix the problem. I first sought out Dr. Ghobadpour, hoping acupuncture may offer some relief to what is essentially a nerve issue. Fortunately, Dr. Ghobadpour is a miracle worker. Thanks to the acupuncture treatments I've experience a significant decrease in pain. For months, my left foot has felt as though it were wrapped tightly in an ace bandage, and the toes felt as if my foot were asleep all the time. The acupuncture has helped return sensation to my toes and relieved the pressure. But he had even more to offer than just acupuncture. I love cupping. The ancient practice has come into vogue since Michael Phelps, and I get asked about it every time I go to the gym. I've also experience pain in my right shoulder as a result of my herniated disk affecting my posture. After my first cupping session, the shoulder pain was gone.
