    1/2 BBQ Chicken Plate

Customer Service: 2/10 stars Food: 8/10 stars Cleanliness: 9/10 stars When Full Moon first opened, this used to be my family's favorite place to eat. Within the last year, it has gone down drastically, with customer service being the #1 issue. As you can see from previous reviews before mine, their customer service is downright terrible. From the minute we walked in the door, no one even made eye contact with us, or said hello/welcome. There were 3-4 people behind the counter doing nothing, and no one was in line, so there's no excuse for that. One lady was on her phone with someone on FaceTime, and the others were standing around talking. As we approached the counter, the lady that took our order didn't even greet us, or say "how may I help you?" She just stared at us. We are accustomed to the sweet ladies, "Ashley" and "Mimi", that used to work at the front, and they ALWAYS greeted us with a smile and made us feel like we were welcomed. I guess they don't work there any more, because I haven't seen either one in a while. :( On to the food: it was very good, it came out hot and tasted delicious. The BBQ chicken was smoked to perfection. My only critique would be to improve the flavor of the baked beans, and cook the steak fries crispier. Soggy fries are never good. If Full Moon could train their staff and improve their service, we'd go back to being regular customers.

Brisket. It was tough, cold and had little flavor. It was not good.

I purchased the pork rib plate and a pound of brisket. I was disappointed by the meal. The pork ribs were ok but I could tell they were not fresh. The meat was extremely tough around the edges. It was very difficult to chew and difficult to swallow too. The fries were also not fresh. They were cold and tasted stale and rubbery. They didn't have any salt whatsoever on them. There was also no salt or seasoning in the bag. The brisket was disappointing as well. It had no seasoning. Some people may say the meat does not need seasoning as it's all the flavor you need. That might be true if it weren't for the fact the brisket was cold, not fresh, and it tasted like it was prepared some time ago. There was zero seasonings on it and it was tough. I lived in Texas for over a decade and I guess Texas spoiled me because I was introduced to brisket there and all the brisket I've eaten at smokehouses there, in particular Lockhart smoke house in Dallas, TX off of Davis Street, simply melts in your mouth. It's fresh and super tender and seasoned perfectly. This brisket could not even compare. I paid $29.00 for my meal. I will not be returning. If this place was in Dallas, TX they would quickly go out of business because the quality of their food just can't compare.

Really good good! They are called full moon "bbq" but I heard that the bbq wasn't that good so I opted out and got catfish and green tomatoes. I'd say definitely give them a try

Bbq was very under seasoned. The baked beans were VERY dark and BURNT! Chicken was dry and the baked potatoes were over cooked.

These bite-sized delights were a delightful twist on a classic Southern side dish. Tender and flavorful turnip greens were combined with creamy cheese and smoky applewood bacon bits, then rolled in seasoned flour and deep-fried to perfection. They were served with a sweet and tangy honey remoulade sauce. To my surprise, the turnip bites were incredibly delicious! I'm usually a fan of greens, but I've never had them prepared in this way before. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys unique and flavorful dishes. For my main course, I ordered the GB Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of seasoned fries. The sandwich was quite large, but it was packed with flavor and juicy chicken. I'd definitely order it again when I'm feeling a bit hungrier. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. However, I do have a suggestion: the portions are quite large, so it might be better to share them with a group of people.

I wanted to go Tuesday but coworkers didn't want to go out. Tried to go Wednesday but they were closed for dinner. My flight was leaving later in the day on Thursday and I had to try to go. Online it said they were open at 10 am. I checked out of the hotel and headed to the restaurant. There were already a lot of people waiting for them to open. To my surprise they opened at 10:30. When the doors opened people were "fighting" to get inside. This is a buffet setting. You pay before eating. To go plates are available for purchase. There is an upstairs eating area. I think there were 3 hot stations, a cold station, and a desert station and an ice cream machine. All the food looked so good. I had to get a little taste of everything. The fried chicken and fried chicken livers were Hands down my favorite things. I like greens that are tangy with a little spicy - these were not that. The cornbread was hard couldn't eat it. Everything else was ok. Nothing that I had that "gotta go back for more" feeling (except the chicken). There were so many offerings, and they have Pepsi products. They have a drink station but The servers bring you drinks. I definitely would go back again if I'm in the area.

Great Legos on display, a cool "game" vibe, and very friendly staff. The food was also really good. The chili cheese tots were excellent. The tots were crispy and the chili and cheese were delicious. My chicken sandwich on Texas toast was also very good. The pickles they put on this sandwich, along with the garlic mayo, really add great flavor, and the toast was buttered and perfectly toasted. The pizza was good and you can add extra pepperonis if you want, for $1. They have tons of board games and card games and even a few video games for people to play. They host gaming nights, apparently, which is cool. The service was also really good. They asked if we wanted water to go, and without asking, they brought a small to-go cup of lemons, since we had lemon with the water we had with our food. A very nice touch. It's an interesting place in the middle of Mississippi that is worth stopping at if you're passing through around lunch time.

While doing so I stumbled across this location and decided to give it a try. I was amused by all the nerdy decor so I decided to nerd out and have dinner while watching Star Trek. My waiter explain the menu to me when I told him it was my first visit and offered good suggestions on items I should try. He informed me that they have various nights where they have board games, movies, and other activities. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and pretzel bites. The food came out in a timely manner and was well prepared at a great temperature. Although the coleslaw was bland, you can tell it was freshly made. The pulled pork was a good portion and flavorful while the pretzel bites were fluffy and salty just like you would want them. As to my old fashioned, it tasted good, but they didn't include the traditional cherry for the old fashioned. I enjoyed this experience and the next time I'm in town I will visit for sure.
