Stopped in for a quick lunch this afternoon. I haven't eaten here since before the pandemic. The decor is dated and it could use a good scrubbing. I was greeted right away and seated. There was already a small group in the restaurant. I planned on ordering off the lunch special menu. So the first thing I noticed is that the pricing has changed. What was $7.50 lunch specials are now $12.50. The choices were varied but I stuck with my old standby of broccoli beef. It came with either steamed or fried rice and a cup of egg flower soup, which was yummy. The meal was very tasty and the portion size was generous. With a soft drink the bill was $17.25. Not the cheapest but it was good.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Place smelled like cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in. There was a fortune paper inside the soup they gave us. We had no fortune cookies whatsoever. You can see the fortune on the side of the bowl in the picture attached. Unsanitary and unacceptable. We left before even finishing our meal.

I ordered food to go from here today, I have ate here many times, my family has came here for years. Food is good however the portion is not great. I will not be ordering food to go from here anymore, I am willing to give them another try, as long as they're not stingy with portions. read more

Terrible!!!! I called in an order and viewed a menu here on yelp. Obviously it was an old menu because I thought my total would be about $60. No it was $95. Most expensive Chinese food ever and it was terrible! Portions were small and all the food lacked flavor and was dry like it had been sitting out for awhile. Never again read more

I hate to say this but this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I literally took 2 bites and that was it. We couldn't even finish it. The place is old and grungy. That should have been the first warning. The people were nice, and the service was OK, but that's where it ends. Super disappointing. read more

I used to love this place. Paid 92 dollars for a seafood family dinner for 3. The house soup was putrid, the crunchies for a topping tasted like paint chips. Basically it seems we were served expired food. Unfortunately will have to follow up with health department. read more

Service was on point, all staff was kind and happy to assist each other when larger parties needed seating, and when working our table of two. Food was fast, fresh and abundant. My personal preference is larger egg rolls FMP has the smaller spring roll. Nothing fancy but a well run classic place read more

If you didn't know about this hidden gem. It has to be one of the best Chinese food restaurants for miles either direction. The restaurant is clean. The staff are always friendly and the food is second to none. This place a such a hidden gem. It's local small business and the food is fantastic. I've always had way above par service from the wait staff. One of my favorite dishes is the general chicken lunch special. (But served all day) they also have some amazing egg flower soup. In addition to a few other delicious soup choices as an entree. Don't miss out try this place. You won't regret it. Dinner for two with two drinks just under $40 before tip. Not bad in todays prices! I will continue being a very satisfied customer of this amazing restaurant! read more

First visit today fried rice, garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Extremely difficult for me to find enjoyable Chines Food in this whole area. I'd definitely go back. Especially enjoyed the fried rice with a couple of extra eggs added. Hostess Tammi was very friendly. read more

This is the best Chinese food I have been able to find in the Central Valley, Sacramento and Stockton included. We frequently drive 90 minutes round trip just to get takeout. These other reviews complaining about takeout packaging are silly, focus on the food which is amazing! The garlic chicken is a must and they have some of the best hot and sour soup and wontons around. read more

We got food n it tasted ok. Potstickers were different n rice was chewy. My family got food poisoning, even my toddler. I wanted to call the health department on them I was so pissed but didn't thx to my partner. Will not be returning. No longer recommend. They were good once but no longer. After China Express wasn't answering their phone I decided to give full Moon palace a try because of all the good reviews. Unfortunately I had a different experience. Although the staff were friendly I was very disappointed by the food. I ordered a side of wonton soup and an order of crab rangoons. The wonton soup had absolutely no flavor, very few wontons, and lots of vegetables which I'm not crazy about. I could have tolerated all the vegetables if there was at least flavor in the broth and more than two or three wontons. $8 for soup you should definitely do better than that . read more

Tried this place due to the reviews but I regret it. The food is very bland little to no flavor. I was also charged more than the price on the menu. I assumed it was either because they're hurting as a business or because they charged more than $1.50 to use my card instead of cash. I wouldn't have mind if the food was good but it was a waste of money. I would not go back here. read more

I don't know how I missed this place but I just found it after living here for a year. Went in and ordered a take out order and it was so delicious. Love how they put lots of meat and veggies in the chow mein and the rice was super. Will definitely be putting this place for my go to for Chinese food. read more

If they had a different vegetarian dumpling flavor to choose from for a little variety, that would be awesome, but for now I'm well pleased with what they do have. We have thus far only ordered take out, and have not dined in. I've tried and liked the vegetarian versions of the egg roll, potsticker, dumpling, and steamed bao so far. The bao veggie filling is different than the dumpling filling, and it's very delicious. They have standard Chinese dishes in addition, but I have not ventured far into the rest of the menu. Unfortunately I cannot as of yet share whether any of this, or the dipping sauces are vegan friendly. Hopefully on a future visit I can find out and report. The dishes I have so far mentioned are vegetarian friendly. Not sure on the dipping sauces. Possibly? The price is pretty decent for what you get. One order of bao or dumplings is plenty for two people. They are about $13 each. I like how the takeout containers come in a reusable canvas bag. Ordering over the phone has been smooth each time. So, we keep coming back when the hankering hits, braving what can be a busy parking lot.

Same great iced Thai coffee, deliciously fresh spring rolls, and the green curry couldn't have been better. We didn't see too many veggie dishes on the menu, yet at my wife's request, the kitchen made her fresh green beans in a garlic sauce. Thats right - fresh crisp green beans with plenty of "crunch" in a velvety garlic sauce. The prices are very reasonable considering today's crazy economy and we took food home! This is a family run business and the care and attention to customers is worth giving Thai Kitchen your support. We understand that they will be moving soon (just two storefronts away from the current location) and will have more room for more clientele. Judy and Sonny are very welcoming and personable. We wish them great success in the new location and we can't wait to be back to check it out!!!
