    Pad se ew with chicken
    Becca D.

Very small place but we were the only ones there for majority of our meal so it was fine. The service is so friendly and they make you feel like family. The food is amazing! Such great flavor and textures. I had chicken pad se ew and the veggies were cooked just right, the noodles were chewy and the flavor was perfect. I will definitely be back. They seem to do quiet a bit of takeout because it is so small so I might try that next time. But if you don't mind being a little close to others dining in was great because the service was nice!

I don't normally eat in Lodi, but was passing through and this place had better reviews than most places in the area. Definitely a cozier place that has almost at at-home feel for me. We were there a little earlier than prime dinner time on a Friday, so not busy at all and were able to sit down right away. The two people working the floor were pretty friendly and quick to serve us. The food came within what felt like 10 -15 minutes. The spring rolls were stuffed with a good amount of veggies, with thinner noodles than I'm used to, so the rolls were pretty dense. There was also an option to have chicken as the protein, which I don't see at all when I eat at other Thai establishments, but that ended up making the rolls a little drier than my liking. The sweet and sour sauce that came with it did help temper that quite a bit though, especially since I'm more used to getting a thicker peanut sauce with my rolls. I ordered the priew-wan because all the veggies listed sounded appealing after a week of heavy Thanksgiving food. When it came it was definitely heavy on the sweet and sour sauce. While very delicious, I did my best to left the sauce run off first before eating it with my side of rice. I wasn't planning on getting any dessert , but one of the servers did a decent job convincing me. How can I turn down a mango sticky rice at a Thai restaurant? While I don't necessarily believe there is only one way to make this dish, I was very happy to see it come out in a more standardized fashion. No other colors in the rice and a nice shareable portion of mango. Also, the rice was nice and warm, which gave a good contrast to the cold mango. I'd definitely come back here again if I'm in the area since the prices were good for their portion sizes. The staff is friendly and I'm always down to support smaller businesses.

I had a great experience at Thai Kitchen last night. I had been craving Thai and was recommended here. It is a small hole in the wall esque place. Service was friendly and welcoming as soon as we came in. I ordered the drunken noodles with sticky rice which was so flavorful, I didn't even need to add any spices like I typically do. They suggested we try the Thai tea creme brûlée which is an item they are considering adding! I really hope that they do. I had a couple bites despite not really wanting dessert and it was delicious!

Everything is super awesome!! The service is amazing and feels very welcoming. I got the Pad thai broccoli (i think) with tofu and mild spice, honestly some of the best tofu i've had. The tea they have is also really good! i definitely recommend if you want good cooked, yummy food!!!

I haven't really had a lot of Thai food or found much that I like but we tried this place on a whim and turns out I do in fact like pad Thai, I also tried their Num-Tok which I already knew I liked from my house holds personal recipe but the Num-Tok here was a different take on it, a lot of tamarind powder for my personal taste but still yummy. The basil fried rice was interesting, not bad but I wouldn't seek it out but that is just my palette talking not a quality issue. The mango sticky rice is obligatory and was yummy as well. Overall the price for the whole meal wasn't bad either for the portions and including tip, would definitely come back. Like most places, personally I'd probably bring my personal water bottle because the refills are never fast enough haha and it doesn't seem like they run AC or at least not yet in the season so it was hotter inside the restaurant than outside which was not a pleasant experience when trying to eat. Great food, nice to know I do actually like some Thai food!

Their rare steak pho was soooo delicious. Best place to go. I wish they delivery though. You need to try this this, especially on a rainy day.

My Mom really loved this restaurant. When she recently passed away, there was no other place we wanted to have cater in my Mom's honor, and we're so glad we did. The owner Lee, waitress Phon, the cooks, and the other staff members went above and beyond. As extra, and without any request to do so, they upgraded our tray of mango sticky rice dessert (my Mom's favorite) from small to large, cut a tray of watermelon, fried 40 extra pieces of chicken wings, and made a tray of delicious crab rangoon. Everything was so delicious, including the large tray of pad thai and eggrolls we ordered. The sauces they made were also on point, and they even roasted & grinded peanuts as garnish on the side. Our guests really enjoyed everything. Authentic, flavorful, and fresh. We highly recommend Thai Kitchen to anyone and everyone needing catering services. They were also very accommodating in letting me pick up all of the food early, before they even opened. I'm so grateful for them. For those of you who haven't tried this restaurant, you need to. The food is fantastic, and you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Thai Kitchen. My Mom would have wanted it no other way. -Anne

5 Star for Service. They were friendly and fast for service. 4 star for food. The pho wasn't that great. The broth wasn't what I expected. I expected more of an aromatic herb taste. However, the meatball was BOMB! Tastes homemade definitely not the ones you get at the Asian store. It was soft and chewy. The red curry was good! Did not disappoint! Stick rice was fresh and delicious like always!

This is a great little Thai restaurant hidden away in downtown Lodi. I placed an order for pick up and I got their Pork Garlic Noodles. The restaurant is very small and can only seat like about 15 people. The employee was really nice and friendly. The food was delicious. It had just the right amount of seasoning and it was kept nice and hot with the foil that they use in the to go containers. The prices are very reasonable and I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

I came across this restaurant as I waited for some friends and was very surprised! The restaurant itself is small but the staff are very friendly and I was seated right away. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and it was delicious! I am definitely glad I decided to stop by here. Many people were coming in and out, picking up their take-out orders, indicating it's a popular choice in this area.

My faves are the pad see ew, drunken noodles, pineapple fried rice, and of course, that reliable pad thai. I can order what I want with tofu, and most without fish sauce, and it's not a bother. The menu is extensive. I still haven't tried any of the curries, but I'll get there eventually y'all. I do like the egg rolls and spring rolls. There's a vegetarian version of both. On our last visit, sweet potato fries and lightly fried asparagus were ordered for the table as appetizers. Each was quite yummy. Nothing I've tried lacks flavor or quality. It's a bright, clean restaurant, with a couple tvs, but not turned up too loud. We were able to catch part of World Cup here over the weekend. Everything about this place is great. If they had a different vegetarian dumpling flavor to choose from for a little variety, that would be awesome, but for now I'm well pleased with what they do have. We have thus far only ordered take out, and have not dined in. I've tried and liked the vegetarian versions of the egg roll, potsticker, dumpling, and steamed bao so far. The bao veggie filling is different than the dumpling filling, and it's very delicious. They have standard Chinese dishes in addition, but I have not ventured far into the rest of the menu. Unfortunately I cannot as of yet share whether any of this, or the dipping sauces are vegan friendly. Hopefully on a future visit I can find out and report. The dishes I have so far mentioned are vegetarian friendly. Not sure on the dipping sauces. Possibly? The price is pretty decent for what you get. One order of bao or dumplings is plenty for two people. They are about $13 each. I like how the takeout containers come in a reusable canvas bag. Ordering over the phone has been smooth each time. So, we keep coming back when the hankering hits, braving what can be a busy parking lot.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

From the outside, tucked into a humble strip mall, you'd never guess the culinary experience waiting inside. Honestly, if someone bottled that fragrance, I'd wear it daily. Yes, the menu offers the traditional Vietnamese favorites you'd expect, but every dish arrives piping hot, deeply comforting, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pho is rich and aromatic, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and each bite feels thoughtfully prepared. What truly elevates this restaurant, however, is the hospitality.
