Really was hoping this would be a great experience, but so far it's fallen short…read more When I initially reached out for a quote to powder coat some pieces for my truck (roof rack and rock sliders), Derek got back to me quickly (on the weekend even) and with a good price. Great first impression. Then I dropped my items off on 3/23/21 and the staff member was friendly in helping me unload them and getting my information. Both Derek and the staff member quoted me a two week lead time, meaning I was expecting them sometime around the week ending 4/9/21. I pick I know this isn't an exact science and projects can take longer, so I gave some extra time and waited to reach out for an update until 4/16/21. I left a voicemail asking for a callback on the status. Never got a callback. I gave them another 10 days. Then on 4/26/21, I replied to my prior email chain with Derek and asked for an update. No response to that yet either. It's been 5 weeks versus the estimate of 2 weeks and no updates at all. At this point I'm just hoping they haven't lost my $3000 of parts I just bought. Will update review as this progresses. Update: Called again on 5/3/21, someone answered the phone, and confirmed that my order had been done for weeks. They apologized no one had reached out to me, or returned my prior attempts to contact them. Finished product looked great, really happy with how it turned out. Also came in at the price I was quoted, another plus. Just have to expect that customer service will be lacking, and it's on the customer to continually try to catch someone in the office for an update.

The mass-produced…read moreliners online just didn't look great *or strong* and I couldn't find anything that was a good fit. I'm so glad I found Jim & Mighty Fab. He definitely went above and beyond for my small project. He came over for the estimate as promised and gave me a download on what he recommended for my project and we worked together on the details before landing on a final plan. He kept me updated along the build process and the liner turned out pretty sweet with a beautiful custom fit. Worth noting when comparing this custom liner vs the mass produced stuff online- Jim can create a welded one-piece unit that is structural vs. most online stuff is multiple pieces bolted together. Also, check out the seamless top lip- beautiful work! I don't think you'll find a more meticulous fabricator in town - Jim gets it done! Also, it's great to support a small business and an overall really nice guy. Thanks again for the great work Jim - very much appreciated!

Jim responded pretty much immediately with not only a thoughtful, friendly, and great explanation of what his capabilities are, but lots of suggestions of other reputable businesses to try since he couldn't quite do what I wanted. Jim continued to respond promptly and provide lots of great support and suggestions based on my responses. I particularly appreciated Jim's honesty and being so transparent and up-front about the results if he were to do the job with his equipment. Although Jim didn't have the capability to perform what I wanted, I was able to get the job done through following his recommendations. I'd definitely recommend contacting Mighty Fab if you need any metal work done, and I'll definitely keep Mighty Fab in mind for future needs.

Great work and great service . If you want an off road bump then this is the place to goread more

I looked around and I was considering getting the prefabricated bumpers to keep it simple and keep my costs down. I didn't see anything that I was really excited about but found a few options I could lie with. A local supplier told me I should check out Hard Notched Customs because they were an up and coming shop that did excellent fabrication at a great price. Then a friend of mine also mentioned I should call Hard Notched Customs. That's when I decided to check them out. I called and made arrangements to bring my truck in to get a quote. The guys at the shop showed me lots of options and I decided on the bumpers I liked. They came with a built in winch and light bars. The quality of the steel was far superior to the prefabricated stuff I was looking at and the design was also way better. I braced myself for the cost because I was sure I'd be coming deep out of pocket. I was surprised to find out how affordable the bumpers were. It was actually less than the pre-fabricated set up I was considering having installed. They custom make every part in their shop so they are exact dots to your vehicle. They measure your vehicle before fabricating. You also get to come check out the progress of your project if you like which I thought was really cool. I got to see my bumpers from steel stock, to welded, and powder coating. It was really interesting. If you are considering custom bumpers or metal fabrication for your vehicle call these guys. You will be happy you did. I've posted some pictures of the truck before and after.
