I got a Tesla and the biggest flaw on them is that the rims will barely brush against something, and all of a sudden the entire thing is scratched up. Terrible design. Instead of buying new rims I was recommended to get the rims buffed out and repainted. Thankfully I was told about this place in Vancouver. It doesn't take but an hour or so and they look brand new. Even one that I thought wasn't possible to look good again, looked brand new again. Definitely a master at his craft. 10 out of 10 would definitely go back and use again if I needed this sort of service. I told them that we had agreed they would remove the tire from the rim, not just take the wheel off the car. Then they said it would be an extra $15 to remove the tire, plus $10 just for taking the wheel off. I took my car here to fix bent wheels and curb rash. To be fair, they did fix the main issue and the mechanics were actually pretty nice. However, the overall experience was frustrating because of the lack of attention to detail and poor customer service. The biggest problem was that they didn't paint the center caps, so the color didn't match the wheels at all. I asked multiple times if they could paint them, and every time I was told it wasn't possible because the caps are plastic and "can't go in the oven," so the color would never match. I even asked if they could provide a small sample of the color so I could get them painted somewhere else, and the response from the front desk was basically "we don't give samples, go try another place." That was disappointing and honestly unprofessional. I ended up going to another shop (Factory Wheel Outlet), and they told me it was actually very easy to match the color. They painted my center caps perfectly in just one day, and now everything matches exactly like it should have from the beginning. So while this shop fixed the bend and curb rash, they fell short on finishing the job properly and their customer service could definitely improve. Hi, I just want to clarify that I did ask about the center caps multiple times. The first time, I was told in person that since the caps are plastic and the wheels are metal, the color would never match. The second time, I called again, and then on Tuesday--after taking my car to a tire shop--they pointed out that the center caps hadn't been painted at all and still looked like factory. When I asked again at your shop, the front desk told me: "we don't give samples, go try in Bob's Paint Land." So I'm not being dishonest--I did ask more than once. I ended up taking the caps to Factory Wheel Outlet, and they were able to match the color perfectly and complete the job in one day. The result came out great and matches exactly. I was charged $300, and I have the invoice if you'd like me to provide it. read more

Having dealt with the pothole situation again is not fun! This is the second time where a pothole has caused me problems. I called Lexus and they recommended that I give Wheel Kraft a call. My other friend also suggested that I go to them to see if I can get it fixed. I gave them a called and worked with Tammy, who was super nice and accommodating. I wasn't sure if they could fix my rim, but she told me to send her a picture and she will have her people take a look at it. She gave me a call back a few minutes later and told me to bring it in...and that's what I did. They were able to fix the rim and also mount it to the tire for me. I'm glad I took my rim there because replacing it would cost about 4 times more! I only wished that they could have put the wheel back on my car, but they were short staffed that day and super busy with repairing more rims (probably from the bad roads due to the recent weather). read more

This company is efficient from the start of calling in to inquire into price, uploaded some photos of curb rashes wheel, and an appointment to come out service by mobile and did a wonderful job on our Tesla Induction curb rash wheel. They quoted a flat-rate fee for each wheel Regardless of severity. Ryan came out 2 days later in the morning and spent an hour worked on my wheel in his large mobile van. The staff took great care of me here at Wheelkraft. Specifically, Austin, one of the wheel refinishing technicians & the owner, Brett Taylor. I brought my 911 Porsche Carrera in to get the chrome wheels painted black. I researched quite a few ideas online. I brought in photos and Austin came outside took a look at the wheels and the photos I had. Austin provided a very detailed description of what the process would be to achieve what I wanted as well as offered his expert recommendations. **Side note -- while searching for photos online i did find it extremely difficult to find my exact wheels with different color schemes on google. -- Although not a necessity, It would be beneficial if they had a AR program or something similar on their website to view different customized colors on several types of wheels.** In addition, due to personal circumstances, I had to cancel my original appointment. At first, I was a bit worried that I wouldnt be able to find a time to get a ride home from a friend and find an open appointment. Luckily, Brett was understanding and got a new appointment scheduled quickly. It made it a lot easier to coordinate a time that works for all three parties (Wheelkraft, My Ride, and Myself). TERRIBLE WASTE OF MONEY!! I wish I had gone somewhere else! I took My calipers here to have them painted. I picked them up a couple weeks later and it appeared they did a pretty decent job with the coating, and the letters were on there so I paid, what I felt like was a bit much (more than they charge for two wheels) and took them home. When I got home and went to install them I noticed that for some reason they put the letters on a 1/4" off of center and they also left them sitting on some bubble wrap that left marks on the clear. So I brought them back them next day and they agreeded to take them back and fix their mistakes. A week later I called them to see if they were done (I was not contacted either of the times they were done), they were done so went and picked them up. The face of the Caliper was good this time with letters in the correct location, however the rest of the caliper looked like a child taped it off and there are huge paint runs everywhere.... see pictures. I wasn't going to bother trying to get them to "fix them" anymore. I AM ABSOLUTELY DONE with this place! TOTAL RIP-OFF!!! I was planning on having my wheels refinished after this brake job and because of this Experience I went to an outfit in Portland that gave me a cheaper quote. Why did I wait so long!? While lamenting some dings on the 2 front wheel rims of my car to the local Tesla dealership, they suggested I contact Wheelkraft NW. Went from an inquiring email to wheels completely fixed in about 3 days! Even sent a truck to my house in SW Portland (from Vancouver) and fixed it in the driveway. Phil Rowland is indeed the "wheel repair artist" his business card suggests. All his estimates on repair time and quality were spot on. Even had the professionalism to alert me to unexpected transit delays due to traffic. I was actually skeptical of the claim that the gouged wheels would come out looking like new; I was delighted to find out these claims were true.
