I was a 10+ year patient of this practice under the current ownership and the last. I can say for a fact that the new staff ATROCIOUS beyond belief. I typically never write reviews, but unfortunately I was extremely dissatisfied with Fuller Smiles' service on multiple occasions. I was referred to Fuller Smiles by my primary dentist for all 4 wisdom teeth to be extracted. I had a quick consultation where they took an x-ray of my mouth and they let me know that the surgery would be a quick 20 minute procedure. When I returned for the surgery, I had to wait an entire hour before the doctor was able to see me. He did not explain the procedure to me or what he was doing at all. He numbed me with a few needles (which I think had some anesthesia, I really don't know bc he did not explain anything) and then he went straight into taking the teeth out. It was a very uncomfortable experience, as I had no clue what was going on. When the surgery was complete, the doctor gave me a half sheet of paper with post operation instructions, but failed to walk me through how to take care of my mouth. As my mouth was full of gauze it was difficult to voice my frustration or ask any questions so I just taught myself. Today I came back for my post operation check-up and the whole check- up was about 2 minutes. All the doctor said was to call the dentist office or go to the ER if I experience swelling or excessive bleeding, and left the room. I had to ask the doctor to come back so I could ask her my questions. I did not feel like I was cared for, and I would not recommend this office at all. I will also be letting my primary doctor know that I did not feel cared for and would not refer this office to anyone I know. read more

Not sure how this place has any 5 star reviews. This place is HORRIBLE. My first visit was an exam and teeth cleaning and the first dentist said I had 10 cavities. I was astonished since I had an exam only 3 months prior with no cavities present. I asked why that would happen and they didn't really have an answer. I did really enjoy the dental hygienist, she cleaned my teeth better than I ever had which is why I decided to keep going back. My second appointment was for 5 of the cavities on my right side and the second dentist had no bedside manners. She didn't walk through anything and just started shaving away. She hardly said anything the whole time. I just finished my third and final appointment and I am so disappointed I kept going back. First, I sit down and the dentist checks my teeth and add ANOTHER CAVITY, without an exam or anything. She added a filling simply by looking at my teeth? That has never happened before. Since the "cavity" was on the other side, I let them know that I didn't want my whole mouth numb and they actually said I didn't need numbing? Another red flag, no numbing for a filling?? She proceeded. I've had quite a few fillings in my time and never had any issues, I actually enjoy going to the dentist, teeth cleanings, even fillings. This was the first time I ever had any discomfort during the filling process. During my filling, I let the dentist know I was in pain and she went on to say that, "You must have an issue with numbing", which I let them know, "I have never had any issue or pain". She continues on and another tooth has sensitivity. At this point, it is clear that she didn't numb me correctly. As if it couldn't get worse, before she finishes the fillings, she leaves the room with any warning. I have never had that happen. She didn't finish the fillings and she got up and walked out. No warning, no explanation. While she's gone, the assistant takes another X-Ray (mind you, I had my first exam with them last month so they already had very up-to-date x-rays). The dentist returned 6 minutes later and finishes the fillings. After all of this, I went to go pay and the receptionist didn't even acknowledge me and left up waiting for 5-6 minutes. I was so over it, when they asked if I wanted to write a Yelp review in exchange for teeth whitening, I declined. I cancelled all future appointments and will be going elsewhere. As I mentioned, I enjoy the dentist and have been to quite a few dentist office, this was hand down the worst experience. I would anywhere else. read more

I don't know how this place have the reviews it has really I don't. I came here in mid December with the mind set that I will have a lot of work that's need to be done so when I called for an appointment I told them what I needed and that I would like to see someone asap and they said not problem. After I arrived they told me the following I need 1 extraction 1 root canal and a few cavities. For someone who has not see the dentist is year this was a surprise as I expect far more. I said okay let get the extraction and root canal taken care of. By the time I come in for the cavities the dentist who I have never seen before dr arsh tells me you have a root canal where the previous dentist told me it was a cavity....... I'm sorry what do you mean it's a root canal? He tells me this x ray right here shows it's a root canal. I need to explain that the x ray he was looking at was not taken that day it was taken in mid December and I paid for the cavities/ fillings up front so why if I have a completely different issue why would they charge me and he says idk why they would tell you that. Better question why did they charge me for the wrong issue. He then comes back and says it's in your file that it's listed as a cavity/ high chance of root canal.... So I ask if you have this information why was this not mentioned to me. He says don't worry about it we will make this right and take care of it I'll do what I can not and have you come back for the rest. He does a half @ss job and I mean half @ss as I was driving home the filling or temporary crown he put on came off in the car on my way home. I called them to let them know the issue to which they ask me to call the one in Culver City to ask if they could take care of the issue and say dr arsh was assisting me. I do that and they tell me that there root canal specialist is away till February. I call them back and that said they will fix this for me. I receive no phone calls no information nothing. It's at this time that my tooth is in so much pain that I call first thing at 9:00 on a Monday to beg for a rx for pain medication and when I explain this to the receptionist she said on they never called you back? You said you would call me back but what ever not trying to argue and say no please and a rx. I go in for my appointment for the root canal to be completed only to be told it's a fractured nerve..... come again what she shows me the same X-ray from last time the previous dot said it was a root Canal and shows me something I swear to go she made up I'll explain in a moment. At this point I say why do I keep getting told different things to which she says we like to be conservative with our diagnosis. She then refers me to Long Beach Endodontix and when I said it was a fractured nerve the dr there looked at me as if I 1 want to waste his and my time and that I'm exaggerating. He then tells me it's a root canal plain and simple. After the procedure I make an appointment to finally get rid of the cavities I paid for and we book for Thursday the 19th. I got a call Monday the 16th asking for my insurance information to which I ask why. They say that they need to go through my insurance for the cavities and a crown. I'm a little lost as I paid for the cavities and the crown I was told would be covered by them. I explained everything me and dr ash spoke about and how he said they would make this right and take care of everything. She says oh I call him and find out. She called me back 20 minutes later saying he was unaware that I was it was supposed to be covered and he only meant the root canal would be covered not the crown or anything else .... You mean the root canal you referred me out to? So if he said they were going to use my insurance why didn't he ask for it then I made it clear to him the reason I paid upfront is because our benefits will change vendors 1/1/23 and I maxed them out for this year? This woman tell me the following and I lost it " there is no guarantee when you are getting dental work" I said why the f did you charge me if your unsure of what your looking at? She then said we like to be conservative. I interrupted and said not that a lie to which she said it's not lying. I asked so when you get told conflicting stories from people who all work on the same office and speak to each other but they all tell me different things what is? She begins to tell me to be honest the dr does not want to see you at this point as you've been hostile........ hostile you guys have gave me the run around have conflicting stories never seem to know why I am there and I'm hostile because I'm tired of lies cool story bro give me a refund for my work then. She responds I have to reach out for that so I ask your don't know if you can she said yes I can but I need to confirm.
