It's official we have to sue them for malpractice. My husband went to a specialist this morning and he said he couldn't work on him. That he needed emergency care rendered from 4M. His lower bridge is completely broken. He told us to call to schedule an emergency visit to get it repaired and he could treat him from there. So Me and my husband just got off the phone with the office manager Liz. She states and I quote "We cannot see your husband. He has been terminated from our practice." Ok! So he's just suppose to walk around with no teeth?! This is absurd!!!! Then she says emergency care was only covered until May 2nd. Well you terminated him when he needed emergency care! That's contradictory! Looks like the unprofessional doctor replied to my comment last night. No need for any more replies Doctor. Your work is shoddy. It doesn't last & we will see you in court. A year and a half ago I walked through the doors of 4M Dental and started what is now the biggest regret of my life. This place truly is only after your dollars and by no means are they after offering a quality product or quality service. The front reception desk were the only consistently polite people working there. I guess that is worth the one star I have to give. I spent almost $40,000 to have all of my teeth crowned. Paid cash. They kept wanting more money for this and for that. Don't think this is a smiling in a day kind of place because it took over one year of me sitting in their dental chair time after time after time, sometime left sitting for long periods of time, being fitted, re-fitted and re-fitted again, pressured into accepting a product when they have you in so much pain and frustration.... But boy do they pressure you to sign to accept their sub-par product that isn't what you made clear you wanted, being treated so rude by their office staff right on up to the lead educator Dr. Goodarzi (yes, this is a school and you should realize this - I felt this was part of the problem, but she is a great teacher of lies and arrogance) dentist herself. She's very confrontational. After being lied to so many times I wanted to start recording my visits but she put a stop to that immediately. They have you sign a waiver that allows them to record you, but they will not allow you to record them probably because they know they're going to lie to you often. I have never been lied to by so many people in one office and I'm talking from the very 1st day I walked in. Anna, their "sales person" lies right through her teeth, and continues to do so time and time again. Sherry, one of the dental assistance, just makes things up to appease you with an answer which bit me in the backside down the road & on top of that has a need to make unnecessary rude remarks. Their office manager, she's a total joke and truly very unprofessional. They do have one decent Dr on staff, Dr Phil. But he is under Dr Goodarzi and has to follow her poor lead and decisions. He once told me "I would just do it but I have people above me that I have to answer to". He would be good in his own practice, but working for this place - his abilities were being very limited. So I hope that you will take my experience in this review as a reality check and lesson - Please go somewhere else. I really wish I did! Having their crowns in my mouth for less than a year now, I have ended up with three crowns that have chipped and one was left so high it caused one of my roots to fracture which now needs an implant to replace it. My experience with 4M dental as a cautionary tale. I was referred to 4M dental by a friend who had just started treatment there. I asked to see the dentist and he examined the tooth, I asked . Afterwards l was ushered into an office with a dental consultant named Anna. She used high pressure sales tactics to get me to replace the crown I was discussing with the dentist. I was never happy about that crown's appearance but because it was a front tooth if I had it replaced three other front teeth would need replacement because the lab couldn't match the appearance. Nobody wants their front teeth to look bad. After being quoted a ridiculous high price I told Ana that I would wait a while and consider the possibility, and not just agreed to it out of hand. When I returned for the second half of my cleaning, a new hygienist inspected the original tooth in question and told me that there was a cavity there again. i decided to go ahead and get the crowns done because I had been so unhappy with their appearance. I went back in to see the consultant, Anna. Again, she quoted a ridiculous price, I let her know that the person that had referred me had essentially the same work done, and the prices were much more reasonable for him. After some back-and-forth, she found a way to reduce the total cost. I had the four crowns prepped and waited a month for the permanents to arrive. When they did arrive, they were looked like I was Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber. The dentist sent them back to the lab. Originally, I was told that it was going to take about 2 to 3 weeks for everything to be finished. I insisted that if I was paying so much money for appearances that I was not going to settle for looking worse than when I came in in the first place. after a really unpleasant conversation in which they were pressuring me to accept these ugly crowns I calmly told them that they were not acceptable and they had to send them out yet again. When they finally arrived and got it right, the dentist told me that I needed a new root canal and that I needed a night guard to protect my new crowns, after all I had paid for them. I told them I had duel insurance and that I had an hmo plan that I intended to use for my root canal. Since they didn't accept hmo's so I was going to an in network clinic for They also said that they used two different types of night guards-on rigid and one more malleable, I told them I was used to the more malleable night guards and they insisted on the more rigid type and assured me that I could get a replacement with the more comfortable type if I was unhappy. I never used the night guard they insisted on because I simply couldn't sleep with the discomfort and about two months later I decided I shouldn't wait for the root canal. I called 4M Dental and let them know. I simply couldn't afford continuing with them and I was going to have the work done at my HMO dentist. I let them know that I was still going to hold them to replacing the night guard if it didn't fit, even though I was going to a different dentist. More to the point I let them know this was a possibility before being fitted for the night guard and they agreed that no matter what or where I went for the root canal, they would replace the night guard if I wasn't happy with . At that point when I came to pick it up I let them know how uncomfortable it still was. Why didn't they get me the more malleable type of night guard. They sent in a very disagreeable dentist on staff who came in simply to try to place a quarrel with me. She made insulting statements she was provocative. She asked me why didn't I just go somewhere else for my night guard in the first place. I told her because you people sold me on this. Are you telling me I should not have trusted you? A different consultant came in from Anna Every single thing that transpired during my treatment at this dental clinic was an unpleasant experience but the final interchange was a nightmare. I couldn't believe how rude they were. I knew they were trying to get me to lose my patience and temper it was all in attempt to gain an upper hand in any discussion. But at this point, I decided it was time to cut my losses and get out of this clinic. To anyone considering using 4M Dental it's my advice that you do not. Everyone needs to make a profit, but people should care about how that profit is made. In Healthcare the first goal should be the welfare of the patient. In this boiler room the only driving motivation is bottom line profit. They will flatter, cajole, intimidate, frighten or insult their customers (I say customers because they don't know how to treat you as patients) there are many fine dental offices in this area. I was communicating through email with Vanessa, about certain details when communication stopped . A week or so later I sent her a follow-up email, silence. Never heard a peep from 4M again. 8 months later the right bottom part of their work broke. I called to schedule an appointment for them to repair. Finally received a call back 2 weeks later from their financial person to let me know how much the repair would cost me. WHAT? I have to pay for their shoddy work! I'm doing what everyone else is having to do. File a complaint with the better business bureau and a complaint to the American Dental Association for bad dental work and apparently unqualified staff doing the work ! I went in 2021 to have them give me the lower permanent appliance for my already placed implants. I got a cleaning on May 5, 2025 and told the hygienist that it felt loose, she took x-rays and it showed dark around the implant in the bone. She said she would show it to the Dentist. Two weeks later the entire implant broke and came out. I went to the same office, they sent me to the surgeon, he put four implants in to replace one. He destroyed my left lower jaw bone, he put two implants through my lower jaw and did not put any bone graft in the jaw. One week later, I was in so much pain, he removed one implant. I went on vacation and had to come back four days early, he took the other implant out that was going through my jaw. I kept on telling him my jaw was broken, they kept on saying it wasn't, I couldn't eat, I couldn't open my mouth, I couldn't sleep for six weeks. I went to the hospital, they did a cat scan with contrast and verified my jaw was broken. They charged me $34000.00 for ruining my jaw, there is no bone on the left side covering the nerve. I have made numerous appointments and they told me last week to go to the Hospital. So now, I have no bone, just a nerve on the left side of my jaw, still cant eat or sleep and I am a CFO of a big company here in Palm Desert. Do not go to this place. He was going to go over the history of the business and their doctors but I told him that I read everything off their website word for word. I had to know everything about this place if I was going to do this life changing thing. It took me 6 months to finally get the nerve to actually go through the process. What a waste of time! I could've had perfect teeth for my wedding! I stressed and was nervous for no reason. I was put into a twilight sleep and did not feel a thing. They pulled out all my teeth except 1. I had no missing teeth at all before that. The procedure took 6-7 hours. I woke up and felt nothing but a numb mouth. I took a selfie of myself and boy, I was not cute lol The implants were in place and what was next was putting in the temporaries. Those stayed on during the healing process which took 5-6 months. Let me tell you, I lost 40 pounds (which was much needed lol) because you have to be on a soft diet during the healing process. After choosing the tooth shade and shape, I got another set of temporaries put in which would be a mock of the real thing. Once I was completely satisfied, the permanents were made. No more tooth sensitivity pains, no more bleeding gums, no more crooked teeth. The pictures speak for themselves. The facility is beautiful and top notch. Equipped with what looks to be the latest dental technology. Not only is the facility where procedures are done but it is also a training facility where Dr. Sean educates the staff. This is a real review, i was in a motorcycle accident when I was around 12 years old and knocked out 4 of my front teeth. Early 1970s. The dentist came to the hospital and transplanted my front teeth. They lasted for a year or two but then I needed a bridge. The bridge lasted for 30 years till the earl 2000s at one point I had the bridge removed and replaced along with a plastic retainer with a few teeth attached to it. It always looked like cr@p but it worked So I could eat. Last month the retainer broke and my dentist said its time for a full denture after getting fitted for the denture it was way to big and it was made out of plastic. I remember seeing an add about 4M and gave them a call, I got in super fast. They were super nice and professional along with the cleanest office I have Ever seen. I was pressured into financings for possible Treatment. my account was charged before confirming my treatment could be done. Once the dentist said I was unable to have treatment they did not reverse the charges. I have a negative score for this transaction they refuse to refund or reverse the charges for this transaction it has been 3months. I now have to take time off work to go in to this place and file police report as that's the only way lending point will reverse the charges on their end. In their on hold phone promotional recording they say their work is guaranteed for life. It seems that's a lie too. They seem to have a monopoly on the product they install and nobody else will touch their work. We never doubted that truly, but being able to justify the cost is what we gained from the bad office experience. When we came back to 4M, my heart was immediately lighter. The staff is transparent, communicative, and most of all kind. My mother (as I am sure others are) is very embarrassed, scared, and worried. The staff have always prioritized her comfort. Some people I've really appreciated are Dr. Athena, Vanessa, James, Eddie, Marlene, Becky, and Fernese. I've not been present at all of my mom's appointments but everyone she's interacted with has gotten great reviews when she tells me about them. As the kid of someone who's struggled with their smile for almost half my life... there isn't a way to truly explain how at peace I feel with my mom's health now.
