I've been going to this dentist since my elementary school days. They even have pictures of me since I was a little kid. I remember the dentist very well and enjoy coming here. Theres always entertainment provided in the lobby and the people are very friendly. I have never had a bad experience and my teeth always come out much fresher than when I entered. They figured out how to fix every issue I find with my teeth--Whether it be stains, toothaches, or even bad breath. Im glad to call this place my go-to for dental care. I would absolutely reccomend it to others as my family has always gone here even when we aren't doing the best financially. read more

From 2020 to 2024 my experience with Greater Long Beach Dental was phenomenal. I'd even call them family with the way they took care of me. Fast forward to 2025 and there's new faces and worse service. There use to be zero wait, now I'm 30 minutes into waiting in the middle of a weekday wondering why I keep coming here. (This appointment was scheduled 3 months ago and I'm on time). Caveat is, I haven't gotten a maintenance cleaning in a year and have only been checking in once every few months for my Invisilign where my experience with one of my assistants was surprising. And maybe my expectations were too high but she (1) placed my retainers amongst her equipment wrappers -- feel like thats unhygienic considering the people touching those wrappers (2) sprayed water on my face clearing out my mouth and didn't bother to wipe it off or acknowledge it even (3) grinded my teeth with that buzzing tool that was intended to shave my attachments but I felt nerve pain at the contact -- also feel like that shouldn't happen and it didn't happen ever prior to 2025. I've shared written feedback before with no changes so I'm writing a formal review online. I'm sorry because I know this is a small business but also hope that my feedback is taken seriously and others can make their judgement on my repeated experience this year. read more

I beg you to please go get a second opinion after coming here. I didn't get to do any treatment here cause I literally left crying when she gave me the long list of treatments I supposedly needed to get done. My estimated bill came out to 13,420 dollars and I would have to pay 8, 224 out of pocket for things I didn't need. To top it off this doctor wanted to give me implants on my 2 front teeth and the list goes on and on. I came in for a broken crown that needed to be replaced. I'm so glad I didn't get anything done here because I would've been broke forever trying to pay for things I didn't need in the first place. Please just follow your gut instinct and get a second opinion. I went someplace else and they assured me I didn't need any of the things she recommended. My little boy's gums and tooth started to hurt pretty bad yesterday. So I made an appt for today and they took us in. I got there and met my son and his father and they were getting x rayed. The staff was nice, it was clean and they were all masked. They accepted my son's medi-cal insurance and helped make him feel as comfortable as possible. My son decided to have his tooth pulled and they numbed his gums with gel and then injected his gum to make it more numb before pulling the top tooth out. He felt a little pain but was so brave and didn't scream or cry hard. The Dr was so nice and calm and gentle. She's also a parent so she's really good with kids. Thank you for helping us today. My son got a coloring book, travel toothpaste and toothbrush as well as some floss for kids. Oh! And a balloon with a little case for his tooth. :) read more
