The tee time was $54 before a cart All of the fairways, greens, and tee boxes were pretty rough, but not the worse I've seen. There are definitely better courses for the price, but this isn't a bad one if it is local to you and has a convenient time available. Updated review. General Manager said to give them another chance. Play is still painfully slow even mid week early morning. No real starter, just go wherever you want. No marshal on the course, constant slow play. Carts are in bad condition, no windshield. The one we had felt like the front wheels were going to come off. Greens are marginal, fairways still poor, lots of mud-hasn't rained in over a month. The main bathroom/locker room is a mess. Can't you at least paint it and fix the plumbing? Seems like most of the reviews came on a bad day.. we got a tee time same day on Sunday during brunch for about $40 a person including 2 carts. Got there a little earlier, got some drinks for the cooler in the car, hit the driving range to dial in and played the course. Golf carts were fine, my friend unluckily got one that began to die on her on the 4th hole so she drove it at like 1-2mph back to the pro shop for a new one. The group in front of us kept pace ON FOOT! Those 2 men could move for their age, they declined the cart to stay active and it showed haha they were cool. We had a single behind us, given we had 4 playing we let him play through. After that, there was no one behind us until we hit the back 9. We didn't actually come across any mud, there were some coned/roped off sections on the fairway so we played around it like anyone else should. Staff was cool and helpful. To the General Management of Fullerton Golf Course, I am writing to express my extreme anger and disgust regarding my experience at your course today, Wednesday, March 4th, during my 9:57 AM tee time. What should have been an enjoyable round of golf was ruined by dangerously defective equipment and absolutely appalling customer service from your management. From the very beginning, the golf cart we were given was malfunctioning dangerously. It would accelerate and then suddenly slam on the brakes on its own. This happened multiple times, nearly throwing us out of the cart at least two or three times. This was not just an inconvenience; it was a severe safety hazard. After completing the 3rd hole, the cart completely broke down and refused to move. I called the clubhouse twice to get assistance, but no one answered. I then flagged down a groundskeeper who assured me he would notify the clubhouse. We waited by our broken cart for over 30 minutes, yet absolutely no one came to help. After calling the clubhouse yet again with no answer, we were forced to carry our heavy golf bags and walk past 6 holes all the way back to the clubhouse. We were completely exhausted and frustrated. However, the most offensive part of this ordeal was the treatment we received upon returning. The staff claimed they knew nothing about our situation and had only just heard there was an "abandoned" cart on the 3rd hole. When I rightfully requested a refund, I was only offered the cart fee. When I insisted on a full refund for the completely ruined experience, a short Asian manager stepped in. He asked me, "Are you asking for a refund for the tee time too?" When I confirmed that I was, he openly scoffed and smirked at me before dismissively telling the staff to process it. Let me be entirely clear: this manager's attitude was completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Instead of offering a basic, sincere apology for the dangerous equipment, the 30-minute wait with no help, and the grueling walk back, he treated us like unreasonable complainers trying to cause trouble. That mocking smirk was deeply insulting. I was furious enough to confront him right then and there, but out of respect for the long line of customers waiting behind me, I chose to walk away rather than cause a scene. It is disgraceful that a manager at your establishment would openly mock a paying customer whose experience was completely ruined by your facility's failures. I expect a response acknowledging this incident and an explanation of how you intend to address your manager's completely unacceptable behavior. read more

I played at Fullerton Golf Course recently and came back to find my windshield shattered by a golf ball. I reported it right away, but management's response was cold and dismissive, essentially saying there's nothing they can do. Not only do they take no responsibility, but there are also no cameras in the parking lot and the fencing near the back lot is too low. For a course that hosts so many players, these are basic things that should be in place to protect customers. Accidents happen, I get that. But what's disappointing is the lack of compassion or consideration for their players. Instead of catering to customers, the response I received felt like a shrug. read more

This irregular opening of the golf range extends beyond the rainy season. Additionally they don't open at 6:45am .. more like 20 mins + after sunrise. For future golf members that likes to do some practice swings before heading out to the field.. This is not the place for you! My go to GC good courser to practice short game and face some challenges. Good price and good staff.

I'd like to say Fullerton GC handled my complaint professionally, and refreshingly 'owned' my criticism. The GC manager connected with me, apologized, and explained the situation. He invited me out for another round and I accepted the offer. Tee boxes were all open, and in nice shape. The greens look great too. Still some super muddy spots through the course, but IDK if that can be fixed. I will say, it took right about 5 hours to play the round. Which was a bit annoying. the group in front of us was playing slow, and the group in front of them was playing even slower. Which made us play slow... and so on. On hole 9 we waited about 20min to tee off. Its a challenging course, but we had fun. Thanks Fullerton GC for doing the right thing. I'll be back around soon. read more

Hot day! Glad had a cart and 18 holes with a cart for $51.49 on GolfNow. Starters are friendly on time for start times. Pace 4.5 hours average for golf anywhere now a days. People in front of me seemed like having a good time drinking and smoking if your into those things. Even though was not my best round of golf by far still a decent practice round. My last trip to Fullerton golf course was last Friday. I live very close to Fullerton golf course which is why I decided to book a round on my day off. It had been eight months since the last time I've played here (even though I am about 3 miles away). Every time I play Fullerton, it just seems like something goes wrong which ruins the experience. I showed up to the round 15 minutes ahead of time and I see no less than 4 groups at the 1st tee. The starter said something to the extent of "don't worry we'll get it going". I'm a single, and Fullerton does not give out single carts. As I'm looking for the other guy in my group, 4 people come forward with the same tee time. Yes, the golf course booked a 5-some. That was confirmed with the shop. So, we tee off 30 minutes after our tee time after our 5-some was separated. The group 2 Infront of us is playing terrible and holding everybody up. The conditions of the course were dismal. All of this together just got in my head, and it took a few holes to get out of it. By hole 9, the 2-some Infront of us wrapped back around to hole 2 because it was taking so long, and the 1 guy who was with us joined them. Me and my cart partner were just done with the day, by the time we were done with 9 we were 2 hours and 55 minutes in. Our tee time was 11:48 and we weren't going to finish before the sun went down. I asked for a half refund at the shop (No "pros" here), and they said they don't do refunds. During the slow play there was an "ambassador" that was just moving around the course and parking. He was nice when he came by, but they made no effort to speed up play. Its obvious the staff at this place doesn't care. I know its affordable, but spend your money anywhere else. You will have more fun at Birch hills than here even though its longer. I was between Fullerton and Anaheim hills when I booked, and now I've learned my lesson. read more

Played the course again today. And for the last time. Again, no starter. Spent my time asking other golfers at the first tee their tee time so I could find out who has the same tee time as me? Doing this so I don't get in front or stuck between or behind groups. Definitely poor course mgmt. The course has players and it's very busy at the driving range, so I guess it doesn't matter because the money is coming in for this course. Just a note: if there is a lack of staff. Many course use a PA system to announce "who is up next" on the first tee. That small course next to Fullerton has it figured out. You guys should check it out. See ya! read more

We played Sunday at 10:06 am. They did have a Marshall/starter named Skip I think? He was very nice and helpful, a great addition instead of the usual free for all on the first tee. That's the good, the rest is not great at all. The greens were punched (no warning no discount). The tee boxes were pretty torn up and not level in many spots. The punched greens needed resanding badly, the cups where the holes were cut were very rounded, Not a chance they were cut within that day... maybe 4 days old? One hole (13?) was randomly flooded badly (no warning no discount) to the point there was a lake in the middle of the short landing zone all surrounded by impassable mud. We saw at least 10 golf balls stuck in the mud there. Unraked hard packed bunkers. Patchy fairways. Some holes are pretty poorly labeled so you don't know what to hit or where to go. I guess the lack of care is prevalent, as remember, by EARLY Sunday..... almost every trash can was overflowing onto the course, bathrooms were dirty and out of paper. Holes in walls... unsanitary. We paid $69.00 each for a dirty, poorly maintained course. We will not again...You don't' have to. We did not dare order food based on how dirty and unmaintained everthing was. read more

Fullerton Golf Course is by far one of the most fun and challenging courses I've played. I did the back 9 and had an absolute blast! What I really enjoyed about this course is how different it is from others I've played. The fairways are quite narrow, which makes some of the holes less forgiving, but that just adds to the fun and challenge. If you're up for a unique experience and a bit of a test, this course is a must-try. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I played there today, and it was my first time there. I am not a great golfer; I am a novice. The course was rough, I had a chance to watch my ball stop suddenly and move to the right (it hit a small trench/gully on the 15th hole. The greens were so crappy and had such bad patterns in them. It was often like golfing in a jungle, and I just had the urge to stop playing. But hey, I am sure you, Bryson DeChambeaus, out there love the difficulty, but I felt the quality of fairways and greens left a great deal to desire. IF I am going to spend $138 for my son and me to golf, I expect much more. HE is a golfer and had a few complaints so I am sure I was not far off-base. read more

Had a great round at Fullerton Golf Course on Sunday 06/22/25. Tee boxes were under repair a few weeks ago but they're all in tip-top shape now! Greens were firm and true. The staff here is unbelievably friendly and professional. Pace of play was great, actually faster than we're used to in OC. Pro tip.... Cafe has some of the best French fries of any restaurant I've ever been to. Cold beer and delicious hot fries - it's the simple things in life!! Someone has a big pair charging 70 dollars to play this. I watched a 2 some in front of our group taking 16-17 shots per hole each and a marshall smiling and watching. 3 holes behind by number 8 and this useless idiot did nothing and said nothing allowing them to re-tee 5-6 times each on every hole. Course not bad for being in a flood channel. Employees are nice and friendly, front office and coffee shop. One of the marshals that works the weekends as a starter just practices on the putting green all day while occasionally checking in golfers, even when putting green is crowded. Biggest complaint is the Players Club and driving range. Players Club monthly price continues to increase while losing benefits. Originally received 2 large buckets a day, reduced golf rates and free drink with round. Now it is one medium bucket, reduced rate and drink. Not to mention every time it rains, the range it closed for several days afterwards because their "picker" can not retrieve the balls. The picker also breaks down often. So if you want cheap golf Fullerton is fine. Stay away from Players Club. Definitely not worth it. read more

Have been here multiple times but not sure if I am going to go back after my most recent experience. Had a tee time for 2:12. Was not able to start until 2:30 because the course ran out of carts which I paid for and a spectator. Never received a cart and decided to walk instead which meant my spectator left because of the lack of carts. They did not want to walk. Pace of play was extremely slow because there was a group in front of us that were letting kids under 8 with little to no experience play. The ambassador said I can get a refund at the golf shop but when I got back to the golf shop it was already closed. Called the golf shop the next day and said I need to call the GM but he's off. And they don't normally issue refunds even though they charged me for a cart and spectator and neither of those happened. I have called the GM twice and left voicemails and they haven't returned my call. Extremely poor customer service. read more

First, a shout out to the Grill. They make really good food. Fresh, hot and fast. They do a good job. Always friendly. And for the course, lately the pace has been really good, fast even on a couple of occasions. But beware of the greens they can be fast and mean but always fun!! read more

Playing at this course is really good bang for the buck! $28 for public pricing and $14 for cart! It's challenging, narrow but very fun to play at. Stay in the fairway or you will be practicing alot of difficult shots from the trees or rough. The food here is normally pretty good too and I recommend the breakfast burrito with sausage. You can order it on the 9th hole and it'll be ready by the time you head to hole 10. Give this course a chance and challenge yourself! read more

The guy at the register was giving a bad attitude to the dude in front of me who was just trying to renew a membership. The older Asian gentleman was just trying to renew his membership or get something straightened out and the dude seem like he couldn't have the time of day for a customer who's trying to give them a monthly fee. Went about my round and called the number at the beginning of hole nine to place an order from the restaurant after three tries on the line finally someone picked up and took my order. Finished up nine headed up to the restaurant where I was told that no order had been placed and the number out there was not in any way related to the restaurant. Was really strange because the person who picked up the phone number greeted me saying this was Fullerton golf course's restaurant. The woman running the restaurant had little time or care about the situation just said she'd check out the number while saying the kitchen was closed. I walked in to the pro shop to ask the guys there if the number was accurate and they confirmed that it belonged to the restaurant so make of that what you will all I know is I'm never coming back. read more

I joined a players club membership for Fullerton Golf Course but I couldn't use my benefits almost one month. I paid the fee for practice lounge at another golf course because they were always closed. I barely tried to play a field last Saturday but I couldn't play a golf because the fairway was too much watery.They said because of rain but I remember it was always watery on the fairway before raining.I decided to cancel membership and two managers said they will charge one more month after cancellation month because of their policy.When I joined the membership at the pro-shop,nobody explained regarding about the policy and they just accepted membership fee. I have to pay for 2months without any benefits from them.If anyone wants to join this golf course,be careful because you will waste your money! read more
