This deli has been a staple in the community for a long time. I started coming here with my dad over 15 years ago and although it has a different owner the food quality has been delicious and consistent and the staff is always friendly. This casual and quick service stop serves some of the best sandwiches in the area and has a nice selection of sides and other convenient items as well. Not to be missed are the hard roll breakfast sandwiches and steak and cheese grinders however everything I've tried here is amazing. read more

on Friday 8/8/24 I purchased 2 full sandwiches around 6pm. The first was a Italian combo, and a Deluxe Ham. The Italian combo was good and of course not mine. i had the ham, I ate the first half when I got back home around 6:30. That was good. Well the other half was not it had a used band-aid in it. Great little deli in Naugatuck. The staff and owner are always friendly. Timing is important as the parking lot is a little small and they are quite popular - so peak times get pretty packed. They're also a little convenience store so if you need ketchup or mustard for the house, or if you need to grab some beer, they have that too. read more

He also owns Lena's in Waterbury which is another 5 star spot. FMD has the usual convenience store items and then some. Great place for breakfast sandwiches fresh off the grill and coffee in the morning. You can't go wrong with their specialty sandwich, The Robust. I also at times get their lunch sandwiches-The American Combo with everything or the Chicken Cutlet Sandwich are great!
