We were in town to see our Athens family and they took us to Fully Loaded Pizza for lunch. This was our first time giving it a try and they gave us suggestions based on their previous experiences. Let me say right out the gate that we had great service from Faith. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day and she didn't miss a beat. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We visited Fully Loaded Pizza Company in Watkinsville with a large group of 15, and just a heads up they do have tip policy for big parties. Service was not great but not terrible. It was crowded so I expected some delays. We sat outside, enjoyed great conversation, and appreciated the relaxed atmosphere while we waited. Unfortunately, one of their ovens went down during our visit, so our food took longer than expected. The staff handled it as best they could, and once the food arrived, it was definitely worth the wait. Our group tried a little bit of everything--wings, the Parmigiana Chicken Hoagie, garlic knots, and several pizzas. Bonus: they had a gluten free pizza option. The Walter White pizza was absolutely incredible, packed with flavor, and The Meathead lived up to its name--fully loaded with meat and delicious. The quality and the preparation of the food is just terrible. We have rarely had anything good or prepared right at Fully loaded. We don't eat there often for good reason, but try it every once in a while. We decided tonight we would and ordered a med pepperoni pizza, no love, extra crispy and light sauce. We also order lemon pepper wings extra crispy. They did get one thing right. They didn't put love on the crust. Yea! The rest of it was wrong and on top of that it was just terrible. We put everything in the oven when we got home to try and salvage, but the tastes wasn't even worth it. Have to get something else from somewhere else. What a disappointment and waste of money again. The Friday night atmosphere was similar to most pizza restaurants- load with friendly chatter that easily drowned out the sounds emanating from the way too many tv screens. The waitresses were attention, smiling, and personable. The pizza, unfortunately fell flat. The thin crust was tasteless. Its nakedness was scantily covered by the sheerest of marinara sauce. The toppings were scantily spread above the sauce and the pizza was finished with a covering of cheese meant to clothe / disguise what lied beneath. I stopped into the local pizza joint to grab some wings and something to eat. I was happy to see ravioli on the menu; I hadn't been here in a while, and I had forgotten that they had things other than wings and pizza. I ordered the ravioli with meatballs and 10 wings . I asked them to pack the 10 wings to go; I wanted to eat a couple, but there's no way I could've eaten all of those while I was sitting in the restaurant. Besides, I thought they might make a pretty good snack later. The wings came first so I opened them up to grab one. They were so hot that I couldn't hold one so I had to leave the box open and wait for a bit. After a minute or so, the ravioli came. it had two big meatballs and two slices of of some pretty good garlic bread. However, the ravioli wasn't as hot as I expected. In fact it was just warm. It was warm enough to eat, but I think it should've been hotter because it came out last and I would assume wasn't sitting in a window somewhere. Overall I was pleased with my experience, the food was good the service was great even though I was served by a trainee. She was enthusiastic, thorough and seemed willing and excited to learn the job. I gave her a good tip because she was trying so hard. if you ever find yourself in Watkinsville, Georgia, it would behoove you to stop by Fully Loaded Pizza on Mars Hill rd for lunch or dinner. Last night we ordered wings to go and were really surprised to learn that the order of wings had gone from 8 to 6 to only five per order. We tried this place for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful afternoon so we ate outside. Nice big patio area but they had a lot of dishes still on the tables. Took about 15 minutes to empty all of the tables. My wife ordered the six wings over medium with ranch dressing. I got the hot Italian sub with fries. Did not see our waitress much so did not get refills on drinks or the straw my wife requested. The table next to us got an order of fried pickles that they gave to us. Pickle spears that are cut in one inch bites, battered and fried. The batter was too salty and there was no dipping sauce that you normally get with fried pickles. It was free so you can't complain too much. My Italian sub was very good. Lot of meat and a lot of peppers. The fries were battered and not hot. My wife thought the wings were ok. As a rule, when one orders this item to eat at the restaurant, there are 3 chicken tenders, over pasta and covered with cheese. My take out order had one tender and a shred of another tender. It was topped with a more cheese than normal. My check was $13.66. When person taking my money made change she only gave me a dollar from the $15 I gave her. I asked her for it and she gave it to me with no apology or mention of making a mistake. I got the idea this was not a mistake but an intentional short change. I had planned to give her an extra dollar which would have given her a $2.34 tip, but because of her actions I left her nothing. Will not ever return to that restaurant. read more

We decided to give this new pizza place a try. It is slightly more bar oriented than the previous pizza place (fifth avenue), but basically same on the inside. We ordered 3 Stromboli's and one calzone for takeout. 32 minutes from the time we placed the order at the bar till the time it came out boxed and ready to go. Service was nice, but hostess could have been a little warmer once we said we were there to place a to-go order. Food quality was okay. Stromboli's were a little on the small size, but seemed to have fresh ingredients. The Italian sausage had a little more spice than most Italian sausages which is a good thing for us- good flavor! I came in with pretty low expectations about this spot. I'm one of those people who thinks less is more on pizza. I like a couple toppings, but I also want to see the cheese. So I hear "fully loaded" and I scoff. Yet, the fully loaded Hawaiian was delicious. I'm not sure what made it so loaded, as it wasn't covered with an insane amount of toppings, but whatever. I really liked the jalapeños paired with the pineapple and Canadian bacon. It definitely worked. We were a crowd of about 15. There was plenty of space for us on the back patio. We ordered 5 pizzas to share, and unfortunately they were served staggered, so we didn't all get to eat st the same time. This isn't so much the fault of the restaurant, though. I don't expect them to be used to giant groups. Servers were friendly and accommodating of the confused group, and made everything work just fine. I like the pizza, wings and pretty much all the food. But there is a guy that is sitting at the bar just about every time come in that is loud and obnoxious as heck. He never shuts up. And I get the Impression that he works there the way he moves behind the bar. He's got a pony tail, which is not the problem just trying to describe him. I'm new in town and decided to pick the spot because it was closer than the others and it look like it gave out promising food. I ordered the slice of anchovy and pepperoni because I've never had anchovy before and I could only assume that it's supposed to be that salty but I'm not taking away a star because of that it was a large slice. The pizza was very well made and I liked it but the one part that really made me pick this spot was their garlic bread knots. I attempted to eat three of them the first one was a hair too hard and the rest were incredibly doughy. As you can see in the last photo I pressed my fingers into them and I did not like what I felt. I could see where this could be a good garlic bread knot but because I had it delivered there's really nothing I can do. This seems like a great place I can't wait to go eat there and have a beer but I definitely am going to stay away from the garlic roll knots for sure. I still will highly recommend even though the anchovies and pepperoni were a little salty I still ate the whole thing because it was very good, the 11-in pizza was flavored quite nicely, and they delivered within the time frame that they said they were.
