Great spot for a delicious lunch while waiting for your pooch over at the Vet hospital. Friendly service and tasty fish tacos and salmon mango salad.

Again, cue harp music, Locos is a nostalgic stop for me when I am back in my college town-. Back in the day, it was precariously perch on a Oconee Street just near my college residence hall-Payne Hall. Back then, I was a big fan of the Rooster. It has changed over the years and now I go for the wings. The Hot flavor is the perfect combination balance of heat for me. The wings were very small. Very small. I get cost cutting efforts are helping the business make money but please, I will pay a couple of extra dollars for a wing that is more than two bites. Really.

    Boneless Wings

Amazing boneless wings. Kind staff and clean restaurant. Portions are great and prices are fair.

Steak medallions, sweet potato fries, broccoli and salad.

Food was ready when they said it would be. Hostess was friendly and kind. Food was also very good. This was the first time my mother has eaten from Locos.

Had a terrible experience across the street at Blind Pig Tavern so we left and came to Loco's. I am SO glad we did!!!! We were treated exceptionally!!!!! Everyone was extremely nice, even though it was busy. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves, and we did!!!! The food was AWESOME, service was IMPECCABLE, and they were extremely friendly and fun!!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Very unimpressed. Food took 25+ minutes to arrive and quality of food was lacking. Definitely the last time we come here.

Men's room chronically dirty, has been for some time. Unhygienic. The food varies, service is usually OK or even good.

Maybe we went on an off night?…read more Family of five went by for dinner. Online reviews looked good and the menu posted at the door looked good. The bartender greeted us when we walked in and let us know to order our food at the bar. She was friendly. We ordered an appetizer of fried cheese curds, two chicken parm melts, chicken tacos, Dooley drip, and a chicken tender meal. The total was $97 with sodas, $120 after tip. They brought out a chicken parm and chicken tacos first. I got the chicken tacos and noticed that they smelled really bad. I took one bite and couldn't decide if it was the chicken or the sauce that was so bad. They honestly smelled like somebody with terrible body odor. Two other people at our table tried it and nobody liked it. We only managed to eat one of the three tacos. Everybody was laughing that I picked the wrong entree. Then our appetizer arrived and later the rest of the food. The chicken parm melts also had a bad taste and smell. I ate a very small piece of chicken from the chicken parm and couldn't eat any more of it. Only half of one chicken parm melt was ate between the three people that tried it. The Dooley Drip was liked and ate along with cheese curds. Unfortunately our son didn't try his chicken tenders as the other chicken didn't taste good. After we had given up on the chicken parm's, the tenders and the tacos we mostly just snacked on the fries. We did take the left overs home thinking that we may eat them later but while walking to the vehicle everybody agreed that they weren't touching them so we tossed them in a trashcan.

Chicken parm sandwich is really good. A bit spicy. Place is kinda surprisingly priceyread more

Fun local place to eat while you're in Athens. It has an English pub vibe. There was a guy playing…read moremusic. It was seat your self. Our waiter was nice and the food came out quickly. I got the fish and chips. You can order one or two pieces. It was Guiness beer battered. Very good and not greasy. I will definitely get it again. We also got the red beans and rice. It was very good but didn't have a lot of sausage.

Table for to 2 for lunch As we approached the property, we…read morerealized that street parking was the only option, but we snagged a spot quickly. It was an old-school street meter, thankfully it accepted credit cards. We took a short walk across the street and noticed a few outdoor tables in front, before heading inside. We entered and saw the sign instructing to seat yourself. We sat at a high top table pretty centrally located. The whole interior felt like we were transported to a British pub. Our server quickly came over with menus and waters, giving us a few minutes to review the options. We needed some time to review the menu. The beer list was massive; drafts as well as cans and bottles spread across multiple pages. While they don't offer traditional beer flights, they do serve smaller 11 ounce pours. Wifey ordered a couple of those: a Harp Premium Lager and a Bavak Super Wit from the draft list. I went with a bottled Pilsner Urquell and later tried an 11 ounce taster of "Escape Button," an IPA from local Athens brewery, Athentic. We enjoyed all of our choices. The food menu featured classic pub options, but also a few that you wouldn't expect like a Curry Chicken Bowl that I almost ordered but instead I went with the Turkey Club sandwich with no tomatoes and a side salad. Wifey ordered Chicken tenders with french fries. The food took a little longer than expected to come out and when it arrived my sandwich still came out with tomatoes. I did not make a big deal about it and picked them out. My sandwich and salad were actually very good and Wifey said her meal was also very good. While hanging out in the dining room we noticed some original artwork near the bar that we found out was to depict the history of wine. There's also an upstairs area that was blocked off during our visit, and a sign mentioned that live music starts at 10 PM. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch time visit to The Globe and would definitely return the next time we are in town.
