We have been to Fulton and Main several times. The atmosphere here is amazing and usually we have had great experiences with our food. However, our last visit was disappointing. I got the Southwest salad, which was very lettuce heavy and in fact did not have any avocado as listed in the menu. The grilled chicken on it and dressing were tasty. My husband got the smothered chicken, which we have both had before, and it was not hot. My red wine was 1.25 more expensive than listed in the menu. Our lasted experience just did not meet our expectations of what we have experience in the past. read more

The food was absolutely fantastic. Such great quality and cooked to perfection. Reasonable wait time and waiters were prompt with refills and bringing out necessities. Service was quick and courteous. Lily was very considerate and ensured we had everything we needed. My husband and I visited this restaurant about 7:30 on Saturday night, October 18. It was mildly busy, and we were told we had to wait 10-15 minutes, which was fine. All the staff we dealt with at that time were very friendly, and we waited somewhat longer than the time quoted, but I recognize people may stay later than you thought, etc. No big deal. We were seated probably a bit before 8. We sat at the table to which we were directed, only to find that while it had been "cleaned," it had not been dried. It was so wet we literally didn't want to touch it. I waved down someone, and they did fix it, but it took five minutes or so for that to happen. A waitress did wipe it down and brought us water, though we were never asked if we wanted anything else. The menu is pretty limited, and most of the entrees were of no interest to either of us. We had fried fish the evening before, we neither of us care for chicken alfredo, not in the mood for a burger, but they had salmon on the menu, so we both ordered that. Our order was identical, the grilled salmon, which was offered with asparagus, which was also offered with broccoli instead, and a mixed green salad. No bread was mentioned, nor was it offered, also ok. The price for this was $18 each. The salad arrived fairly quickly, and was 90% iceberg lettuce, which was not in bite-size pieces, but very large ones. There were literally perhaps three or four carrot shreds, and maybe the same amount of red cabbage, a few pieces of tomato, and a dozen croutons. The blue cheese dressing was good. The salad was served on an overflowing bread plate. It was literally not possible to eat the salad without knocking parts of it onto the table. It is what I would have expected in a budget type of cafeteria, not a sit-down restaurant as part of an $18 meal. The salmon arrived shortly after the salad. Both were very modest pieces of salmon, not what I expected for the price, and considering the rest of the meal. It came with five or six spears of VERY thin asparagus, so little that we looked at each other with raised eyebrows, to say, "That's it?" I The asparagus was so woody and dry that it literally wasn't edible. The salmon came with nothing else, When it was delivered, we were not asked if we'd like lemon or tartar sauce. No one checked in on us again, the only interactions we had were when we flagged down a server. It took several minutes to do that, so we ate the salmon and picked at the less-than expected salad. When we got a waitress's attention, she apologized, and we asked if we could have the broccoli instead, she said she would put in the order. When we indicated that the salmon wasn't great, and asked for lemon, she also offered to bring tartar sauce, which she did, The lemon was brought from the bar, in thin slices, rather than a wedge. My husband ended up going to the bar for a refill of water, because that was never offered. We had eaten about half of the salmon, the only edible thing on the plate by the time we got anyone's attention, and then expecting we'd get a replacement vegetable soon, ate pretty slowly. The broccoli never arrived, nor did anyone mention it again or let us know what the status was. Our water glasses were never refilled; my husband had to go to the bar himself to get a refill. The bartender was quick and courteous about it. Finally, we had eaten all the salmon, without any of the advertised vegetables, since the asparagus was inedible. We asked for the check, the waitress apologized and said she hoped the rest of the meal was good, and we indicated that the salmon was really pretty borderline. Her response was to tell us that the salmon wasn't the best thing on the menu, which lead us to wonder why it was ON the menu, then. We spend $45+ for two very average at best iceberg lettuce salads, and two small pieces of mediocre salmon with no other edible vegetable, while having to ask for the table to be dried, handle our own refills, and wave down staff when we needed something. We were never unpleasant or loud. There was no offer from staff to reduce the price since we never got literally one third of what we ordered. If you're looking for a good meal, I don't think this is the place for it. The staff was friendly enough, but not at all attentive or particularly effective. We walked out feeling very much as though we were taken advantage of and overcharged for what we received. The best we could say about it was, "At least we didn't get food poisoning." read more

Service was a little slow, but we weren't in a rush. They listed on a chalkboard what their lunch special was & the price was $5 which seemed pretty amazing. My husband ordered the special & I had the fish basket with truffle fries. My fries were plentiful & good, cod fish was overcooked (I didn't finish it). Received our bill & we were charged $18 for the lunch special, not $5. We won't go out of our way to return but if we're in Berne again, we'll be willing to try different menu items. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on the weekend. We got the pretzel bites and the tenderloin and we thought both were very good. It had a nice atmosphere and I could see it being a fun place to stop for a drink in the evening. read more

I don't know where to start! This is such a lovely business with such friendly staff! When I went to this lovely restaurant, I ordered the Black Bear Club with a Shirley Temple and Truffle fries. All of which far exceeded my expectations. Excellent excellent food. There is a pool table at the end of the restaurant near the restrooms. Located on the right side of the restaurant is a bar that runs by the boothes on the left of the restaurant. There are about five dining tables in the restaurant toward the front of the building. The really unique part about this establishment is that you can place your drink order and your food order and then go play some pool and then come back to find your food waiting for you! Really enjoy the atmosphere at Fulton & Main, the owners did an incredible job with that. We have been here a several times and most of the food has been top notch, drinks are always good. The Fulton Salad is my favorite! We have noticed over time that the service seems to be declining. Two of the times we have been there most recently, we have witnessed the bartenders taking shots with friends at the bar while working and not tending to their customers. read more

Food was descent - service was TERRIBLE- worst service I have ever had at any restaurant. Not just me and my group, talking to another customer 2 weeks later was told the same thing- waitress too busy talking to co-workers at the bar to even take our order. had to stop a bus boy to ask for service, had to stop another waitress for a refill, waitress put the wrong food in for our order. Sat by pool table and was completely forgotten. Our waitress went to another table that was not hers to chat without taking our order then went right back to the bar to talk. Too bad management did not do a better job training some of the waitress staff- have never left at least a 20% tip but this waitress got exactly what she deserved a huge zero first and last time the food was not worth the bad service- suggest if you want to eat here -order to go only with no waitress involved read more
